The famous 'burning bush' of the Bible caused Moses to change his focus from the sheep, for the bush was burning but not consumed.  Reinhard Bonnke uses this strange phenomenon as an example of what our churches should be today.

Taking Action by Reinhard Bonnke;” "he founded a minietry called Christ for All Nations, becoming the inspiring visionary who always spoke of “plundering hell to populate heaven,” a dedicated preacher who saw “signs following” as the necessary evidence of the power of the Gospel to save, heal, and deliver.   He is credited with millions of salvations!
This is a writing by him.

If a church at least burns for God, it will attract notice. When churches are models of decency, decorum, conformity, and correctness, nobody says, “I will now turn aside and see this great sight”     (Purple colored print are Bonnke's words)

It’s true is it not? A big fire gathers everyone’s attention The same is true when there is a spiritual blaze, people stop and stare and often are hungry to be in closer commune with God.

(Exodus 3:1-3 (NIV)        Moses and the Burning Bush

3 Now Moses was tending the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian, and he led the flock to the far side of the wilderness and came to Horeb, the mountain of God. 2 There the angel of the Lord appeared to him in flames of fire from within a bush. Moses saw that though the bush was on fire it did not burn up. 3 So Moses thought, “I will go over and see this strange sight—why the bush does not burn up.”;)

Bushes should not burn, and many supposed churches should not burn either! If they do, somebody will look for a fire extinguisher. A church that burns is not normal. It is spectacular, and people stop to look. Some who stop will be like Moses and hear the voice of God, though others will be deaf. However, that is where God separates the people of the past from the people of the future.

The past spelled Egypt, bondage. The fire spelled freedom, adventure, and life. People are not seeking perfection but fire, warmth, and passion. Churches may look opulent, popular, and, successful, but I think of Peter and John. They had to confess, “Silver or gold I do not have” (Acts 3:6). They were both too shabby to attract admiration, but they could continue, “But what I do have I give you: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, rise up and walk.” They did not have any cash, but they did have God.

Fire made the bush the most famous bush that ever grew. Only Moses saw it, but nobody can forget it. Fire made it what it was, and it made Moses who he was. He was learned in all the wisdom of Egypt, but for all that he would have died a nobody, a dusty mummy in Egypt.

Yet he met the God of fire in the wilderness, and he matters today very much. Similarly, the disciples were unknowns, fishing workers, until the tongues of flame rested upon them, and soon they had turned the world upside down. They did not know themselves until the fire transformed them. Their fervor brought them persecution and plenty of verbal abuse, but they are remembered and their persecutors are lost in oblivion. If any preacher hopes to be noted and remembered, let him be a burning bush.

The divided tongues brought an end to division. Even when they were following Jesus, the disciples vied with one another to see who should be greatest. After Pentecost, however, we read that they “devoted themselves… to the fellowship… All the believers were together and had everything in common… They broke bread in their homes and ate together” (Acts 2:42-46, NIV).

One fire was divided into many flames, yet each was the fire of God. They did not need two flames for double power. Those divided flames created a new breed of men-not clones of one another but one new race, a new people. One flame represented the entire fire of God. Andrew’s flame burned with a different color than James’s fire. John was still John, but he became a flame called John. Thomas became an on-fire Thomas. Flame people! People who have dwelt with the everlasting burnings cannot stand smoldering smoke. The disciples were called when they were like black candlewicks, but the love of Christ lit them. Candles in a box, tossed to the corner- but taken out and set alight, they lit up the world!

Adam and Eve are gone. Their ways are the past. We have a new covenat now with our mighty Lord God! He is the God who calls us precious children! He is the One who indwells us! We are the NEW! Let us pray:  O come Holy Spirit and light my soul on fire! We are ready to obey Your will and be who You created us to be!

The church is here to stay; the power of the Holy Ghost is working to a greater degree in these days, for these are days of great change, and these are days where mysteries will begin to be revealed like never before, and hidden things will become greatly known all over the earth, and what the enemy meant for evil, will be completely destroyed and turned around and used for the Lord’s own good!

Reinhard Bonnke was a great man of God! He has the same message that I have found in the last weeks … if you have been following these blogs. We are called to the flames of the Holy Spirit. . . remember Jeremiah spoke of fire shut up in his bones?

 Jeremiah 20:9 (AMP)
If I say, “I will not remember Him
Or speak His name anymore." Then my heart becomes a burning fire
 shut up in my bones.
 And I am weary of enduring and holding it in;
I cannot endure it [nor contain it any longer].

He could not help but speak the Words of God. They became a fire in his bones, and he could not hold the Words back; they had to come out; Is that not the way it should be with us? If we speak the full truth? Time is running out and there are many who need to be saved. Holy Spirit calls us; His flame is lighting the coals of our desire to follow God and His ways! Speak truth. Let our churches speak God’s Word in fullness, so all can come to believe Jesus and His Gospel. Let our churches be a raging fire to lead the way to salvation and peace and power. One match can set a forest on fire. It's the power of one. Reinhard Bonnke was one man, yet millions came to know Jesus through him.

How many have come to know God through you and me?

Dear Friends, There was a great sharing by the GLOBAL PRAYER ALERT NETWORK posted on May 18th  that fits in with our study of  what this Pandemic season all about. We know it is a spiritual time where God is revealing mysteries. We've found in Rees' INTERCESSION that the Holy Spirit is becoming more active in our lives and in our world. Now lets look at this sharing: This blog shows prophecies from GPAN that God has spoken:

Pastor Ray shared a Word of the Lord:

My ways are not the ways of man, the same each day, thought through and pre-planned. But just as grace is new each day, I’ll lead you in the way to pray. Don’t be shocked at what I’ll do, it just may be all new to you.

Don’t get used to what you know. There’s too much comfort there to flow. Be free from you and go with Me where mountains are moved spiritually. Command and send and prophesy—let your word rise and fill the sky.

Bind and loose as I have said, but by My Spirit, you must be led. There will be times when you will know the outcome of the prayers you sow in this life. Some prayers you’ll not know the miracles they have wrought. Again, you must have faith in Me. You can help bring the victory!

We are overcomers in, by, and through the precious blood of Jesus ..... Declaring Your word, today, Father

No, we are not holding back, but we are rising up in these last days......The church of the Lord Jesus must rise up and declare that this is the way it must be!

Things are moving out that shouldn’t be here. Your word is working in and through us today, Father

Victories are on the horizon, and we thank You for it, Lord....................   We worship You; Your mercies are new every morning

Thank You for the ministry of Your precious Holy Spirit

Hallelujah, we worship You and honor You.

There is power in the mighty name of Jesus

You are so faithful, and so good, we love You, Lord

A Word of the Lord came forth

You have now as the church, you have entered into different days, for as seasons come and as seasons go, now we have entered into a different season, and you shall know. For there has been, and there will continually be much greater outpourings that you will see.

In this season that you are in, the season that you desperately believed to step out of, you have stepped out today, and believe it with all of your heart, for those things that needed to leave, wave them goodbye because they are gone.

You have stepped in and over into a new season of greater days, a new season of more revelation about what was done for you individually, but what was done for you together with all other members of the body of Christ.

Pastor Ray shared from a Kenneth Hagin prophecy

The enemy would endeavor to steal from you the blessings of God. The enemy would endeavor and will invade your homes, or try to, your lives and marriages. But to be forewarned is to be forearmed. Intercede, pray against the powers of darkness. Don’t stop!

Don’t stop in your praying because things seem to change just a little bit. Keep on interceding until the full answer materializes or the entire burden lifts. Don’t settle for 75% victory. Don’t settle for 90 or 99% victory. But settle for nothing less than 100% victory.” Deliverance from all darkness!

