So how are You surviving in our crazy world of today? Many have fear as the over riding emotion  ~ fear of the pandemic, of the disease, fear of the vaccine. They have bought into the idea that masks will save them, or being 6 feet from everyone will preserve their life. It’s all they think/ talk about.


We were all created for one purpose: to establish an intimate personal relationship with our Creator God. Once we have achieved this, He will lead us into other endeavors for our next purpose. These goals are not excluded by the pandemonium of the world. They remain in place and actually will remove the need for fear. God loves us so much, He sent His Son to go through torture and death to redeem us so we can have His nature, His DNA, obey His commands, and have His promises.

 

God promises to not just go before us to prepare the way, but will also be our rear guard.

Isaiah 52:12 (Amp) For you will not go out with haste, nor will you go in flight [as was necessary when Israel left Egypt]; for the Lord will go before you, and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.


Isaiah 58:8 (Amp)

Then shall your light break forth like the morning, and your healing (your restoration and the power of a new life) shall spring forth speedily; your righteousness (your rightness, your justice, and your right relationship with God) shall go before you [conducting you to peace and prosperity], and the glory of the Lord shall be your rear guard.


The lies of the enemy cannot then plague us, for the Lord God of Hosts goes before us and He is also our rear guard. Nothing can come up behind to attack us, for my all knowing, all sufficient God of the universe is our rear guard. He is also the One Who goes before us to lead and guide.


I praise You and I worship You, mighty God! You provide the fresh air to breathe, that wondrous clean cool freshness to bless us. You gift us with rain to refresh the thirsty ground and bring up beauty. You bless us with rain of the Spirit to quench the thirst of our souls! Your love is powerful life-giving glory that fills our lives. You are indeed a marvelous God! Let us bow down our hearts and heads before Him, that we may live a life pleasing to Him.


                                                                           



 

The following prophecy was given by Pastors Mac and Lynne Hammond on January 16, 2011:

 You've wondered in your heart "Why is this happening this way? Why is this unfolding? Why is this occurring? I've prayed, I've believed, I've exercised my faith, I've spoken the Word, I've stood and I've stood" and you've wondered "Why is this unfolding in my life? Why are these things happening? I don't understand.”

 

The Lord would remind you that there is a realm beyond this natural arena, much larger, much more significant in scope, a realm that the natural man does not see nor understand, a realm that you will not penetrate naturally or have natural understanding of, a realm that I've described in My Word as the unseen realm, an eternal realm, a realm where a war is being waged of such magnitude that the individual cannot even imagine, a war that has its effect and impact on your daily life.



                                                 


And you'll not understand why some of these things occur that do in your life. And that's the reason, saith God, I've said not to lean to your own understanding, that there are things now that you won't understand. You see as though through a glass darkly. But know this, saith God, regardless of your natural understanding, My Word is a lamp unto your feet.

 

My Word will guide you and give you a system of supernatural navigation in an arena of warfare that often you don't even perceive. So it is vital, saith God, regardless of your understanding that you remain firmly anchored in the truth of My Word each day proclaiming the truths of who you are in Christ. And you will find your life unfolding in victory and in blessing, saith God.

 

2 Peter 1:4

4 As a result of this, He has given you[a]  magnificent promises[b] that are beyond all price, so that through the power of these tremendous promises[c] we can experience partnership[d] with the divine nature, by which you have escaped[e] the corrupt desires that are of the world.

FOOTNOTE 1:4 The Greek word koinonos means “to participate as a partner, to partake of, to be a companion with, to have fellowship with” the divine nature. This is one of the great mysteries of our faith, that God shares his nature with us. We are given birth by the Holy Spirit to be God’s true sons and daughters, and every father imparts his DNA and his “nature” to his children.


Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Cor. 5:17 NIV)  Whwn we have chosen Jesus as king of our heart, we beome new people; it's a real change of who we are!

For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do. (Eph. 2:10 NIV)

For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. (1 Cor. 15:221 NIV)

 

Indeed, with Adam’s genes we are tainted and death is the result; however when we choose to accept Jesus gift of salvation, we receive the new DNA of God Himself. We are made alive for eternity, able to know God and live in His presence as one of His beloved children.

My friends, I invite you to come and be part of the family of God. Choose to accept Jesus freely offered gift of salvation. He’s paid the price. Just repent of your sins and ask Jesus to be the King of your heart. The rewards are mighty!

                                                                                


THE ALL POWERFUL ONE!

Jeremiah 10:12-13 (TNLT)
 But God made the earth by his power,
  and he preserves it by his wisdom.With his own understanding
 He stretched out the heavens 13 When He speaks in the thunder,
  the heavens roar with rain.  He causes the clouds to rise over the earth. sends the lightning with the rain
 and releases the wind from his storehouses.


Father, I come humbly before You this morning. It’s You Who are life. I am nothing without You. Holy Spirit, I am feeling at loose ends this morning ~ really in need of Your help now Holy Spirit! Where do You want me to go from here? mostly for our relationship?


You gave me Jeremiah 10:12 above. You Lord God are all powerful! You created this earth, this beautiful, magnificent earth full of wonders. Mountains tall! Rivers wide and deep! Melting snow causing mountain streams to begin to grow and cascade full force down the mountainside. Flowers of myriads of scents and colors! Trees that rest in winter and miraculously begin a blooming process in the spring, new life. Refreshing moisture in rains and in frozen rain, that is snow. Beautiful white snow that covers up and reshapes our world for a time. Waterfalls that leap over cliffs in rushing tumults crashing thunderously in the frothing pools below.


In Your power You made beasts of every size and variety, all in perfect order, all knit together working in Your plan. Yes, You put a plan in the workings of this world. In Your wisdom You planned how everything is to function to continue each species of plant and animal. All working in harmony to go on into perpetuity.


                                                     



Then You created man to intermingle in the beauty and harmony. Now Your wisdom alone can preserve what You created. Man and his sin can sure mess it up. Bring us into alignment with Your perfect wisdom, Father. You created man in Your image and likeness. I am created in Your image and likeness. Preserve me by Your wisdom. I trust in, lean on, and rely on You.


                                                                 


Now You have shown me that as I hungered for You, as I struggled briefly in the dark, it is what many people have with no answer they know. In other countries, third world countries, they hunger and eagerly accept the Gospel. But in our nation, we have so much pride, we do not want to humble ourselves. Pride is the sin that separates us from God. He is in control; always has been; always will be. Bow down your head and your heart to Him. Lay at His feet in abject humility.; abase yourself before Him. Allow Him alone to raise you up. See Who He is above:


"When he speaks in the thunder,
      the heavens roar with rain.
   He causes the clouds to rise over the earth.
      He sends the lightning with the rain
      and releases the wind from his storehouses."


Who am I to refuse to bow before Him. Did I make myself! Did I create the wonders of this human body? What is my great accomplishment that I believe myself unable to bow before the King of Kings? You know, the One who came to earth in order that I might come to know the all powerful, all loving God for myself, and Who then died an ugly horribly painful death to pay my sin-debt. He freed me from a sin nature where I was blinded by satan and could not see the truth, where sin called and I answered. Now I have accepted Jesus gift of salvation from that sin nature, and have received Jesus’ divine nature. I see clearly and can truly know and receive my God’s love. You are so good, my Lord!


Pride will hold back many from accepting Jesus as Lord. Holy Spirit, show me the sword of the Word that will battle for these children of God. Fear of rejection; fear of being hurt again; fear of failure; fear of past mirages. FEAR is the enemy’s favorite weapon! With this whole pandemic fear is promulgated by satan. It is being fed by those seeking to control our nation.

 

Lord, this is Your country founded by those seeking to worship You. We continue to praise and bow down to You, our King of Kings, our Savior. We are thankful that You still sit on the throne!


                                                                                             


BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS

Thank You Holy Spirit as You guide us along the narrow path of Gods plan for our lives, You give us wisdom and understanding. You set us high upon a Rock (Jesus is the Rock), that we might come to know You better, see You more clearly. We want to dwell every moment in Your manifest love; Holy Spirit thank You for that is You indwelling us. Pray: Jesus You love us and Your love infuses us as we bow down before You as our King! Let it overflow from us to all we meet!   From the beginning Lord, Your love was manifest.


