So how are You surviving in our crazy world of today? Many have fear as the over riding emotion  ~ fear of the pandemic, of the disease, fear of the vaccine. They have bought into the idea that masks will save them, or being 6 feet from everyone will preserve their life. It’s all they think/ talk about.

We were all created for one purpose: to establish an intimate personal relationship with our Creator God. Once we have achieved this, He will lead us into other endeavors for our next purpose. These goals are not excluded by the pandemonium of the world. They remain in place and actually will remove the need for fear. God loves us so much, He sent His Son to go through torture and death to redeem us so we can have His nature, His DNA, obey His commands, and have His promises.

God promises to not just go before us to prepare the way, but will also be our rear guard.

Isaiah 52:12 (Amp) For you will not go out with haste, nor will you go in flight [as was necessary when Israel left Egypt]; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.

Isaiah 58:8 (Amp)

Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.

The lies of the enemy cannot then plague us, for the Lord God of Hosts goes before us and He is also our rear guard. Nothing can come up behind to attack us, for my all knowing, all sufficient God of the universe is our rear guard. He is also the One Who goes before us to lead and guide.

I praise You and I worship You, mighty God! You provide the fresh air to breathe, that wondrous clean cool freshness to bless us. You gift us with rain to refresh the thirsty ground and bring up beauty. You bless us with rain of the Spirit to quench the thirst of our souls! Your love is powerful life-giving glory that fills our lives. You are indeed a marvelous God! Let us bow down our hearts and heads before Him, that we may live a life pleasing to Him.

The following prophecy was given by Pastors Mac and Lynne Hammond on January 16, 2011:

You've wondered in your heart "Why is this happening this way? Why is this unfolding? Why is this occurring? I've prayed, I've believed, I've exercised my faith, I've spoken the Word, I've stood and I've stood" and you've wondered "Why is this unfolding in my life? Why are these things happening? I don't understand.”

The Lord would remind you that there is a realm beyond this natural arena, much larger, much more significant in scope, a realm that the natural man does not see nor understand, a realm that you will not penetrate naturally or have natural understanding of, a realm that I've described in My Word as the unseen realm, an eternal realm, a realm where a war is being waged of such magnitude that the individual cannot even imagine, a war that has its effect and impact on your daily life.

And you'll not understand why some of these things occur that do in your life. And that's the reason, saith God, I've said not to lean to your own understanding, that there are things now that you won't understand. You see as though through a glass darkly. But know this, saith God, regardless of your natural understanding, My Word is a lamp unto your feet.

My Word will guide you and give you a system of supernatural navigation in an arena of warfare that often you don't even perceive. So it is vital, saith God, regardless of your understanding that you remain firmly anchored in the truth of My Word each day proclaiming the truths of who you are in Christ. And you will find your life unfolding in victory and in blessing, saith God.

2 Peter 1:4

4 As a result of this, He has given you[a]  magnificent promises[b] that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises[c] we can experience partnership[d] with the divine nature, by which you have escaped[e] the corrupt desires that are of the world.

FOOTNOTE 1:4 The Greek word koinonos means “to participate as a partner, to partake of, to be a companion with, to have fellowship with” the divine nature. This is one of the great mysteries of our faith, that God shares his nature with us. We are given birth by the Holy Spirit to be God’s true sons and daughters, and every father imparts his DNA and his “nature” to his children.

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Cor. 5:17 NIV)  Whwn we have chosen Jesus as king of our heart, we beome new people; it's a real change of who we are!

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Eph. 2:10 NIV)

For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. (1 Cor. 15:221 NIV)

Indeed, with Adam’s genes we are tainted and death is the result; however when we choose to accept Jesus gift of salvation, we receive the new DNA of God Himself. We are made alive for eternity, able to know God and live in His presence as one of His beloved children.

My friends, I invite you to come and be part of the family of God. Choose to accept Jesus freely offered gift of salvation. He’s paid the price. Just repent of your sins and ask Jesus to be the King of your heart. The rewards are mighty!

SEARCHING FOR A CLOSER WALK WITH GOD

                                        AWESOME GOD

 DIGGING DEEPER

Sometimes the terrible awesomeness of God hits me and sends me reeling into deep meditation. It always carries its reward of a new closeness with my God. It happened this morning. In the beginning I was distracted with my mind wandering here and yon. Then I ‘woke up’ and commanded it to return. God is so good! Holy Spirit began to lead me in prayer.

Sorry, my Lord. I come to our meeting this morning with scattered thoughts; help me, Lord, to rein them in. That You even desire to meet with me is so amazing! Deep breath. Moses asked God, “what shall I say when they ask 'Who sent me’?” You responded, “Say the Great I AM sent me.” You, God, are not hemmed in by time. For You there is no ‘was, will be’, there is only I AM. Before You I bow down my heart, my 'who I am' I submit to You; help me become who You created me to be.

Exodus 3:13-14 (AMP)

13 And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? 14 And God said to Moses, I Am Who I Am and What I Am, and I Will Be What I Will Be; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I Am has sent me to you!

  • Footnotes: Exodus 3:15 To know the name of God is to witness the manifestation of those attributes and apprehend that character which the name denotes.

Can you feel the depth of that name? 'I AM' signifies so much ~ timelessness, absolute love, supreme power, unimaginable expansion ~ an incomprehensible being, totally surrounding. There simply are not words to express the grandness of Who our God is. HIS LOVE FOR US  S SO APPARENT IN HIS WORD!

Psalm 91:14 (AMP)

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness—trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

Isaiah 52:6 (AMP)

Therefore My people shall know what My name is and what it means; therefore they shall know in that day that I am He who speaks; behold, I Am!

Indeed my God! You are the great I AM! This measures so deep and so high and so wide. You revealed Your staggering magnificence to David, and it comes out here:

Psalm 139:1-10

O Lord, you have examined my heart

and know everything about me.

2 You know when I sit down or stand up.

You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Even when it’s my mind traveling on tangents.

3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home.

You know everything I do.

4 You know what I am going to say

even before I say it, Lord.

5 You go before me and follow me.

You place your hand of blessing on my head.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too great for me to understand!

7 I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from your presence!

8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;

if I go down to the grave, you are there.

9 If I ride the wings of the morning,

if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

10 even there your hand will guide me,

and your strength will support me.

You are always with me.

You will guide me.

You will always be my support. Your strength

upholds me, protects me, supports me.

Lord, You are so good! What a privilege to know You! Thank You that You continue to grow me closer to You. Thank You! I love being together with You, my Lord.