Pastor Ray shared a prophecy from Kenneth Copeland on February 16, 2014 Things Are Changing

“I know,” saith the Lord, “that the pressure is on. I know that the forces of darkness have pressed and pushed and attempted to overcome not only this nation, but are trying to overcome My people all over the world. He [the devil] thinks this is his time because he understands that the time is so short.

And, yes, soon and very soon a major change is coming. Change, change—especially in the lives of those who are determined to live by faith, and for those who have made decisions of quality to walk in the commandment of love, and for those who are determined to say what they hear Me say,” saith the Lord, “and do as I direct and command."

For these are not times for you to fail. These are times for you to succeed beyond anything you’ve ever dreamed of before. So as you continue to walk by faith, as you continue to walk in love and kindness, as you continue to keep an ear toward Me and acknowledge Me,” saith the Lord, “every day, all day, everywhere you go, have it be somewhere I have directed you to go. I’ll walk with you in the small things. I’ll say, ‘No, don’t go in this way this morning that you usually go. Turn down this way. Turn down that way.’

For you see, I have blessings waiting on you at every corner, every way and every turn. And you’ll say, ‘My, my! What has happened? I’m so blessed. Things are changing. My family has come to the Lord. Things are changing, when just a little while ago things looked so dark, things looked so low and bad to me. But something is happening. Things are changing!’ Hallelujah!

“Things are looking up! For the momentum has swung in the other direction. It looked a long time like the enemy, the darkness and all of that dark kingdom had the upper hand, and the things were swinging for them that we just seemed like whatever we did just hit such opposition.

Ah! No! Oh no! No, no! Look up! Momentum has changed. It’s working for you. It’s swinging for you. My grace has begun to overcome and swallow up the opposition around you. And soon and very soon, sooner than you think, oh, sooner than you think, the big change is coming! I’m coming,” saith the Lord.

“Heaven is fully prepared. We’ve been preparing all these years to receive you and we are fully prepared. Heaven is ready. For the time is at hand. The trumpet is about to blow and we’re all about to go. So rejoice and be glad and declare the wonders of the Lord are at hand. For great is His Presence, great is His grace, and the best is yet to come.”

If you have not yet begun to start your day off with special quiet time with the Lord and His Word, let it begin today. CAST UP A HIGHWAY gives instructions on one way to begin a journal. This is one good  way to build relatiinship with God; it opens the door of communication. My friends, yes the time is coming nearer when we shall all be called to stand with our King.

Psalm 24:7-10

7 So wake up, you living gateways!
Lift up your heads, you ageless doors of destiny!
 Welcome the King of Glory,
for he is about to come through you.
8 You ask, “Who is this Glory-King?”
The Lord, armed and ready for battle,
the Mighty One, invincible in every way!
9 So wake up, you living gateways, and rejoice![c]
Fling wide, you ageless doors of destiny!
Here He comes; the King of Glory is ready to come in.
10 You ask, “Who is this King of Glory?”
,  He is the Lord of Victory, armed and ready for battle,
the Mighty One, the invincible commander of heaven’s hosts!
Yes, He is the King of Glory!
Pause in his presence

Last blog taken from Rees Howell’s Intercessor by Norman Grubb

My fiends, I believe this powerful book was pointed out to me by the Holy Spirit, for it is time for all believers to begin to know who this powerful Third Person of the Trinity is. We've grown up knowing the Father and the Son, Jesus, but our knowing of the Holy Spirit for many has been limited to a dove, or a spirit without personality and face. In this book  HIs authority and sovereignty are more fully revealed, His work unveiled.

(Intercessor continued)

"Even the grounds outside filled with His presence. Walking around together we would suddenly be conscious that we were speaking in whispers. The late hours came, but no one thought of bed - for God was there. It seemed to be a foretaste of the Holy City: 'There shall be no night there.' 2 and 3 a.m. often seemed just like midday as we communed together, prayed with some who were 'coming through,' or waited before God in the quietness of our hearts.

"His visitation lasted for some three weeks in this special sense although, praise God, He came to 'abide,' and has continued with us ever since. But no one has a monopoly of the Holy Ghost. He is God, and whatever our experience of Him, He is far greater than all we can know of Him. Whatever we know of His gifts, His manifestations and His anointings, He is greater than all those. In whatever way He has manifested Himself to us, we also recognize His mighty working in and though others. Increasingly we look to the Holy Ghost Himself, poured out on all flesh as Joel prophesied, through His prepared channels, in all parts of the world.”

Through this falling of the fire upon the sacrifice the Spirit had sealed to Himself a company of intercessors for every creature. Tutors and school teachers, doctors and nurses, domestic and office workers, gardeners and mechanics: their duties were varied but their commission one. Many of the students themselves remained on as part of this praying and working company. There are times in God's dealings with His servants when He sets apart for Himself not just individuals but companies - baptized, as it were, by one Spirit into one body for one God-appointed purpose - and this was now one of them.

This my friends is the last blog I am writing from the INTERCESSOR by Rees Howells. It is a powerful book and I hope some of its power has ignited the fire of the Holy Spirit in you as it did me. May you be blessed through this unique intervention of God into our time with an even greater out pouring of the Holy Spirit in you!  I love you.

It is the time of the Holy Spirit, the days when He will reveal Himself to the nations. My friends, we all know this is a strange season, one like never before. To everyone who seeks the Lord, He will reveal His truth. He has a purpose for each one of us, and He will open the eyes to new understanding for those who honestly seek Him.

More from the Reese Howell's Book Intercessor by Norman Grubb

"As those days of visitations went on, we were just prostrate at His feet. We had thought that there was some virtue in our surrender: that we, with thousands of others, would be the people to evangelize the world in this generation. But now He had come, and we were out of it - except in so far as our bodies would become the temples in which He would dwell and through which He would work. He said, 'I have not come to give you joy, or peace, or victory. I have not come to give you blessing at all. You will find all that you need in Jesus. But I have come to put you to the cross, so that I may live in your body for the sake of a lost world'     (Col. 3:3; 2 Cor. 4:10; Gal. 2:20).

Colossians 3:3  (TPT)

Your crucifixion[a] with Christ has severed the tie to this life, and now your true life is hidden away in God in Christ.

Footnotes:Colossians 3:3 The Aramaic could be translated “Your death and your life are both hidden with the Messiah in God.”

 2 Corinthians 4:10  (TPT)

10 We continually share in the death of Jesus in our own bodies[a] so that the resurrection life of Jesus will be revealed through our humanity.

Footnotes:2 Corinthians 4:10 Or “carry about in the body the death of Jesus.”

Galatians 2:20  (TPT)

20 “My old identity has been co-crucified with Messiah and no longer lives; for the nails of his cross crucified me with him. And now the essence of this new life is no longer mine, for the Anointed One lives his life through me—we live in union as one! My new life is empowered by the faith of the Son of God who loves me so much that he gave himself for me, and dispenses his life into mine![a]

Footnotes:  The last sentence of this verse in Aramaic is plural, “us.”

"He warned us that the trials before this task was through would be so great, and the attacks of Satan so fierce, that 'flesh and blood' would never be able to hold out. He showed us that on the eve of the crucifixion, when the real clash came with the powers of darkness, it was only the Savior who stood. We saw every one of the disciples fail in that hour - in spite of all their surrenders, their vows and their devotion to the Master.

And looking into the future years - the darkness of the last days of this age, the final contest between heaven and hell for the kingdoms of this world - we could see only One Person who was 'sufficient for these things,' and He was the glorious Third Person of the Godhead in those whom He was able to indwell.