Psalm 139:16 (AMP)

Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.

 

God has specic plans for each of our lives.  Word becomes flesh in our lives. Spirit light is visible to the spirit man; this enfolds the mystery of our personal destiny.

 

God Creator has planned every day of our life since before we were born. His thoughts about us are more than the grains of sand. He is all knowing and all wise. God knows all about us. He is all understanding and He has seen and calculated every day of our life. God has gifted us.


Psalm 139:1-5  TPT 

 Lord, you know everything there is to know about me.
2 You perceive every movement of my heart and soul,
    and you understand my every thought before it even enters my mind.
3–4 You are so intimately aware of me, Lord.
    You read my heart like an open book
    and you know all the words I’m about to speak
    before I even start a sentence!
    You know every step I will take before my journey even begins.
5 You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way,
    and in kindness you follow behind me
    to spare me from the harm of my past.[a]
    You have laid your hand on me

 

You Lord are beyond my comprehension; my life does not belong to me. It’s God’s.  God is indeed beyond my comprehension.  My personal destiny is a mystery hidden for me, not from me.


                                         

 

 

Romans 12:2 (AMP) Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you]. [His sight for you; He knows what He has planned for you]

  


 

God knows the plans He has for our life. (Jeremiah 29:11) All the things of the past, the mistakes, the wrong choices. . . God knows and has taken them into account in His plans for our life. Where we made wrong turns ~ He just recalculates like the GPS and He will REPOSITION US.

 


God has great plans for our life. Jeremiah 29:14 (AMP)

I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will release you from captivity and gather you from all the nations and all the places to which I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back to the place from which I caused you to be carried away captive. He will restore us!

 


Ephesians 4:27 (AMP) Leave no [such] room or foothold for the devil [give no opportunity to him].Be in the right position! There is never a time when God is not moving in my life. Focus, press into Him; the forces of hell will rage on unchecked; satan will occupy important places if we are complacent.


                                                       


 Romans 8:18-21 That's why I don't think there's any comparison between the present hard times and the coming good times. The created world itself can hardly wait for what's coming next. Everything in creation is being more or less held back. God reins it in until both creation and all the creatures are ready and can be released at the same moment into the glorious times ahead. Meanwhile, the joyful anticipation deepens.


Romans 8:36-37 (MSG)

 31-39 So, what do you think? With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn't hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn't gladly and freely do for us?


And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God's chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. Do you think anyone is going to be able to drive a wedge between us and Christ's love for us? There is no way! Not trouble, not hard times, not hatred, not hunger, not homelessness, not bullying threats, not backstabbing, not even the worst sins listed in Scripture.



   

They kill us in cold blood because they hate You. 
   We're sitting ducks; they pick us off one by one.
None of this fazes us because Jesus loves us. I'm absolutely convinced that nothing—nothing living or dead, angelic or demonic, today or tomorrow, high or low, thinkable or unthinkable—absolutely nothing can get between us and God's love because of the way that Jesus our Master has embraced us.


Romans 8:36-37 (AMP)

Even as it is written, For Thy sake we are put to death all the day long; we are regarded and counted as sheep for the slaughter.  Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us.

 

No one can keep my destiny from being fulfilled. God has given us authority.

Years ago there was a comic strip called Pogo and one line from there was impactful:    "We have met the enemy and he is us." Is that not true? We can be our own worst enemy. But if we follow God's plan and His will, our life will be good. See His promises in Joshua:

 

Joshua 1:5-9 (AMP)

No man shall be able to stand before you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will not fail you or forsake you.

    6 Be strong (confident) and of good courage, for you shall cause this people to inherit the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.

    7 Only you be strong and very courageous, that you may do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you. Turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go.

    8 This Book of the Law shall not depart out of your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe and do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall deal wisely and have good success.

    9 Have not I commanded you? Be strong, vigorous, and very courageous. Be not afraid, neither be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.


                                                 

 

  Thank You Father God that You are our Father. Sometimes we need You to help us with self-discipline. Our mind tries to scatter and run all over the place when we truly just want to spend time with You. We bow before You King Jesus. You are the Lion [King] and the Lamb [Sacrifice]. You are definitely King of the heavens and the earth and we do bow before You! Oh majestic King of Kings! Let Your mighty love wash over us, infill us, infuse us, that it may spill over to all with whom we come in contact.

Reflections from 2017 

[ME: Holy Spirit, You are mine, You indwell me as my Lord and my God; You come to help me to live the life I was born to live. I’ve been looking at You with a certain exclusivity. . .yeah, like You are MINE. But I don’t own You; rather You own me. I am Yours to do with as You will. You are my God who loves me with a perfect love. I trust You. I love You too.

 

Isaiah 43:18-19 AMP      “Do not remember the former things, Or ponder the things of the past. “Listen carefully, I am about to do a new thing, Now it will spring forth; Will you not be aware of it? I will even put a road in the wilderness, Rivers in the desert.

And He brought new church leaders to us revealing Himself in new ways

 

2 Chronicles 20:6-9,15-17

“Lord, the God of our ancestors, are you not the God who is in heaven? You rule over all the kingdoms of the nations. Power and might are in your hand, and no one can withstand you. 7 Our God, did you not drive out the inhabitants of this land before your people Israel and give it forever to the descendants of Abraham your friend? 8 They have lived in it and have built in it a sanctuary for your Name, saying, 9 ‘If calamity comes upon us, whether the sword of judgment, or plague or famine, we will stand in your presence before this temple that bears your Name and will cry out to you in our distress, and you will hear us and save us.’

 

And the Lord responded: 

15-17‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s. 16 Tomorrow march down against them. They will be climbing up by the Pass of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the gorge in the Desert of Jeruel. 17 You will not have to fight this battle. Take up your positions; stand firm and see the deliverance the Lord will give you, Judah and Jerusalem. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged. Go out to face them tomorrow, and the Lord will be with you.’”


                                                                            


We remember that sometimes the battle is God’s and we must just take our positions and stand. What is our position? It is: faith entrenched within us, obedience to His Word a given, trust in God firmly in place, belief in His promises sown into the fabric of who we are. We stand staunchly in place and watch our God work.

 

 “Because His existence is first and your existence flows forth from His. That’s the flow of existence. Therefore, you must put GOD first and then let everything flow from that. Let everything begin with Him and flow forth from Him. That’s the secret of life. To not only live for Him, but to live your life from Him, to live from His living, to move from His moving, to act from His actions, to feel from His heart, to be from His being, and to become who we are from who He is… I am.”

Ye shall find that there shall be wisdom on the inside that shall rise up out of your inner most being and pervade your mind until  you’ll know the right course to take and the correct steps to make the right decision.

And ye shall be guided in all the affairs of life.


                                                                                 


For the Lord is thy guide. And He is thy portion forevermore. So bring your thinking into captivity. Every thought and let your mind be stayed on Him. And in the midst of stress and in the midst of strife when all the world around about runneth rife, ye shall live in the God life. Yea, ye shall rise up in the strength of the Lord and speak the Word of Faith, and it shall come to pass.

 

Ye shall even speak unto the heavenly messengers, even the angels and say, “Go ministering spirits.” And they shall go and minister on your behalf. For power and authority is given unto the individual member of the body of Christ. For what belongs to the whole body belongs to the least member of that body.

 

Take your place, stand your ground, and accept the challenge. Do not wait for Satan to come and challenge you. Go out to challenge him and put him on the run. For remember that it is written and this is not just a pun. But it is the holy sacred Word of the heavenly writ. Resist the Devil and he from you will flee, that is run from you as one in terror. So be not terrified, nor afraid. But put the enemy on the run. And ye shall be victorious, everyone.

GOD'S WAY

My Lord, I bow down before you this morning. I sit at Your feet. Sometimes I sits and thinks. Sometimes I sits and prays. Today I just sits.


 Strength of a warrior.  20 years ago You gave me a prophecy Lord. Yesterday You said You were giving me the “strength of a warrior” which reminded me of the prophecy. In it You said You were anointing me with wisdom; You are seeking my hands to war and my arms might brace a bow of steel; I’ve run thru the troops now showing me how to leap over the wall. You are calling me to a new level, a new place. Stretch out my faith.