"One by one He met us; one by one we broke in tears and contrition before Him. From one after another rose the cry, as it did from Isaiah when he too 'saw the Lord': 'Woe is me for I am undone...unclean.' One by one our wills were broken; we yielded on His own unconditional terms. To one by one there came the glorious realization: He had entered, and the wonder of our privilege just overwhelmed us.

My friends, if you have never before experienced the Holy Spirit, it is time now. We have all been playing ‘Christian’, but until we fully experience His power in us, we will not comprehend the difference. it is now necessary to get more serious about our walk with God! Truly I believe we are living in the “last days” and the enemy wil get more active and stronger in its attacks. Without the Holy Spirit Presence in us, it will indeed be extremely difficult if not impossible to have victory in the battle.

Remember Peter lived with and loved Jesus, see what happened to him:

Mark 14:70-72

70 Once again, Peter denied it. A short time later, the bystanders said to him, “You must be one of them. You’re a Galilean, like he is, for your accent proves it!”[c]71 Peter cursed and said, “I tell you, I don’t know this man you’re talking about!”

At the same moment Peter spoke those words, the sound of a rooster crowing pierced the night for the second time. And Peter remembered the words Jesus had spoken to him earlier: “Before the rooster crows twice, yu will deny me three times.” With a shattered heart, Peter broke down and sobbed with bitter tears.

We too will fail the Master without the Holy Spirit power of protection at work in us. But after the apostles were filled with the Holy Spirit… the book of Acts tells that story

"The personal experience was great. We were new people. His Word became new. So often we had had to water down the Word to the level of our experience. But now the Person in us would insist on bringing out experience up to the level of His Word. We understood that crucifixion was a slow death, and that He would have much to deal with in us before He would really be free to do His work though us. But one thing we knew - He had come and He could never fail.

"But far greater than anything His visitation could mean to us personally was what it was going to mean to the world. We saw Him as the One to whom 'the nations are as a drop of a bucket, and are counted as the small dust of the balance.' On our faces before Him we could only say, from awed hearts, 'Holy Ghost, You have come to shake the world.'

"There was no excitement or enthusiasm of the flesh in those days. When His power had come upon us after March 29 we had been carried away and were singing and shouting out praises. But in these days we were so awed by the holy majesty of His Person that we hardly dared raise our voices in the meetings.

When we are“so awed by the majesty of His Person” we will know we’re close to comprehending Him.

Visitation of the Spirit

From the time of special dedication on March 29, 1936, when so many of the College (both staff and students) laid their lives on the altar as intercessors, the Spirit was at work in the College. The climax and consummation came in the New Year of 1937. It was the "Pentecost" of the College, from which they emerged, not a loosely-linked company of consecrated individuals, but a body in full sense of the term - a living, integrated organism, infused with one life and one purpose. Dr. Kingsley C. Priddy, M.B., B.S., D.T.M. &H., a member of the staff and later headmaster of the school, gives the following account of those days:

"In the Christmas vacation of 1936 much time was given to prayer. As we approached the new year of 1937 there was an increasing consciousness of God's presence. The first outward sign that He was working in a new way was when one of the staff broke down in prayer, confessing her sense of need and crying to the Holy Spirit to meet her. Then we heard how the Holy Ghost had so manifested Himself in the glory of His Divine Person to some of the girl students that they wept before Him for hours - broken at the corruption of their own hearts revealed in the light of His holiness.

"An awesome sense of God's nearness began to steal over the whole College. There was a solemn expectancy. We were reminded of the 120 in the Upper Room before the day of Pentecost. Like them, we only wanted to spend our time 'in prayer and supplication' - conscious that God's hand was upon us - conscious that He was about to do something. God was there; yet we felt we were still waiting for Him to come. And in the days that followed, He came.

"He did not come like a rushing mighty wind. But gradually the person of the Holy Ghost filled all our thoughts, His Presence filled all the place, and His light seemed to penetrate all the hidden recesses of our hearts. He was speaking through the Director in every meeting, but it was in the quiet of our own rooms that He revealed Himself to many of us.

"We felt the Holy Spirit had been a real Person to us before; as far as we knew we had received Him; and some of us had known much of His operations in and through our lives. But now the revelation of His Person was so tremendous that all our previous experiences seemed as nothing. There was no visible apparition, but He made Himself so real to our spiritual eyes that it was a 'face to face' experience. And when we saw Him we knew we had never really seen Him before. We said like Job, 'I have heard of Thee by the Hearing of the ear: but now mine eye seeth Thee'; and like him, we cried, "Wherefore I abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes.'

My experience happened one morning in my quiet time, when Holy Spirit spoke to me and said, "I love you, Mary". I knew He was speaking as the Third Person of the Holy Trinity. He is a person, and for the first time I realized that, and I knew the Holy Spirit was a real 'person' and He, the Holy Spirit,  loved me. When He spoke to me in His still small voice, I knew He was with me. He never leaves me; when I think of Him, I hear, "I love you." He has never left me, and continues to mentor me. It is indeed like a 'face to face'  time spent with Him. My friends, the Holy Spirit is more than a dove, or some whispy spirit; He is the Third PERSON of the Trinity;. Holy Spirit is powerful and wants to relate with us today.

"Many of us on the previous March 29 had put our all on the altar for the sake of giving the gospel to every creature. We had become willing to be any cog in the machinery that God needed to put that through in our generation. But now the Holy Ghost said, as Jehovah had said to Moses, 'I am come down to do it.' And we knew He was almighty as He was Holy.

"In the light of His purity, it was not so much sin we saw as self. We saw pride and self-motives underlying everything we had ever done. Lust and self-pity were discovered in places where we had never suspected them. And we had to confess we knew nothing of the Holy Ghost as an indwelling Person. That our bodies were meant to be the temple of the Holy Ghost we knew, but when He pressed the question, 'Who is living in your body?' we could not say that He was. We would have done so once, but now we had seen Him.

"Why had He manifested Himself to us in this way? He made that quite clear. It was because there was a work to be done in the world today that only He could do (John 16: No wonder the Master told His disciples not to move from Jerusalem until they had received 'the promise of the Father.' But when He had come, they would be His witnesses 'in Jerusalem, and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.'

That same messaage is for us today. Holy Spirit is revealing Himself more and more. You see, this pandemic is not just a happening. It was no suprise to God, and He is going to use it for His purposes; and Holy Spirit is coming down to do it. We are His warriors and we need to be in training to prepare us for the battles ahead. The enemy wants to use this virus for its plan ~ to destroy us: as individuals, as a people, as a nation.

God has His plan to save us as individuals, as a people, as a nation, as a world. WE are all called to pray for Holy Spirit guidance as to what our roles are in the battles ahead. Holy Spirit's power will give us the victory!

If you do not yet know the Holy Spirit, I encourage you to seek Him. Our God is passionately in love with us, and wants to help us become who we were designed to be. Fix your eyes upon our God, and know Him in a person-to-person relationship. Fear will never be able to consume you when you're in that companionship. You are never alone, and your leader is all knowing and all powerful! Victory is already won. Come do your part in it!

Holy Spirit

Occasionally I peruse my blogs and journals from the past,  and this time I came across a great book that I had read and found excellent. It speaks of the Third Person of the Blessed Trinity ~ the Holy Spirit. There seemed to be some worthy points to share, especially now; we are living in a very unique season, and God has a plan for us during it. My personal belief is that this is a term of the Holy Spirit. To many He is a mystery and not understood with any depth. Thus my sharing  beginning this morning will go somewhat deep. [first let me tell you that the Holy Spirit was also once known as the Holy Ghost. Somewhere in my lifetime, it seemed inappropriate and so was changed to much more truth, The Holy Spirit.]

from Rees Howell's book, Intercessor by Norman Grubb / speaking of the Holy Spirit:

. . . ”In His natue He was just like Jesus - He would never live for self, but always for others. We were people who had left all to follow the Savior, and had forsaken all we had of this world's goods to enter a life of faith, and as far as we knew we had surrendered our lives entirely to the One who died for us. But He showed us,

'There is all the difference in the world between your surrendered life in My hands, and Me living My life in your body.'

"I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice...' (Romans 12:1). It seemed as though we had never seen that Scripture before. He made it clear that He was not asking for service, but for a sacrifice. 'Our God is a consuming fire'; and if God the Holy Ghost took possession of these bodies, then His life was going to consume all that there was of ours.

I have come to the point in my life where my deepest desire is to be one with my Savior, and I thus could relate to this concept; not truly realizing with full comprehension of this commitment, I prayed ~

"Your life will consume all that there is of me. I’m ok with that, because that means what “I” do is really Your will, as You live in my body ~ my body is no longer mine, but Yours.  My thyoughts, my desires, my emotions all are included in the sacrifice. This I choose to accept." Whoa! Really?" That easy?

"We had often sung 'I want to be like Jesus,' but when we had the offer from a Person who is just like the Savior to come and live that life daily and hourly in us, we found how unreal we had been. How much there was in us that still wanted to live our own lives - that shrank from this 'sentence of death'!

We now began to see the meaning of the Savior's words in Luke 9:24, 'For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for My sake, the same shall save it.'

Oh my goodness, I just saw it. . . pride like a Pharisee had snuck into my thinking:  Oh “I am past that. I want to have You live in me; I will give up myself, my will, to You. Why see how wonderful I am.”

Oh Lord I am sorry; please forgive my haughty attitude. I repent my God. Give me Your mercy and grace to truly have a humble attitude. It is through Your training that I have any acceptable perspective at all. It is all You. Yes, Holy Spirit, I need You living in me, taking over my life. I bow before You humbly asking for Your intervention. You have been so good to me with encouragement, that I began to see myself as better than others.

My God that is so wrong! Help me BE right with You. Allow my innermost thoughts (even those I don’t know I have)  be transformed into humility, knowing I don’t deserve You. I am not worthy that You should enter within me; and in myself this is true; but, Lord, Your crucifixion and death and defeat of death has paid for my sins ~ all of them, so I am able to ask You to live Your life in me. Come, Holy Spirit, live Your life in me. I gladly submit to You and Your will.

Being very conscious of the fact that I'm no longer a spring chicken, I felt compelled to ask, "Can I do anything great for YOU? at my age? Lord I am willing. Help me to see what You would have me do". And the Holy Spirit inserted this Scripture  into my thoughts:

 Philippians 4:4-20 (TPT)

4 Be cheerful with joyous celebration in every season of life.

Let joy overflow, for you are united with the Anointed One

5 Let gentleness[a] be seen in every relationship, for our Lord is ever near.[b]

6 Don’t be pulled in different directions or worried about a thing. Be saturated in prayer throughout each day, offering your faith-filled requests before God with overflowing gratitude. Tell him every detail of your life,

7 then God’s wonderful peace that transcends human understanding, will make the answers known to you through Jesus Christ.[c]

8 So keep your thoughts continually fixed on all that is authentic and real, honorable and admirable, beautiful and respectful, pure and holy, merciful and kind. And fasten your thoughts on every glorious work of God,[d] praising him always. 9 Follow the example of all that we have imparted to you and the God of peace will be with you in all things.

Holy Spirit, thank You! You are so faithful to answer me! How marvelous is our God!!

Jesus, mighty Creator, God of all. Before You I choose to bow down, for You are so high! There's none like You! Majestic! Light of lights. Love personified, like none other. For You always were; You are the Alpha and the Omega! Mighty, enormous, immense, beyond my scope. Still,  being with You is like total peace in boundless love.

Good morning Lord! I am so delighted to be with You! My heart desires noting more than to spend time with You! You love us so much! You created a book (The Bible) to teach us about Yourself, and You even sent Your Son, Jesus, to suffer our due penalty, thus ransoming us, freeing us from satan's chains. He binds us no more. Jesus bought our freedom. Now we have the ability to choose Jesus as our gift of freedom and ask Him to be Lord of  our life, King of our Heart. He will raise us up to understand how kind and loving is our God. He is not some entity sitting above the clouds with a baseball bat ready to punish us for wrong decisions. Rather He gives us grace to make good choices; He helps guide us and leads us in the right direction.

Isaiah 43:16 The Passion Translation

[God Will Do a New Thing ] Yahweh is the one who makes a way in the sea, a pathway in the mighty waters.

Have you ever been in love? Do you know how it feels to be in love? You want to be with that person all the time! God loves each of us like that. His love is deep and pure. Think how He could feel when His beloved rejects Him, chooses another god to worship, ignores Him? We are God's beloved!

Well I have to look at this Coronavirus; God did not make it, but He did not prevent it either. Now many find themselves quarantined in their own homes, no sports, no entertainment, no jobs. Things that we chose to come before God are no longer available to us.  Hmmm?

Micah 7:1-6 The Message

[ Stick Around to See What God Will Do ] I’m overwhelmed with sorrow! sunk in a swamp of despair! I’m like someone who goes to the garden to pick cabbages and carrots and corn And returns empty-handed, finds nothing for soup or sandwich or salad. There’s not a decent person in sight. Right-living humans are extinct. They’re all out for one another’s blood, animals preying on each other. They’ve all become experts in evil. Corrupt leaders demand bribes.

The powerful rich make sure they get what they want. The best and brightest are thistles. The top of the line is crabgrass. But no longer: It’s exam time. Look at them slinking away in disgrace! Don’t trust your neighbor, don’t confide in your friend. Watch your words, even with your spouse. Neighborhoods and families are falling to pieces. The closer they are—sons, daughters, in-laws— The worse they can be. Your own family is the enemy.

It is causing some to begin to understand what is really critical in life. Having a close relationship with a God who loves us and is all seeing and all powerful can be a comfort in these puzzling times. Loving our family and putting them before work and enertainment may deserve a second look. Examining our own treatment of others can be eye opening in truth.

You can tell Micah knew God; just look at His perspective:

 Micah 7:7 The Message

But me, I’m not giving up. I’m sticking around to see what God will do. I’m waiting for God to make things right. I’m counting on God to listen to me.

Others in the Bible also knew God and had communication with Him:

 Acts 27:23-26

The Message
“Last night God’s angel stood at my side, an angel of this God I serve, saying to me, ‘Don’t give up, Paul. You’re going to stand before Caesar yet—and everyone sailing with you is also going to make it.’ So, dear friends, take heart. I believe God will do exactly what he told me. But we’re going to shipwreck on some island or other.”

God's answers may not always be exactly what we want, but knowing God loves us and wants the best for us, allows us to trust that His answers are for our good. We sometimes find ourselves in a boat on a stormy sea, knowing God, we do not panic, but ask God (who is constantly with us) for His aid; and the Word shoiws us how to act ~

Romans 5:3-5 (The Message)
There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us,

and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next.

In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling shortchanged. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!

Whoops. we have not spoken of the Third Person of the Holy Trinity yet. We will do that soon. Meanwhile, remember that the God, Creator of the Universe, wants to establish a relationship with us! Let us all use this perfect opportunity and perhaps this God-set TIME for it!