 I need to be less; You must be more in me.  The more I trust You the deeper I will go with You.

“Holy Spirit, take over. Possess me.  Clothe me with Your energy.   Make me brave.

Give me the strength that defies all odds.  Supply me with Your divine wisdom, skill, and ability.

Anoint my eyes with Your vision.  Fill my mind with Your knowledge.

Move through my hands to do the very works of God.   I yield myself to You!”

 

Then I take You with me wherever I go. And I have not only Your love, but also Your mind. I can walk in Your power, for You Yourself are with me, in me, indwelling me. For what purpose? Not just to get me to heaven, salvation, but to walk as You walked this earth in the power of love; I want to take You with me into the dark places, into the minds of people harassed by satan. Lead me Holy Spirit,. Shield my mind Lord so only Your thoughts enter in; bring healing to my words and touch.

 

The Lord speaks: "You don't have to to worry how it works. You don’t have to know how the Word jumps from here and goes to the intended… you don’t have to worry. In fact I have told you before: you call, I answer. While you are yet speaking, I hear. So, before you call, I am already there. I am just waiting for the Word. My angels that I have given you, there is only one thing that they hear. They harken to the voice of My Word. So, once you have the Word in your mouth, the angels say I recognize those Words. I recognized those Words! Let me go for those Words! Praise God!"

 

Revelation 3:20 (KJV)Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice,

and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.

 

The Lord said something to me in prayer:

“You should not think of healing as you "need a healing” like when you have so and so lay hands on you and now you’re healed, kind of thing. He said, “You need to look at healing as the way I am.”



                                                             

God doesn’t live in a realm where He’s constrained by time. We only think of time because we live in the realm of time.. We try to put Him in a box by the way we think about Him. We try to put our limitations on Him. And we talk to Him like that. He doesn’t have those limitations. We think about, “How can I pray for a certain situation or event, it’s already happened.” That’s our thinking, right? Or you think of a situation that’s impossible. You think “Yeah, they’ve already made their decision and they’re not going to change their minds,” those kinds of things. You just don’t even waste your time praying for it, because you think it’s a forgone conclusion that event or situation exists now so therefore me praying is not going to make any difference.

 

That’s human thinking. That’s not God thinking. Because God doesn’t look at things the way we look at things. He’s not boxed in by time nor is He limited by our circumstances. So if you’re a prayer, you should not be limited into thinking about these things in those terms. Because if you do that, you curb yourself and you limit what God can do in your life. And you limit your prayer life and the things that happen in your life. We look and listen always for the words of Holy Spirit as we pray


Example: Holy Spirit showed me that I had a spirit of rejection in me. So I immedfiately chose to delerte it. "In the powerful name of Jesus before whom every knee must bow, I command that spirit of rejection to flee from my entire body, mind, and soul; be rooted out completely in the mighty name of Jesus! Amen!

 

Father, I am Your daughter. You created me special for a particular position in the earth in Your grand plan. I so desire to be the best me I can be with Jesus and Holy Spirit indwelling me. I submit myself to You. 


Being humble before the Lord, He responded with a Scripture to me personally ~

Ps 91:14-16 (AMP)  “Because Mary has set her love on Me, therefore I will save her I will set her [securely] on high, because she knows My name (she confidently trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never abandon her, no, never].15 “She will call upon Me, and I will answer her; will be with Mary in trouble;I will rescue her and honor her.16 “With a long life I will satisfy her”

 


Psalm 19:14 AMP Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable and pleasing in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, immovable] rock and my Redeemer. You are indeed my Rock, my Redeemer!

 

                                                                              


COME INTO GOD'S FAMILY

John 16:7 AMP  However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

 

 

Lord You have sent the Divine Encourager, The Third Person of the Holy Trinity, the Holy Spirit to us. Thank You! In essence You have come to indwell us Yourself. You are One ~ Three in One ~ so where One is, so are the other Two. You indwell us Lord God. Being Spirit, You can be in us and commune with our spirits.



So how does that affect us? We can have communication. Holy Spirit You told me that You love me, and that has affected me deeply! It demonstrates that I am individual and not just one of many. You love me, Mary, and You call me by Name. God the Father called me by Name and claimed me as His own. That happened when the diagnosis of cancer was given. Jesus, You thought of me on the cross. Your great mind captured each of us and freed us from the enemy prison by forgiving our sins; and when we choose Jesus as our King and choose to believe and follow Him, we receive God’s nature, His DNA; this changes our sin nature to God’s nature;  We actually become His sons and daughters; we are then truly of the family of God.

1:4 As translated from the Aramaic. The Greek is plural, “us.”The Greek sentence that extends from vv. 3–5 is somewhat ambiguous. It could also be read as “Through a glorious manifestation of his goodness he has imparted to us his magnificent promises.”

1:4 That is, by claiming these tremendous promises as our very own. Faith always releases the power of the Word of God.

1:4 The Greek word koinonos means “to participate as a partner, to partake of, to be a companion with, to have fellowship with” the divine nature. This is one of the great mysteries of our faith, that God shares his nature with us. We are given birth by the Holy Spirit to be God’s true sons and daughters, and every father imparts his DNA and his “nature” to his children. The Greek word physis (nature) is taken from the word phyō, which means “to give birth, produce, bring forth, or to grow up.” Christ lives in us and transforms us into his very own likeness. In Christ we share with him the divine nature. We will all bear the image of the man from heaven, Jesus Christ. See Rom. 8:9–25; 1 Cor. 15:12–57.

1:4 The Greek word apopheugō also carries the connotation of being “acquitted.”



Being of the family of God and having God’s nature means we have no more desire to sin, for we have received a divine nature. We are fundamentally changed. Now we still are also human, so we will make mistakes and commit a sin, but that sin will no longer have a hold on us; we will recognize it as sin and repent of it. As soon as we do, God forgets and forgives the sin. We are cleansed. In this process we become more like Christ step by step.

 

Our job is to spend time with God, to study the Word, since it is God’s word, thus His thoughts. We can have conversations with God during our meditation and study. This is how intimacy grows. Is it not the same when we develop friendships on earth, we get together and share our ideas and thoughts? It works that way with our God relationship as well. Seek to grow closer to our Savior, to our heavenly Father, to Holy Spirit by spending daily time with Him. There is nothing that gives greater satisfaction than a close encounter with our God.


                                                    


So. my friends, imbibe in the magnificent promises of our Creator! Choose to repent and invite Christ to come and be King of your heart! Commit to follow Him; your sins will be washed away, and Holy Spirit will come and indwell you as a Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby.

 

John 14:26 

But when the Father sends the Spirit of Holiness, the One like Me who sets you free, He will teach you all things in My name. And He will inspire you to remember every word that I’ve told you.


Being God’s child comes with all the benefits of inheritors. As we study the Scriptures, we will become familiar with the wonderful gifts we receive from our Father who loves us beyond our imagination. We are His special treasures!


                                                                  




MAMA'S FORMULA FOR SUCCESS

Religion to Love


Mama had a little frame hanging in the dining room. When she died I brought it with me to Pittsburgh - the paper in the frame now yellowed with age. It's called "Guideposts to Success." It was Mama's formula for life. This is what influenced me as a youngster. It stated, in part:

 

Go out of the way to please others.

Be determined to be kind and helpful to everyone. 
Be truthful. 
Be optimistic, no matter what comes.
Make a great effort always to give somebody a lift whenever possible.
Radiate sunshine, hope, good will.  
Scatter flowers as you go along. 
Enjoy each day. Live the present to its utmost, and do not wait for tomorrow before you begin to enjoy these things. This is what opens wide the door to happiness.


                                                                           



We really make out own happiness when we come right down to it. If you want to really be happy, go out and do something nice for somebody else. If you do it with the right purpose in mind, if you do it without expecting anything in return, if you do it because you want to do it, you'll find happiness




No doctor can prescribe a bigger better pep pill. You'll find yourself so glad, you'll find yourself so satisfied on the inside. Of course there are some folks who love being miserable. But if you want to be happy and feel good, do something kind for someone else.



There's a final item on Mama's "Guideposts to Success" list.


You must believe in the religion of love. Love for everybody, everywhere, the rich and the poor, the learned and the unlearned, the well and the afflicted. That's the religion of love. It satisfies the heart. It's deep enough for the soul, and broad enough for the whole world and everybody.


Now that's exactly what the world needs today. A religion of love.


                                         
 


The religion of love is the religion of the Lord Jesus Christ. It's not a religion you can legislate. It's not something you can force upon men and women. There is only one true religion of love, and that's the religion of the Lord Jesus Christ. This kind of love is not a natural love, it is a love God has to impart. It's inside. It's His love. Remember:



You pass through this world but once. Any kindness you can show any human being, don't defer from it. Be thankful for each day. Get out of it all the good that you can, and give as much good as you can.

EASTER IS HERE!

Easter Day comes then is gone. But the truths it contains will never “be gone”. It’s not about Easter bunnies and pretty colored eggs. It is more like Springtime and new life. Jesus came to bring new life to us. And that word “new” is not just a concept like new clothes to wear. It’s totally “new” like regenerated, new, like new life growing in the womb. When Jesus said we must be 'born again' to Nicodemus, a member of the Sanhedrin of Jesus day, he asked, “can a man climb back into the womb?”


No, but Jesus came to make us new creatures. Before Jesus, we had a sin nature which made it very difficult if not impossible to live a pure life. Adam’s betrayal of God and his resulting sin nature came down through the blood line to all of us tainting our very DNA.


When Jesus came, He first prepared us for our new life by teaching us about the Father and His magnificent love for each of us. Then He offered Himself up as the required sacrifice to pay our sin debt. He went through betrayal, scoffing, mental torment, an object of men’s hatred and scheming. Though totally innocent of any sin (His Father was not Adam, but the Holy Spirit, so He did not have Adam’s blood to infect Him). Yet He stood before human judges and submitted Himself to their scorn.


He was scourged mercilessly, tied to a pole while pieces of His flesh were torn away by the sharp nails and bone bits at the end of the whip. The Roman soldiers were pros and knew how to inflict the worst pain possible. Then Jesus’ bloody body was made to carry the tree of His crucifixion up to Golgotha outside the city.


                                                                      

  


There again they pounded nails through His wrists where all the nerves endings were, once more inflicting the most excruciating pain. Then they lifted the cross up planting it in the ground so His body hung by it’s wounded flesh. He hung for three hours during which the thick curtain in the temple that covers the MosOHoly Place was suddenly torn in two, symbolizing that now there was full access to our God. Jesus death fulfilled the many prophesies written about it in the Old Testament. The final one just before He died when He said, “I thirst”, and they wet a ‘sponge’ with sour wine and lifted it to His mouth~ 


John 19:28-30

After this, Jesus, knowing that all was now finished, said in fulfillment of the Scripture, “I am thirsty.” 29 A jar full of sour wine was placed there; so they put a sponge soaked in the sour wine on [a branch of] hyssop and held it to His mouth. 30 When Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and [voluntarily] gave up His spirit.


After suffering this horrible price to pay off our debt, Jesus rose from the dead three days later.                          

                                                            Easter Sunday!


What a joyful time! It was such a delight to His friends, and to all of us! Jesus, our Savior, has freed us from the chains of the enemy.


                                                                                          


We are free to choose Jesus’ gift of redemption and have Him live inside of us. As Lord of our life we have a helper, a teacher, a comforter as our personal guide through our lifetime. It offers us the opportunity to know our God, to develop an intimate relationship with Him, for we are made new creatures with God’s DNA; when we  repent and choose Jesus as Our King of our hearts; we are washed free from the old sin nature. We are God's kids full and complete because of what Jesus did. We have been born again truly. Our nature is changed from satan’s nature to Our Father GOD'S nature ~ we are truly reborn with Your (God's) nature, completely Your Kids!

 

So, yes Easter is the perfect time to choose our Savior as the KIng of our hearts.

Our new relationship with our God is so beautiful! We come to know Him in a one-on-one way, growing in love with Him as a response to His marvelous love for us. This enviable connection is open to us by choice. His love flows to us and through us enabling us to grow into more loving people. It is the ultimate answer to the chaos in our world today. Come my friends, I invite You to know the love of our wondrous God! You can choose now. You can have it all!


                                                                               




TOUIGH TIMES

Paul tells us: Acts 20:24

But none of these things move me; neither do I esteem my life dear to myself, if only I may finish my course with joy and the ministry which I have obtained from [which was entrusted to me by] the Lord Jesus, faithfully to attest to the good news (Gospel) of God's grace (His unmerited favor, spiritual blessing, and mercy).


    

 

Our contentment is only in our relationship with God, because when one after another problem assails us, we have only one recourse. That is our all powerful, all knowing, all loving God, One finds that our only true lasting contentment is in our relationship with the Lord. We are designed for a relationship with Him. And hard times teach us we need the Lord; hard times strengthen us!  It all belongs to God. Remember Jesus said:


 John 16:33 Amplified Bible

I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace. In the world you have tribulation and distress and suffering, but be courageous [be confident, be undaunted, be filled with joy]; I have overcome the world.” [My conquest is accomplished, My victory abiding.]



What really is church is those who are born again with God’s nature ~ a totally new nature. Only God can change you. God looks for those who have faith; the currency of heaven is faith. Do not doubt in your heart. Bible shows those who were ‘accusers of God’ like Mary and Martha when Lazarus died. . .' if You Jesus had been here, he would not have died.'

 

                                                                       


There will be crisis~when Jesus said to the apostles “we will go to the other side” and a vicious storm came up, they panicked. ‘Don’t you care that we are all about to drown?’ But if Jesus said ‘we will go to the other side of the lake”, no devil in hell, no storm could keep that from happening.

 

 

We may have crisis after crisis on our journey to our promise (ie. the Israelites journey to the promised land of milk and honey). And the same idea is also for us: We must get the force of faith into us! May the force be with you! The challenge~total abandonment. . . like Paul: 'my life is worth nothing - neither do I esteem my life dear to myself,'

 

 

Let us give our lives to our God~Redeemer. Trust Him and remember His Words like Romans 8:28

28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together for good,[a] for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.

28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

 

God has a purpose for each of our lives; and even when circumstances seem bad, God says ALL things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. Sometimes our faith testing seems unendurable, but God will put things together to bring good out of it. Have faith that His Word is true;  He will do what He says He will do.

 

 

When the storms come, focus on God and His Word. Never doubt His love for us; He cares for us and will take care of us

HOW LOVED WE ARE!!

Good morning O wondrous Lord God of all!! You are so good! You watch over us and You give us Your Word as a guarantee that You are. If someone gives their word and they are honorable, I know they will keep it. You are so much more than honorable. It is impossible for You not to keep Your Word. Thank You.


I had a dream that I was about to be attacked in the parking garage. I called on Your angels to protect me. . . using Psalm 91: If I Dwell in the secret place of the Most High and remain stable and fixed there close to You, and if I claim You as my refuge, my fortress, and trust in You, than You promise (AMP) vs. 11 For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].12 They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone. Or as Message Bible says: Evil can't get close to you, harm can't get through the door. He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go. If you stumble, they will catch you;  their job is to keep you from falling. I twisted my ankle on the stairs and they pushed me back to keep me from falling. Thank You Lord.


                                                      


You also promise in Psalm 91 when we learn to trust You, 14-16 "If you'll hold on to Me for dear life," says God, "I'll get you out of any trouble. I'll give you the best of care if you'll only get to know and trust Me. 

Call Me and I'll answer, be at your side in bad times;  I'll rescue you, then throw you a party. I'll give you a long life, give you a long drink of salvation!"
 See how much You love us, Father! You delight in making good plans for our life!!


ISAIAH 43:25, 26 I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Put Me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified. Lord You instruct us to put You in remembrance of Your promises. we do that.



Father we will continue to stand for Your complete healing for our body. A sore, thyroid, foot injury, extra weight, diabetes, any and all imperfections in physical health are healed by You; I remind You of Your promises in Your Word:: Exodus 15:26 (AMP) Saying, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord your God and will do what is right in His sight, and will listen to and obey His commandments and keep all His statutes, I will put none of the diseases upon you which I brought upon the Egyptians, for I am the Lord Who heals you.