Here is Jeremiah with God's Word:

Jeremiah 31:10-13

“Hear the word of the Lord, you nations;
 proclaim it in distant coastlands:
‘He who scattered Israel will gather them
and will watch over his flock like a shepherd.’
11 For the Lord will deliver Jacob
and redeem them from the hand of those stronger than they.
 12 They will come and shout for joy on the heights of Zion;
they will rejoice in the bounty of the Lord—
the grain, the new wine and the olive oil,
the young of the flocks and herds.

They will be like a well-watered garden,
and they will sorrow no more.
13 Then young women will dance and be glad,
young men and old as well.
 I will turn their mourning into gladness;
I will give them comfort and joy instead of sorrow.

Zephaniah 3:17 NIV

The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Dear Mother, you were an awesome Mom. Collecting memories from those long ago days makes me smile. I can picture the house we grew up in, and we kids always came and went thru the back door. From the landing we entered the choice was to go up to the kitchen or down to the laundry room. Mom was often found in one of these two places. We were greeted with hugs as we returned from school.

Memories ~

  • Mom would wrap our hair in rag curls and as she worked she would sing to us. She had a marvelous voice and once sang in an operetta. She would sing songs to us as she formed our long curls. Those were precious moments.

  • Every evening Mom would get ready for Dad to come home. She would get out of her housedress she’d worked in all day and put on prettier clothes to greet Dad.

  • When she and Dad went out for the evening, sometimes her nails were still wet and she’d hold them up in the air as she kissed us goodbye. She always smelled especially nice when they went out.

  • Mom always loved the Lord. She would go out once a week to teach about Jesus to kids in the public school. She also volunteered to work in a nursing home helping teach different crafts like painting and also pottery making to bring joy to those who stayed there.

  • Mom lived her love of God. She was a good disciplinarian with us kids, holding us to truth and obedience and always with love. We were free to play with the neighborhood kids and it was almost like a family. We even went to the ‘block rosary’ on Tuesday nights.

  • During Lent we would get up early and walk to church, receive communion, walk home, Mom made breakfast, and we walked to school. She taught us reverence for the Lord.

  • On Good Friday we would pick up Ginny ( the lady who helped Mom with laundry) and “make the steps”. It is a tradition where there is a long flight of stairs going from a lower street and climbing to the top street. We would pray on each step. When we got to the top we would go to the church there and they passed out ‘holy water' from Lourdes. Then we went to where they had breakfast.

  • I think our relationship grew even closer in preparing for my wedding. There are so many decisions to be made and plans to set in place. She made it “all about me’. It can be a time of stress, and there were some of those, but she was always present to smoothe situations out and make it a joyous occasion.

  • Seems there were many things Mom taught us as we grew up. These are just a few memories I treasure.

NOW  I lift up all Moms. . . No matter Your age nor your generation, the jobs of moms is not easy. God has gifted us with children, and that is a blessing and a challenge. From the time they arrive as wonderful miracles of God, our lives are full.

Psalm 139:13-16

13 You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside
and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb.[a]  (”God places an eternal spirit inside the conceived child within the womb of a mother and covers that life, sends the child a guardian angel, and watches over him or her.)

14 I thank you, God, for making me so mysteriously complex!
Everything you do is marvelously breathtaking.
It simply amazes me to think about it!
How thoroughly you know me, Lord!

15 You even formed every bone in my body
when You created me in the secret place,
carefully, skillfully shaping me[c] from nothing to something.

16 You saw who you created me to be before I became me!

Before I’d ever seen the light of day,
the number of days you planned for me
were already recorded in your book.[e]

God's Word shows His love for our babies and alao for us. God ctreated us for a purpose, and part of that was to raise our kids to know Him. When we follow His plan, the  challenges are easier. WE have God within us to guide us. Do You know the Lord God? If not, I invite you today to choose to make Jesus the King of your heart. He will come and forgive all your mistakes (sins) and send Holy Spirit to indwell you. Then you have God Himself as your Mentor and your Guide. Those things you cannot accomplish, He can. You can rely on Him. Hey Moms, we all need help, and He is the supreme helper!

Thank You Lord for blessing all our Mothers!

Isaiah 45 The Passion Translation (TPT)

God’s Shepherd, Cyrus

45 “This is what Yahweh says to his anointed one,

Cyrus, whose right hand I have grasped as my servant

to conquer nations and dethrone their kings.

For I will open doors before him

and no fortified gate will remain closed.

‘I will march out in front of you and level every obstacle.

I will shatter to pieces bronze doors

and slice through iron bars.

I will give you hidden treasures from dark, concealed places

and wealth waiting in secret sites

so that you recognize me, for it is I, Yahweh,

the God of Israel, who calls you by your name!

For the sake of my servant Jacob, and Israel my chosen,

I call you by your name and give you a title of honor.

But you don’t even know me.

I am Yahweh, the only God there is,

and you’ll never find another.

I will strengthen you for victory,

even though you do not intimately know who I am.

Yet through you everyone will know who I really am.

Those from the rising sun in the east to the west,

everyone everywhere will know

that I am Yahweh, the one and only God,

and there is no other.

I create light, and I make it dark.

I make bliss, and I create adversity.

I am Yahweh who does all these things.’

“Shower down righteousness, O heavens above.

Let the clouds drip with deliverance!

Let earth’s womb open and bear salvation’s fruit,

with righteousness rising up beside it!

I, Yahweh, have created all of them!

Shame on the one who argues with his Creator,

like one clay pot among other pots arguing with the potter.

Should the clay say to the potter,

‘What in the world are you doing with me?

Your hands are clumsy’?[l]

Shame on the one who complains to a father,

‘Why in the world did you conceive me?’

Or to a mother, ‘Why in the world did you bring me to birth?’”

Listen to what Yahweh,

the Holy One of Israel, the One who shaped him, has to say:

“Why do you question me about the destiny of my children

or tell me what to do with my children and what I have made?

I created the earth and populated it with people.

With my own hands, I spread out the cosmos

and then commanded the starry host to shine!

I am the one who raised him up in righteousness!

I will make all his paths straight and level.

He will build my city and release my exiled people,

not because he was bribed or hired to do it,

declares the Almighty Yahweh!”

Yahweh, the Hope of the Nations

This is what Yahweh says to Cyrus:

“Egypt’s wealth, Cush’s treasures, and the tall Sabeans

will all be handed over to you.

In chains they will walk behind you.

They will be brought before you and they will bow down

and address you reverently, saying,

‘Truly God is with you. He alone is God, and there is no other.’”

Truly, O God of Israel, the Savior,

you are a God who hides himself.”[q]

All the idol-makers will be ashamed and disgraced,

and each one will walk away in confusion.

But Yahweh saves Israel with everlasting salvation!

You will not be put to shame nor disgraced for all eternity!

This is what Yahweh says, heaven’s Creator, who alone is God.

He created the earth, shaped it, and established it all by himself.

He made it fit and orderly and beautiful for its inhabitants.

He says:

“I am Yahweh, and there is no other god.

I didn’t whisper in secret, in a realm of darkness.

I didn’t say to Jacob’s tribes,

‘Seek me in vain.’

I am Yahweh!

I speak the truth and declare to you what is right!

“Come together! Assemble yourselves!

Draw near, you refugees from among the nations.

Those who parade their powerless wooden idols

have no revelation knowledge.

They keep on praying to gods who cannot save them.

Declare what is to be and state your case.

Go ahead and take counsel together.

Who knew all about this and declared it long ago?

Was it not I, Yahweh? There is no god apart from me.

I am a righteous God and a Savior.

There is no one you can compare to me.

So turn your heart to me, face me now,

and be saved wherever you are,

even from the ends of the earth,

for I alone am God, and there is no other.