Lord, we do diligently listen for Your voice, and  try to keep all Your commandments and statutes, and do what is right as Your Son taught us, so Lord we claim Your promise that You will put none of the disease of the Egyptians on us (What were they?) but most of all~You promise that YOU ARE OUR HEALER! We trust in You! We claim Your promise for it is in Your Word, You promise to watch over Your Word to perform it. You must be honorable, for You can be nothing else~


Jeremiah 1:11-13(AMP) Moreover, the word of the Lord came to me, saying, Jeremiah, what do you see? And I said, I see a branch or shoot of an almond tree [the emblem of alertness and activity, blossoming in late winter]. 12 Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well,

for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.


Your Word says Your Word is health to one’s whole body:

Proverbs 4:19-29 (NIV)  My son, pay attention to what I say; 
   turn your ear to my words. 
 Do not let them out of your sight, 
   keep them within your heart; 
22 for they are life to those who find them 
   and health to one’s whole body. 
23 Above all else, guard your heart, 
   for everything you do flows from it.

 

                                                                                                            



Your Word says “what You say, that You will do” whether good or bad:

 Ezekiel 12:25 (For I am the LORD! If I say it, it will happen. There will be no more delays, you rebels of Israel. I will fulfill my threat of destruction in your own lifetime. I, the Sovereign LORD, have spoken!”

 

This morning we claim Your Word over our lives. knowing You will perform Your Word just as You promised. Thank You for Your watchful care over us.

Psalm 32:8 (NLT) The LORD says, 
“I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. 
      I will advise you and watch over you.

 

Isaiah 27:2-3 (AMP)

In that day [it will be said of the redeemed nation of Israel], A vineyard beloved and lovely; sing a responsive song to it and about it!

I, the Lord, am its Keeper; I water it every moment; lest anyone harm it, I guard and keep it night and day.

 

Thank You Lord! You love us so much! You guide us along the best pathway for our life, and YOU are our advisor! YOU watch over us. And we are in Your garden, Your vineyard as Israel is and as the redeemed are. You are our KEEPER. You watch over us every moment; You will let none harm us as You watch over us night and day. You love us. Thank You!!


You are overwhelming us with Your love! I am exstatic being in the Presence of Your love, the pouring out, the over abundance of it!  In MSG Bible it says in Ephesians 1:7-10 Because of the sacrifice of the Messiah, His blood poured out on the altar of the Cross, we're a free people—free of penalties and punishments chalked up by all our misdeeds. And not just barely free, either. Abundantly free! He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans he took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth.


You delighted in making a good plan for our lives. You were grinning as you made it, because You saw us walking out the plan and the enjoyment we would get from it. You love us and bless us every day! Thank You Father!


                                                                                         


LOVE OVER HATE?

My friends

WE are called to love; to have unity, yet in our present culture the enemy has created an atmosphere of cold hearted hate, of separation. Do not blame politics, for this is a spiritual battle; it is the work of satan using politics as a tool to create a black mold in the hearts of people. Christ died to bring us peace and love, and if we are Christ followers, that is what we must allow to grow in our souls.

 

Christ has gifted us with the Holy Spirit to indwell us, and so with His power in us we are able to overcome the evil atmosphere created by the devil. God never abandons us, nor gives us more than we can handle. He Himself gives us His strength to fight the enemy. He fills us with His love ~ if we choose to obey Him. It is our choice. He instructs us:

 

Colossians 3:12 NIV

Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience

 

Romans 12:16-21 (MSG)

14-16 Bless your enemies; no cursing under your breath. Laugh with your happy friends when they’re happy; share tears when they’re down. Get along with each other; don’t be stuck-up. Make friends with nobodies; don’t be the great somebody.

 

17-19 Don’t hit back; discover beauty in everyone. If you’ve got it in you, get along with everybody. Don’t insist on getting even; that’s not for you to do. “I’ll do the judging,” says God. “I’ll take care of it.”

 

20-21 Our Scriptures tell us that if you see your enemy hungry, go buy that person lunch, or if he’s thirsty, get him a drink. Your generosity will surprise him with goodness. Don’t let evil get the best of you; get the best of evil by doing good!


                                                                                   


We praise our God for the wonder of Who He is:

He is mighty and glorious; the power in a great storm, the crack of flashing lightning power, voice the thunderous roar! The force of the wind ~ the power of the Holy Spirit. It’s why I love a storm~its filled with You; it draws me.


                                                          



You, God, are worthy of all praise and honor and worship! You mighty Lord created the creatures in the waters and on the land. You used Your creative abilities to make beauty like the leopard running, the horse standing tall on a hill, like a giraffe grazing from the top of a tree. You created huge  ~ like a whale breaking the ocean surface and crashing down before descending into the deep again, on land the elephant with his long nose and big ears. You made graceful like a gazelle flying across a meadow or a dolphin doing a dance with its mate. Then you gifted them to us. You have all this creativity and You created humans. . . You wanted creatures with minds and souls and spirits that were aware of You and could converse with You and come to deeply know You. You created us to know You and to love You.

 

You. O Lord are LOVE. And that is the answer to our situation in this nation. To fight against the enemy, who is hatred, we need love. Act love, talk love, write love, spread love in our little section of the world, and gather together other Christ followers to also do the same. Let us spread love-talk across the world. There is no other way to have victory in this war against evil.




                                                              


My Friends, I may have iindicated that it is an easy thing to do; however, I do not find it a simple step. It takes intense prayer and a commitment to the Lord to desire His will, and to see that His WORD IS TRUTH. He does help by giving us His indwelling  Holy Spirit to help us understand and "see" His power at work here. And remember, all things are possible: So if you have been caught up in satan's anger and hatred, first know that it is evil's trap and is ungodly

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With people [as far as it depends on them] it is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”


                                                       


WAY TO PRAY

My friends, who has prayed a prayer and it has not been answered? God asks when the end comes will there be persistence in faith on the earth? Well here is one persons thoughts on answered prayer:

 

The Prayer Secret of Praying for Results

 ISAIAH 43:25, 26 I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and will not remember thy sins. Put Me in remembrance: let us plead together: declare thou, that thou mayest be justified.


Notice that God said, "Put Me in remembrance." Those who have been mighty in prayer have always been those who reminded God of His promises and brought His Word before Him. So, have we been doing that?


Charles Finney is probably the most outstanding exponent of prayer. He is known as the man who prayed down revivals. He has the greatest success, and his converts were the most consistent since the days of the Apostle Paul. It is common knowledge that eighty-five percent of his converts remained true to God.



D. L. Moody was a great evangelist, but only about fifty percent of his converts remained faithful. We have had a mighty move over the past several years, but it is common knowledge that not more than fifty percent of the converts have remained true to the Lord. Finney had the greatest success numbers' wise as far as keeping the fruit of his labor, since the days of the Apostle Paul - whole cities were stirred.


                                                 



For instance, I read in Finney's autobiography that in 1829 he went to the city of Rochester, New York, where he conducted a meeting and practically everyone in town was saved. All the grog shops closed down. (We now call them honky-tonks and beer joints.) There was not a place left in town where one could buy anything to drink. The only theater in town closed down. There was such a revival that when a circus came to town, only two people went to see it, so it had closed. Everyone was interested in God. The revival was on. The people were just not concerned about anything else.


I also read that Finney went to hold another meeting when he was a Presbyterian. He had been talking about fifteen minutes when the power of God fell on him. About four hundred people fell off their seats onto the floor, and it was a Presbyterian church! He didn't know what was happening, but he said that he found out later they had all been sinners and had just gotten saved when they fell under the power. Finney prayed for revival. He was a real man of prayer. He said that he had some experiences in prayer that indeed alarmed him. He added that he found himself saying to the Lord, "Lord, You don't think that we are not going to have revival here, do You? You don't think that You could withhold Your blessing?" He found himself reminding the Lord what He had promised....

 

 Smith Wigglesworth said that God delights in His children having the audacity of faith to say, "God, You have promised it, so now do it." You say that in faith". This agrees with what God says, for God said, "Put Me in remembrance." They were putting Him in remembrance of what He said. If God wants us to put Him in remembrance, then let's do it. Isaiah 43:26 said it.