I make this solemn oath to you in my own name;

this word sent from my mouth in righteousness

will not return unfulfilled:

‘Truly every knee will bow before me

and every tongue will solemnly swear allegiance to me!’

All will say of me,

‘Yes! Only in Yahweh do I find righteousness and strength!’

And all who were angry with me

will come before me and regret it!

In Yahweh, all of Israel’s offspring will triumph and shine!”

In this chapter of Isaiah God is speaking of Cyrus; many today are calling our President “Cyrus”. Read the whole chapter knowing Isaiah 45 and see what it declares. I, for one, will agree. I raise a Halleluaj for God’s Word. Will I proclaim this IS A PROPHECY OF our President?  How can I? But within myself, I say yes, O believe he is the Cyrus of this time, and he will obey God and our world will recognize God as the true, one and only God of the universe.

Perhaps you disagree with me; that’s ok. I just choose to believe;

Romans 8:28

28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.

God did not create Covig-19, but He will bring good out of it. He is capable and He is faithful to His promises. He also had a hand in placing our President in office. I trust God. This pandemic was no surprise to Him, and He is always working for our good. Thank You Lord!

The wonder and magnificence of our God!

Luke 1:78-80 (TPT)

78 The splendor light of heaven’s glorious sunrise[a]
is about to break upon us in holy visitation,
all because the merciful heart of our God is so very tender.
79 The word from heaven will come to us[b]
with dazzling light to shine upon those
who live in darkness, near death’s dark shadow.[c]
And he will illuminate the path that leads to the way of peace.”

Romans 14:11 NIV  It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’”

Philippians 2:10-12 The Passion Translation (TPT)

10 The authority of the name of Jesus causes every knee to bow in reverence! Everything and everyone will one day submit to this name—in the heavenly realm, in the earthly realm, and in the demonic realm.[a] 11 And every tongue will proclaim in every language: “Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh,”[b] bringing glory and honor to God, his Father![c]

Believers Shine Like Lights in the World]

12 My beloved ones, just like you’ve always listened to everything I’ve taught you in the past, I’m asking you now to keep following my instructions as though I were right there with you. Now you must continue to make this new life fully manifested as you live[d] in the holy awe of God—which brings you trembling into his presence.

This verse makes it clear that the name given to Jesus at his exaltation was “Lord Jehovah” or “Lord Yahweh.” The Hebrew name for Jesus is Yeshua (lit. “God is a Saving-Cry”;), which bears and reveals the name Yahweh. Jesus carries the name and reputation of his Father, Yahweh, within him. See John 17:11.

This powerful Jesus prays for us to be ONE with each other.

John 17:11 The Passion Translation (TPT)

11 “Holy Father, I am about to leave this world[a]
to return and be with you,
but my disciples will remain here.
So I ask that by the power of your name,
protect each one that you have given me,
and watch over them so that they will be united
as one, even as we are one.

Philippians 2:11 Note the seven steps of exaltation that God gave Jesus after the cross:

God exalted him and multiplied his greatness.

He possess the greatest name of all.

His sovereign authority will cause every knee to bow.

God decreed that everyone in heaven will bow in worship of the God-Man, Jesus.

God decreed that every demonic being will bow to the God-Man

God decreed that every tongue will proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord Yahweh!

God received the glory and honor of sharing his throne with the Jesus.

The glory and grandeur of God, His magnificence, His regal brilliance and power are evident in His universal designs. They’re so far above us, we can only bow down to His might and glory. And to think, this amazing God wants to establish connection with you and me! I mean  really. . .

Have you ever stared up at a waterfall whose thunderous roar fills your head with glory and power? or

Have you sat in a boat on a river in absolute stillness as the sky became a vast ceiling of sparkling diamonds?

Have you stood on a mountaintop, eyes filled with a vista of rising peaks shouting out the magnificent power of God’s strength?

Have you marveled at the gentleness of an enormous elephant nuzzling her baby, admired the speed of a racing cheetah, the grace of a gazelle?

This world of ours is brimming over with the touch of our God. His love gleams though all His creation. Even the miracles of the human body reflect His wisdom and delight in our being. My friends, one cannot really deny God’s existence except in pride or ignorance. The earth is a statement of His love for us.

Philippians 2:12 The Aramaic can be translated “push through the service of your life” or “work the work of your life.”

It is also the validation of His purpose and ours in our lives.  He made the earth to house us and to give us joy. He placed a purpose in each of our lives, and when we discover our purpose, our being takes on new energy as we set goals and follow God’s lead in pursuing them. Instilled in us is a new animation, our smile returns with glee. Life is not meant to be a drudgery or dull.

More verification of God’s care for us is found in the book He gave us. I call the Bible God’s Instruction Manual on living a happy life. That is its purpose ~ to lead and guide, to teach and portray His love for us; He is love. I ask that you who read these words will feel His love touch your hearts:

ROMANS 8:14 The mature children of God are those[a] who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. 15 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,”[b] leading you back into the fear of never being good enough.[c] But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,”[d] enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!”[e] 16 For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as He whispers into our innermost being, “You are God’s beloved child!”

Romans 8:15 Or “spirit of adult [complete] sonship.” The Aramaic can be translated “the spirit of consecrated children.”

Romans 8:15 Abba is not a Greek word, but an Aramaic word transliterated into

Greek letters. Abba is the Aramaic word for “father.” It is also found in Mark 14:36 and Gal. 4:6. Abba is also a word used for devotion, a term of endearment. This is why some have concluded that Abba could be translated as

“Daddy” or “Papa.” It is hard to imagine a closer relationship to have with God than to call him “Abba, our Beloved Father.”

                                              ABBA, BELOVED FATHER.

Praise You mighty Lord! Let the whole world rise up and praise YOU! For You are mighty and You are love. How marvelous that You love us so much that You always seek the best for us. When we come and seek You and ask for things, You hear and if its best for us You provide. Thank You wonderful Father! I am so blessed!

This unique time in the world’s history comes as a shock and leaves us adrift in a sea of questions. This has caused some to be attacked by fear. Others are also stressed out by the changes. Still others are so lonely, they commit suicide. Thankfully, Lord You provide an answer if only people would seek You, for You have the solutions.

You are the God who loves us and when we ask, You are with us to give peace. Yes, peace in all situations! Without Your peace, fear invades the mind, and it seems today the two major ones bringing anxiety are the deadly virus and money worries. Yes these unravel into an unknown future, and those without faith have no place to hide; it leave them wide open to the enemy's verbal persecutions. Whereas, those who have relationship with God know they can leave any distress in His  hands, because He knows the future, He love us and will take care of us.

There is much evidence of God's love. Look what Jesus did for us! We were lost in sin and chained to the devil’s prison, we had no good future. We were born with Adam’s transgression embedded into our nature, and were thus condemned; our destiny was hell. But because Jesus  loved us so much, He was willing to sacrifice Himself bearing torturous pain and agony to pay our sin debt! In so doing He broke us out of Satan's evil bind. Then Jesus sent Holy Spirit to be our protector holding us above the chaos as we choose to believe and follow Jesus and His ways. Holy Spirit is our Mentor, our Teacher, our Shield and our Strength.

Luke 1:78-80  (TPT)

78 The splendor light of heaven’s glorious sunrise  is about to break upon us in holy visitation,
all because the merciful heart of our God is so very tender.
79 The word from heaven will come to us with dazzling light to shine upon those
who live in darkness, near death’s dark shadow.   And He will illuminate the path that leads to the way of peace.”

Friends, in this time of trials, find truth in the Savior who loves you! He wants to establish relationship with us! What an awesome concept ~ that the Creator of the Universe wants to bond with us, have communication with us! All we have to say is “Yes I want to know You that way too. Lord.”

This unique time in our lives opens up the opportunity to spend effort in truly seeking a better way of life. God honestly  cares about us and desires to open Himself up to us. We can have access to His wisdom and His power, if we so choose. Dear ones, turn this pandemic into a victory for yourself and your family. Allow God Himself to be your guide through the rest of your time! What a magnificent chance to change the negative things in ourself and our world into marvelous positives. He is eagerly waiting to help us do it!

Trust in the Lord. Oh God I remember trust as a small child. I loved playing in the woods behind our house with our friends. It was great fun. . . until the morning I awoke to  a strange noise. A tractor was pushing down all the trees! I ran downstairs and told my mom, "Call dad quick they are pushing down all our trees!! He can make them stop." I knew this cuz, my dad could do anything. Well, sad to say, He was not God and only God could stop the developers. But trust is a force that can cause miracles to happen, when the trust is in God.

BTW We turned the new construction houses into a - playground.;)

So as we face an unsettling reality today, we have choices to make. We can be afraid that we will catch the virus and die, or a loved one will, or that the economy will crash ~ and then what will happen? So many fearful posssibilities can be ahead, and all are out of our control!

Fear comes crashing in the door. We can run away and hide, or we can successfully fight it with faith. Indeed, we can trust God and all the promises in His Word. He is faithful to carry out His promises, if we believe. Yes the choice is ours. WE can live in peace knowing this was no surprise to God, and He has a plan for us, and because He loves us, it is a good plan.

Jeremiah 17:7-8 NIV

“But blessed is the one who trusts in the Lord, whose confidence is in him.

Lord I was allowing the enemy’s negatives to get me down! Thank You for sending Pat! Father I am not going to act like a weakling. You indwell me! You, the God, Creator of the universe, live inside of me. Hello, God. Before You I bow down.

8. They will be like a tree planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.”

Holy Spirit, You know me inside and out and You still love me.   Then He surprised me by speaking into my spirit:

‘Mary I have loved you from the moment I breathed life into your spirit in that special place before you were born.’

Then I found in Jeremiah 5

“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument],   And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own]

How good that makes me feel. I do not always get a direct word from Him, but it seems when I really need it, He confirms me as His own. We serve a marvelous, loving Lord!

Psalm 46 Amplified Bible (AMP)

God the Refuge of His People    A Song.

God is our refuge and strength [mighty and impenetrable],
A very present and well-proved help in trouble.

Yes Lord, you have always been faithful!! Today is no exception!

Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change
And though the mountains be shaken and slip into the heart of the seas,
Though its waters roar and foam,
Though the mountains tremble at its roaring.Selah.

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
The holy dwelling places of the Most High.

This is where our focus must be!

God is in the midst of her [His city], she will not be moved;
God will help her when the morning dawns. Every day begins with a morning, a newness, a fresh space to see and walk in!

The nations made an uproar, the kingdoms tottered and were moved;
He raised His voice, the earth melted.
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]. Selah.

Yes, He is the Lord of hosts, greater than any nation, evil, and disease!                             Nothing is impossible for Him, and in His love for us, we have His protection and faithfulness in His promises.

Come, behold the works of the Lord,
Who has brought desolations and wonders on the earth.
He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth;
He breaks the bow into pieces and snaps the spear in two;
He burns the chariots with fire.

Interesting, since this pandemic began, there is little talk of war! Rather news is filled with the Coronavirus around the world

“Be still and know (recognize, understand) that I am God.
I will be exalted among the nations! I will be exalted in the earth.”
The Lord of hosts is with us;
The God of Jacob is our stronghold [our refuge, our high tower]. Selah

Indeed, we obey our God. He tells us “be still” and when we go to a quiet place and silence our thoughts allowing Him to enter into that space, we will experience God revealing Himself to us. And we will naturally exalt Him. We cannot do anything but glorify Him in His magnificence and wonder! Praise Him, O my soul!!

Fear and anxety melt in the Presence of our God!

Friends, we have such a marvelous God who knows us and what we need. It's us who don't really know what we need. Oh, we know our wants alright, but our 'wants' are not always the best thing for us. And that is one excellent reason to seek to have communion with the God who loves us. Once we get to truly know Him, our communication with Him covers everything we want and need. Then we can build a true relationship with God. And oh how splendid that is!! Hey, let's look at this Scripture to see one advantage:

Romans 8:9-25 The Passion Translation (TPT)

9 But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, [a] you are not dominated by the flesh but by the Spirit.

And if you are not joined to the Spirit of the Anointed One, you are not of him.[b]

Think about these words. Are we sometimes dominated by the flesh? Yes, we all are at times. Yeah like recently I ended up with a partial bag of potato chips. Could I resist them? Only sometimes, but the bag is now empty. . .  and when My  husband called from the store, "Honey we are out of chips, shalI I pick up a bag?"  With a resounding "NO" I replied, " If they are not  here I cannot eat them."   They have the potential of dominating my flesh, so I have to keep away from them. What is your 'great temptation' of the flesh? For some it is more serious: pornography, alcohol, drugs. . .

The wonderful word that this Scripture gives us is: But when the Spirit of Christ empowers your life, you are not dominated by the flesh. When we choose Christ as our King, dedicating our life to Him, choosing to serve Him as Lord of our life, He comes along side of us and empowers us to defeat the cravings of the  flesh. We are not alone in the struggle and the enemy can no longer defeat us. In Christ there is victory!

10 Now Christ lives his life in you! And even though your body may be dead because of the effects of sin, his life-giving Spirit imparts life to you because you are fully accepted by God.[c] 11 Yes, God raised Jesus to life! And since God’s Spirit of Resurrection lives in you, He will also raise your dying body to life by the same Spirit that breathes life into you!

12 So then, beloved ones, the flesh has no claims on us at all, and we have no further obligation to live in obedience to it. 13 For when you live controlled by the flesh, you are about to die. But if the life of the Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh, we then taste His abundant life.

Indeed it is an abundant life! I like that  "Spirit puts to death the corrupt ways of the flesh"  We live on the victory road. Does this mean we easily conquer every challenge in life? Not necessarily, but when we remember Christ is with us helping us, His power enables us to always have the victory.

We are then: Sons and Daughters Destined for Glory

14 The mature children of God are those[d] who are moved by the impulses of the Holy Spirit. 15 And you did not receive the “spirit of religious duty,”[e] leading you back into the fear of never being good enough.

But you have received the “Spirit of full acceptance,”[g] enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned, for as he rises up within us, our spirits join Him in saying the words of tender affection, “Beloved Father!”[h] 16 For the Holy Spirit makes God’s fatherhood real to us as He [God] whispers into our innermost being, “You are My beloved child!”

Don't you enjoy the way this says, " enfolding you into the family of God. And you will never feel orphaned. . ." Yes, we can be enfolded into God's family, we become full members of God's family; He calls us His beloved children, and in truth we become so.

We are able to establish an intimate relationship with God Himself. You may not have had a good father/child connection, but God can become your true Father, loving you in the way you always wished it could be, a Father who approves of you, encourages you, speaks loving  words to you ~ just as you are today!

17 And since we are his true children, we qualify to share all his treasures, for indeed, we are heirs of God Himself. . ..

I had to share the words of the Message version also:

Romans 8:17 The Message (MSG)

15-17 This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?” God’s Spirit touches our spirits and confirms who we really areYes, life with God is never boring! And our relationship with God is alive and adventurous! It is an intimate connection!