  

Prayed...

By faith we stand on the written Word of God - it is true!

Today we take our place of authority and call things that are not as though they are

We speak wholeness, health, and change of heart to the broken hearted

Declaring peace over them and covering them in the Blood of Jesus

 

God has a plan for you!

We pray over political positions of authority

Every office covered in the Blood of Jesus

The Blood covering every state

Lifting up specific locations in America


   




There will be ministries in every state that will be lifted up and others that will be brought down

How often do we do that in prayer? We know God is faithful. We know He loves us, so if He wrote that we should put Him in remembrance, then that is what He meant. So let us pray with audacity and remind God of His promises.


                                                       

 

 


LIVING BREAD

There is  one verse in Scripture that offended many of Jesis' disciples. It puzzles me too. So I
decided to check it out:
  
Scripture Focus..


I am the Bread of Life [that gives life--the Living Bread]. (49) Your forefathers ate the manna in the wilderness, and [yet] they died. (50) [But] this is the Bread that comes down from heaven, so that [any]one may eat of it and never die. (51) I [Myself] am this Living Bread that came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this Bread, he will live forever; and also the Bread that I shall give for the life of the world is My flesh (body).

See what I mean?

 Then the Jews angrily contended with one another, saying, How is He able to give us His flesh to eat? (53) And Jesus said to them, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, you cannot have any life in you unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood [unless you appropriate His life and the saving merit of His blood]. (54) He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood has (possesses now) eternal life, and I will raise him up [from the dead] on the last day.

Here Jesus emphacizes it even more.

 

(55) For My flesh is true and genuine food, and My blood is true and genuine drink. (56) He who feeds on My flesh and drinks My blood dwells continually in Me, and I [in like manner dwell continually] in him. (57) Just as the living Father sent Me and I live by (through, because of) the Father, even so whoever continues to feed on Me [whoever takes Me for his food and is nourished by Me] shall [in his turn] live through and because of Me. (5 This is the Bread that came down from heaven. It is not like the manna which our forefathers ate, and yet died; he who takes this Bread for his food shall live forever.


Let us look at another translation and see how it words this concept:

 John 6:53-60 The Passion Translation (TPT)

53 Jesus replied to them, “Listen to this eternal truth: Unless you eat the body of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you will not have eternal life. 54 Eternal life comes to the one who eats my body[a] and drinks my blood, and I will raise him up in the last day. 55 For my body is real food for your spirit and my blood is real drink. 56 The one who eats my body and drinks my blood lives in me and I live in him.[b] 57 The Father of life sent me, and he is my life. In the same way, the one who feeds upon me, I will become his life. 58 I am not like the bread your ancestors ate and later died. I am the living Bread that comes from heaven. Eat this Bread and you will live forever!”

59 Jesus preached this sermon in the synagogue in Capernaum.

 

Many Disciples Became Offended   60 And when many of Jesus’ followers heard these things, it caused a stir. “That’s disgusting!” they said. “How could anybody accept it?”[c]


How do the FOOTNOTES explain it?

 Footnotes:

6:54 To eat his flesh is to take into our life by faith all that Jesus did for us by giving his body for us. To drink his blood is to take by faith all that the blood of Jesus has purchased for us. This “eating” and “drinking” is receiving the life, power, and virtue of all that Jesus is to replace all that we were in Adam. Jesus’ blood and body is the Tree of Life, which is offered to everyone who follows him.

 

6:56 The Aramaic is “He that eats my body and drinks my blood is strengthened in me and I in him.”

6:60 Jesus knew that these words were offending the religious Jews. To eat flesh that was not kosher was a violation of the law; how much more so to eat human flesh. Drinking blood of any kind was also forbidden (Lev. 17:11–12). The imagery is similar to Ezekiel who “ate the scroll” (of the Word, Ezek. 3:1–15).

 (64) But [still] some of you fail to believe and trust and have faith. For Jesus knew from the first who did not believe and had no faith and who would betray Him and be false to Him. (65) And He said, This is why I told you that no one can come to Me unless it is granted him [unless he is enabled to do so] by the Father.


(66) After this, many of His disciples drew back (returned to their old associations) and no longer accompanied Him. But bthe apostles were trusting Jesus 


(67) Jesus said to the Twelve, Will you also go away? [And do you too desire to leave Me?] (6 Simon Peter answered, Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words (the message) of eternal life.

Paul encourages us to focus on the true goal in life:


Philippians 3:12-16 (MSG)  Focused on the Goal

12-14 I’m not saying that I have this all together, that I have it made. But I am well on my way, reaching out for Christ, who has so wondrously reached out for me. Friends, don’t get me wrong: By no means do I count myself an expert in all of this, but I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.

This determined attitude of Paul should also be ours!


15-16 So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.

Christ's Commendation And Correction to the Church of Ephesus

Years of Christian service can so consume the minds and strength of believers that through the passage of time, they can forget the great work of grace that gave them new life. The ingoing, unrelenting work of ministry can reduce what was once fresh and fervent into monotonous, religious routine. Memories of coming to Christ become buried beneath an overgrowth of religious activity until spiritual weeds choke out the gratitude and joy that were once the hallmark of a passionate intimacy with Christ.



Despite its veritable roster of high-profile Christians and an impressive list of accomplishments to its credit, the church of Ephesus was "fallen" in Jesus's eyes. Unintentionally, the believers had drifted from their once-characteristic fire and zeal from the Lord. Sophisticated and impressive in size, influence, and governance, this congregation needed to dig deep to remember from whence they had fallen and repent in order to regain God's approval and retain their stature before Him.


Practical Applications


...Spiritual backsliding occurs when believers lose their focus on Jesus and become preoccupied with other things - including the work of the ministry. A loss of joy in service indicates a lack of intimacy with the Savior and a dire need to return to the fervor of love and heartfelt devotion they experienced when they first repented and yielded to Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. 


Recently, I have begun to feel the loss of joy,  and this reading hit home for me.It's time for me to go back and regain my intimacy, that I never believed I would lose; but alas I have allowed other things to interrupt my relationship with my Savior. I repent Lord; please restore our relationship as I vow to spend more time with You. Thank You my Lord for Your mercy!


                                                                           


The following word was previously given by Kenneth E. Hagin by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit:  

Never allow the least bit of resentment or ill will, or bad feelings, but walk on. Walk on in love. Walk on in power. Walk on in the Spirit. Walk on with the Lord, and He'll come unto thee and manifest Himself unto thee."

 

"And it is even written in the Holy Scriptures that His coming unto us shall be as the rain. And so the Holy Ghost will fall, and the power of God will be in manifestation, and great shall be the reward thereof. And many shall be blessed,
and great and good days stand just ahead. Walk on. 

Yea, ye shall see, for the glory of the Lord shall appear unto thee. But most will move with the Spirit, and all will acknowledge, 'There are miracles happening over there. I guess God just saw fit to have mercy on them.'"



"But no, they saw fit to flow with God. And they saw fit to go with God. And His glory will fill that temple. Many will say, 'I just don't go along with those things. We have a pretty good church here. God has put His approval upon us.'"

 

"But yea," saith the Lord of Hosts, "I only put my approval upon that which lines up with my Word. Get into the Word and let the Spirit open the Word to you. Not only unto your mind, but get the revelation of it in your spirit. And your spirit will be more alive unto the things of God. And He - through your spirit - will be able to teach you, and admonish you, and direct you.

 


My Lord God, You are the lover of my soul. My mind, will and emotions were given to me by You. You understand them and You expect them to focus on You, to love You, to worship You along with my spirit. I shall determine that it shall be so. You are the holy One, the great all-knowing One, the Highest of the High, the most glorious One. You are my God! Before You I bow my head representing my body and my mind, I bow my will, I place my emotions under You.

 


You are all powerful! And I am under Your protection! I live in Your divine health. For You have said in Your Word that You are my healer; You have said You watch over Your Word to perform it; You have said You are not a man that You should lie nor the son of man that You should change Your mind; You have said, by Jesus’s stripes I was healed. I claim these Scripture promises over my body today. Thank You Lord for a body that once again lives in Your divine health.


I lift You up and proclaim Your glory! I love You!

 

Joel 2:10-13 (AMP)

The earth quakes before them; the heavens tremble. The sun and the moon are darkened and the stars withdraw their shining.

11 And the Lord utters His voice before His army, for His host is very great, and [they are] strong and powerful who execute [God's] word. For the day of the Lord is great and very terrible, and who can endure it?

Therefore also now, says the Lord, turn and keep on coming to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning [until every hindrance is removed and the broken fellowship is restored].

UNITE TO THE VINE

John 15:1-10 (MSG)

 1-3 "I am the Real Vine and my Father is the Farmer. He cuts off every branch of me that doesn't bear grapes. And every branch that is grape-bearing he prunes back so it will bear even more. You are already pruned back by the message I have spoken.

 

 4"Live in me. Make your home in Me just as I do in you. In the same way that a branch can't bear grapes by itself but only by being joined to the vine, you can't bear fruit unless you are joined with Me.

 

5-8"I am the Vine, you are the branches. When you're joined with Me and I with you, the relation intimate and organic, the harvest is sure to be abundant. Separated, you can't produce a thing. Anyone who separates from me is deadwood, gathered up and thrown on the bonfire.

 

But if you make yourselves at home with Me and my words are at home in you, you can be sure that whatever you ask will be listened to and acted upon. This is how my Father shows who He is—when you produce grapes, when you mature as my disciples.

 

 9-10"I've loved you the way my Father has loved me. Make yourselves at home in my love. If you keep my commands, you'll remain intimately at home in my love. That's what I've done—kept my Father's commands and made myself at home in his love.

Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you.

So You are telling us: When we live intimately united to You, Jesus, just as a branch is intimately and organically united to the tree~attached with sap flowing from the tree into the branch giving it life and thus the ability to bear fruit; when we live that closely and intimately united to You the / my harvest will be plentiful.

 

Wow! I want to live that way with You; Jesus come live that intimately in me! Let the virtue that flows from You be also in us. Help us here Jesus. Organically~cell to cell connection. When a vine master implants a branch from one vine to another, the virtues of the two are mixed together. As Father God connects our branches to You as the vine, we become brand new. Your essence flows into us changing us to be more like You. As we accept You and become obedient to Your word, we accept the flow of You into us changing us to be like You~same DNA, Divine DNA. You live in us, not imprisoned in us, but allowing us to partake of Who You are, as we become like You, You call us to be You to the world.

 

You told us as we absorbed Your Word into ourselves~You are the Word [John1]~we are absorbing You into us.[ “you are what you eat”]  we become Jesus through eating His Word~digesting it into our soul and spirit. So as we meditate on Your Word and digest it, absorb it, we are becoming more like You one Scripture at a time. Then we live out the Scripture and fruit is produced.

 

                        


Good morning God. You are the ultimate. You are in the farthest reaches of the universe, yes Your presence is seen there. You are in the deepest depth within me~yes Your creation is seen there. You are everywhere and You know all things. You are the alpha and the omega~beginning and end. I can go nowhere without Your presence. I bow down to Your greatness! I thank You for Your guidance in me as I stay connected to You, Jesus, through the Holy Spirit, You show me the path, the way to go each day. You clear the way. Thank You Lord for Your showing us 'the way'.

 

                                                                                                                   


BUILDING FAITH

Thank You all powerful God for giving us teachers! I'd like to share a word from one:


The following excerpt is taken from How To Turn Your Faith Loose by Kenneth E. Hagin:  

 Right Confession - Door to the Supernatural 

 

The Bible contains God's thoughts - and, of course, God's thoughts are different from man's. In the Bible God says :

Isaiah 55:8-9 

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. (9) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.

 

 You may not always understand everything the Bible says with your natural mind, because your mind hasn't been renewed - but the Word still works. It works by saying, or it works by praying.  

 

In Mark 11:22 we read, "...Have faith in God" (or have the God-kind of faith). And in the 23rd and 24th verses we read, "For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall SAY. . . and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall BELIEVE...What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, BELIEVE that ye receive them, and ye shall have them."  

 

The Amplified Bible reads, "For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe (trust and be confident) that it is granted to you, and you will [get it]."  

 

The greatest things that will ever happen to you will be when you move into the spiritual realm. There is a spiritual realm to enter into....  

The Lord once said to me, "So many have barely touched that spiritual realm, You enter into it briefly in being filled with the Spirit and speaking with tongues. Why not enter on into it? Yea, go on out, even into the deep things of Mine. For surely your every desire shall be granted, and the fullness of God shall be yours to enjoy."...  

 

...Don't confess your doubts. You don't have any more business having doubts than you do having dope! Doubt is just as evil as dope, and if it's evil, we haven't got any business having it. Doubt is contraband goods. Doubt is of the devil.  

 

Many people think they are just being honest when they confess that they are afraid or that they doubt. But if you are saved, you need not be full of doubt. Start confessing who you are in Christ. You are a believer - a new creature. Talk that, believe that, think that.

But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart.
 Believe without the encumbrance of any doubt; believe with surety [the state of being sure or certain of something]. Guarantee, absolute surety of belief! Know that I know Your Word is true God. You watch over Your Word to perform it. You are not a man that You should lie, nor the son of man that You should change Your mind. What You say, that You will do! I do believe with all that I am, that You are God, You are all powerful; You love me; Your Word is truth; You shall do what Your Word says You will do!!

 

Lord, You are the God of Love.
Your sweetness makes me smile. I want 2021 to be about getting immersed in You, absorbed in You my Holy God! I desire a full revelation of You Jesus, to truly know You, that my heart sings in joy every time we speak and come together. Help me this morning to become identified with/as You, Jesus. Holy Spirit of Jesus You are the part of Jesus that is Spirit. As I have a spirit soul and body, You Jesus lived as a man here on earth, so You had a physical body, a soul and a spirit ~ only Your spirit is Holy Spirit. As my spirit is an integral part of who I am, Holy Spirit is an integral part of Who You are. You have enabled Your Holy Spirit ~being spirit~ to inhabit us, to help us, to lead and guide and teach us~to go on continuing Your message that you started long ago. So that sweet spirit of love I began to feel the other day, Holy Spirit, comes from You, Jesus. The Father, You and Holy Spirit are One. You Who love me so sweetly Jesus. Holy Spirit, help me go deeper in Jesus.

 

 

MASTER OF LIFE

   You are our Father Who reigns supreme over everything. You are love. You love us as Your children ~ tenderly, softly, closely, with laughter enjoying our desire to please You. You are the source of all power! And that power is exhibited in a small amount in the earth. The wind seems to have been roaring all night. But even greater power is seen in tornadoes that bring an unimaginable force that can drive a toothbrush through a telephone pole. Or one can see hurricanes that seem to boil the seas like a gigantic caldron. With Your power You raise the dead back to life. You are the Creator, You are the Master of Life!



You bring joy to life. I saw my Mom dance in a beautiful meadow when death freed her from an Alzheimer ravaged body. Her music and happiness was a ballet of freedom and joy. Even in sorrow, it made my heart smile.

                                                              

 

When Dad took a long time to die at the end of his life, You gave me a vision and a reason when I asked “why?”. The reason was pride. . . You asked me, “When was the last time you saw your father bow down to anyone?”. Then You gave me the vision of Dad dressed in a white robe, down on one knee, bowing before Jesus as a knight bows before his king. You give us joy even in death. Even before Dad died, Teri saw an angel in his room. You sent Your angel servants to guard him in his last hours.

                                                        


You are good! My Father thank You for so many blessings! Even in times of sorrow You know how to bring solace to our souls.

A POSITIVE VIEW

Time has speeded up, and holidays race by. Each year is a look at, “What’s next Lord?” The year 2020 ended with a feeling of relief for many. As time flew by, a deeper more serious note entered in. The old year was gone never to return, and a new year began. But many do not feel there is  necessarily a hope for better in 2021. However, we usually get what we expect, so keeping a positive expectation is a necessary step. We serve a good God, and He loves us, so with His hand upon us, we are able to hold on to affirmative thoughts.

 


Visions for life and new goals setting became an important note. Truthfully I do not recall the goals I set at midnight any year. What became important was to have goals and visions and live life to bring them forth. A God centered life will be an encouragement to keep us on the right track in achieving those dreams.

 

The passing of many midnights have brought my husband and I into the golden years~and they really are. I have a husband who loves me dearly and enjoys taking care of me. At the same time I treasure him and like doing the many little things I can to make him laugh and enjoy our life together. God is good and He blesses us. We also set goals for ourselves individually and together. God is a main focus for us. We know Him and thank Him for His teachings and His care. Hand and hand we walk our path together with our Lord through the years as they come and go. Picture our silhouettes walking into the sunset, or picture that hand in hand silhouette walking away from the morning sunrise~with lots of life to live yet and much to accomplish.


                                                               

 

Thank You Holy One! Beautiful Holy Spirit, yes You are beautiful. I cannot picture You, as You are spirit, but my spirit sense sees how beautiful You truly are. You have the beauty of the smile of a child’s innocence, the freshness of new rain on a thirsty earth, the gentleness of a Father’s loving touch upon His child, the playfulness of a puppy, beauty of a horse running all out in pure joy, and the power of fire to warm or remove. Holy Spirit You are so lovely to experience! You love me Holy Spirit! That is like a new revelation to me! I sense Your love. The essence of who You are is love. Thank You Holy Spirit for this new revelation. :) I sense Your Presence around me; please stay with me like this throughout the day, throughout eternity.


                                                                                 


DEPTH 4: GOLDON GLOBES

Here I am at the bottom of the sea with Jesus and the Treasure chest. It’s been a somewhat exhausting swim, but valuable in growth and learning! Now the goal is within reach. The front of the chest has a buckle holding it shut tight. Releasing this, and already escaping from opening cracks is a bright golden light. Gently lifting the lid, amazement fills my soul. What is contained inside looks like parchment encased in translucent golden balls.

 

                                            

 

Touching one golden globe sends an electric sensation through my fingers. A vision fills my mind. A person I know with a fiery wound in her chest. Tell me Lord, is that physical or emotional? “Mary, Holy Spirit will lead you; go to Him; He will reveal to you why she is the one who needs prayers. His love flows as He downloads other details of the situation.” My prayers will be a lifesaving moment, a healing touch of the Father for her. What a wonderful privilege to work with the power of God to help people and bring His love and salvation to them.


                                           

 

Eyes closed, I meditate on the Holy Spirit asking for Him to pray through my mouth. Each golden globe contains a plan, a task for me to perform, each laid out along a path. This is the supernatural strategy of God for my life, an objective of purpose and power. Raising with the globes through the sea, my head crests the surface, and I eagerly watch the globes movements; some are settling like buoys, and others moving toward land. I try to keep eyes on them, but their speed is beyond my ability to follow. Lord now what? Smiling, Jesus looks tenderly and reminds me to trust. “All things will come to you at the proper time.  Everything My Father has for you, you will find. Fear not!”


Jeremiah 29:11 (NLV)

11 For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord,

‘plans for well-being and not for trouble,

to give you a future and a hope.

 

 I have found the heart of God, the love for His children and His will for my life. He has assigned me the task of bringing His Word of healing and love to teach His children how to come into relationship with Him. Whispered words fill my spirit:

 

“Mary you have found your desire. Your seeking has pleased Me. As you walk your journey I will lead and guide you to the places and people who are your assignments. Trust in Me. As you travel I will draw closer to you, and you will live in my Presence. I am your ever present help.”

 

                                                                                                            


Psalm 46 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.

DEPTH 3 MORE CHALLENGES

Depth 3

Rest time over; the journey to find the treasure is renewed. Continuing to swim has become more difficult, for my body is weary from its struggles. “Jesus, I am really getting tired.” He responds, “So you want to stop?” Again I realized this was a defining moment. Do I have the determination to continue? Is my will committed enough to pursue this journey through exhaustion to the end? Am I passionate enough about finding the heart of God to push through the fatigue?


                                                      


Closing my eyes I looked into my own heart, for we cannot know the heart of God if we do not know our own heart. There I found a desperate desire to know my Lord and my God at a deeper level, to push our relationship to a farther depth. “Jesus, let’s continue” I respond.

 

Then the thrill hits as in the distance I see a treasure box! Yes, just like a pirate’s treasure box holding lots of golden coins. Wow! Extra energy empowers my body to move more swiftly through the water until I see large shadows swimming around it. Ok. I never even considered sharks and other dangers lurking in the darkness at this level. Jesus, what will we do now? I hear no response, though I know He is near. Looking around, I see His eyes peering at me, but no words; it’s up to me.

 

Pondering what I know to be true, I search my memory for an answer. There is the treasure chest which holds answers my heart deeply desires. But the bodyguards of the chest are formidable, and wisdom is required here. Check the Word. . .

 

Psalm 19:11-14 (MSG)

There’s more: God’s Word warns us of danger

    and directs us to hidden treasure.

Otherwise how will we find our way?

    Or know when we play the fool?

Clean the slate, God, so we can start the day fresh!


 

Psalm 55:16-19 (MSG)

I call to God;

    God will help me.

At dusk, dawn, and noon I sigh

    deep sighs—he hears, he rescues.

My life is well and whole, secure

    in the middle of danger

Even while thousands

    are lined up against me.

God hears it all, and from his judge’s bench

    puts them in their place.

But, set in their ways, they won’t change;

    they pay him no mind.

 

Psalm 55:16 (AMP)

16 As for me, I will call upon God, and the Lord will save me.

 

Jesus, Your Word says if I call upon my God, He will save me. It says my life is secure in the middle of danger. I have the authority to command the truth of the Word to take place against my enemy. I am secure in His hands, in Your hands Jesus. Let us go and secure the treasure. With firm conviction I take the lead to the chest, and reaching it I give praise to my God for His wonderful goodness. The dark shapes keep their distance. I am protected.

SEARCHING FOR A CLOSER WALK WITH GOD

 DIGGING DEEPER

Sometimes the terrible awesomeness of God hits me and sends me reeling into deep meditation. It always carries its reward of a new closeness with my God. It happened this morning. In the beginning I was distracted with my mind wandering here and yon. Then I ‘woke up’ and commanded it to return. God is so good! Holy Spirit began to lead me in prayer.

Sorry, my Lord. I come to our meeting this morning with scattered thoughts; help me, Lord, to rein them in. That You even desire to meet with me is so amazing! Deep breath. Moses asked God, “what shall I say when they ask 'Who sent me’?” You responded, “Say the Great I AM sent me.” You, God, are not hemmed in by time. For You there is no ‘was, will be’, there is only I AM. Before You I bow down my heart, my 'who I am' I submit to You; help me become who You created me to be.


Exodus 3:13-14 (AMP)

13 And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? 14 And God said to Moses, I Am Who I Am and What I Am, and I Will Be What I Will Be; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I Am has sent me to you!

Can you feel the depth of that name? 'I AM' signifies so much ~ timelessness, absolute love, supreme power, unimaginable expansion ~ an incomprehensible being, totally surrounding. There simply are not words to express the grandness of Who our God is. HIS LOVE FOR US  S SO APPARENT IN HIS WORD!


Psalm 91:14 (AMP)

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness—trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

Isaiah 52:6 (AMP)

Therefore My people shall know what My name is and what it means; therefore they shall know in that day that I am He who speaks; behold, I Am!

Indeed my God! You are the great I AM! This measures so deep and so high and so wide. You revealed Your staggering magnificence to David, and it comes out here:


Psalm 139:1-10

O Lord, you have examined my heart

and know everything about me.

2 You know when I sit down or stand up.

You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Even when it’s my mind traveling on tangents.

3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home.

You know everything I do.

4 You know what I am going to say

even before I say it, Lord.

5 You go before me and follow me.

You place your hand of blessing on my head.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too great for me to understand!

7 I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from your presence!

8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;

if I go down to the grave, you are there.

9 If I ride the wings of the morning,

if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

10 even there your hand will guide me,

and your strength will support me.

You are always with me. 

You will guide me.

You will always be my support. Your strength

upholds me, protects me, supports me.


Lord, You are so good! What a privilege to know You! Thank You that You continue to grow me closer to You. Thank You! I love being together with You, my Lord.