8:15 Footnote: Abba is not a Greek word, but an Aramaic word transliterated into Greek letters. Abba is the Aramaic word for “father.” It is also found in Mark 14:36 and Gal. 4:6. Abba is also a word used for devotion, a term of endearment. This is why some have concluded that Abba could be translated as “Daddy” or “Papa.” It is hard to imagine a closer relationship to have with God than to call him “Abba, our Beloved Father.”

I love the words that talk about how our relationship has true intimacy.  Did you know? or did you ever think that our God relationship can be a beautiful intimacy shared with a divine God? It is quite a wonderous thought, aye? And it is truly possible. Oh dear friends, if you do not know God's love for you, it is the perfect time to persue it! Life with God is so much better than being ignorant and only knowing the world's kind of thinking. Come search Him out. My book CAST UP A HIGHWAY has helped some to experience truth.  Know God not as a monarch sitting above the clouds impssionately observing His creation on earth; know Him as the warm loving Father who cares deeply for each of us, and who desires a personal relationship with you and me!!

                                                A NEW GLORIOUS MORNING!!

Jesus, my Lord, You’re my God. You love us so much, You even chose to leave the Godhead to come to earth as a man, a human being. But You were not totally separated from the Godhead, because the Father lives in You, and You live in the Father; but there came a time when that was broken ~ You took on the sin of the world ~ resulting from the  the great betrayal, when Adam chose Your enemy over You. The Father could not live in You with that sin.

Father's departure was a crushing blow for You and left a huge painful hole inside. It must have been like when someone we love very deeply meets death. That place inside of us their spirit shared with our spirit, is suddenly empty, and we are bereft, a huge hole inside leaves us crushed. Jesus, You suffered torturous physical pain, humiliation of the cross, rejection of close friends, and then worst of all, this utterly devastating loss of connection with the Father.  What faith You had to have that He would bring You back to Himself again. Even for You it was difficult, but You knew the  Father could not utterly abandon You forever.

Indeed You rose from the dead in glorious eternal victory over Satan. Your sacrifice freed the human race from enemy chains. They could no longer bind! That, my friends is the good news!

This costly gift that Jesus bought for us now lays wrapped in love waiting for us to pick it up. We just speak to Jesus, admitting we are sinners, and letting Him know we want to live our lives for Him now, inviting Him to come live in our hearts. He will accept us into the family of God, and we become like newborn kids. Our journey now is to grow and learn more about our wonderful God and be guided by and live in the joy of His loving Presence on this earth. Following this path also takes us into an eternity in Heaven with Jesus!

In these days of fear creating chaos, where have we to go? This Coronavirus refuses to be controlled by man. It’s pandemic and continues to consume people’s lives; it is out of control. Where is one to go?

We go to Him who is in control, and that would be God Almighty.  However, how does one do that? If you have never established a relationship with Him before, You can begin one today. Did you know He is not some dignitary sitting above the clouds on a throne just observing the world and His creation?

God is the Creator of the beautiful flowers and trees, and the critters that are mutually sustaining. He made all the beasts of every shape, color, and character. And He made mankind and all the marvelous parts of us, both male and female. And He gave a purpose to each one of us. He watches over us with love.

A few montths ago, my computer automatically updated my blog program. When I next went to work on it, nothing was the same. I could not do anything. I was not a happy camper. So when I next had time, I went to a past source that alwauys helped me, only to hear the discouraging word that this was not their program and they were uunable to help me. Finally I discovered who designed the program, and they were able to lead me through it. I am a happy camper again! What is happening now in the world is similar. Seemly almost  automatically, the world has changed to a new strange reality. But you know the answer is to our questions of how to live in the new reality is similar to my situation. It is God that is above the new reality; He did not bring it, but He knew it was coming. Yes  He still loves us; it's not punishment for the world [perhaps for some].

I can just hear the comments, “It does not feel like love. How does this Coronavirus fit into the ‘love’ picture?” There are many things our finite minds cannot understand; remember God is looking at the entire world. He is also calling all men to come into relationship with Him. The understanding will not come to those who are sitting trying to figure it out with their own natural brains. It will not compute. The”program must be updated to a new level”. Then greater comprehension will develop. God has the understanding of this new level. If we contact Him, He can lead us through it all.

The new level is a complete revamping; it is all things made new. We are made new and capable of a much wider view of what life is all about. We move from a natural world view to a supernatural one which opens up a wide vista of God sharing His vision with us. From this perspective life becomes an exciting love walk.

My friend, if this appeals to you or makes you curious, it is not difficult for you. My book Cast Up A Highway can guide you; or if You go to a quiet place and talk to God. Just be honest. . . “God I don’t know much about this; I don’t know if I even believe in You, but if its possible to have this kind of relationship with You, I want it. Will You lead me to a new way of thinking? I know they say Your Son Jesus came to earth and paid the punishment for all my sin, and I no longer carry the guilt when I accept this gift of Jesus.”

That is correct. This is Good Friday when we recall Jesus sacrifice of Himself for us. He paid your debt. By inviting Jesus to be the ‘King of your life’, you establish a supernatural connection and God will indeed come and live within your heart. Your sins have been forgiven. You begin a new reality: You become a member of God's family and grow in that relatioship inheriting His promises.

See some of God Promises in Psalm 91 from the Bible [with comments in blue]

Psalm 91 New International Version (NIV)

1 Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High
will rest in the shadow of the

Almighty.  Father, Almighty! Holy Spirit, please help me to stay stable, fixed, and close to You. You are my Mentor who teaches me and corrects me. If I need to change my mind, attitude, or words please speak to me, tell me.

2 I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust!

3 For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. I am delivered!

4 [Then] He will cover you with His pinions, and under His wings shall you trust and find refuge; His truth and His faithfulness are a shield and a buckler. Psalm 91:4 Or “wings.” Also found in the next sentence, “under his wings,” which speaks not of God having wings, but of the wings of the cherubim resting on the mercy seat. The implication is that we can always come to the mercy seat and rest without fear.

5 I shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day,

6 Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. This verse seems to apply to today

7 A thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, but it shall not come near you.

8 Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked.

9 Because you have made the Lord your refuge, and the Most High your dwelling place,

10 There shall no evil befall you, nor any plague or calamity come near your tent. Verses 5–6 are seen by many Jewish scholars as a reference not merely to pestilence and natural dangers but to the realm of spiritual darkness that would come against God’s servants. These spirits are equated to “arrows that fly in daytime” or “a pestilence that walks” in the darkness. God’s sheltered ones are kept from the harm that could come from natural sources or supernatural sources. What a wonderful place to hide and be secure!

11 For He will give His angels [especial] charge over you to accompany and defend and preserve you in all your ways [of obedience and service].

12 They shall bear you up on their hands, lest you dash your foot against a stone.

13 You shall tread upon the lion and adder; the young lion and the serpent shall you trample underfoot.

Here I am personalizing it. We can do this, claiming the promises for  ourselves.

14 Because she has set her love upon Me, therefore will I deliver her; I will set her on high, because she knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness—trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake her, no, never].

This promise is repeated in other places in the Bible, for example:

Hebrews 13:6 (AMP). . . for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

15 She shall call upon Me, and I will answer her; I will be with her in trouble, I will deliver her and honor her.

16 With long life will I satisfy her and show her My salvation.

Dear ones, give some thought to this promise and all of God's Word; it can bring you peace in this time of turmoil.

Good morning my precious Lord, my God, my All. I love You! I do not know what Your plan is for these days, nor how You will use the current circumstances, BUT I do know this about You Lord:

Isaiah 55:8-9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways,” declares the Lord. “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.

And I know this:

You, Jesus, love me and I love You! You are the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Everything concerning us is in Your hands, so we should not be concerned for ourselves. Lord, I know You love us with a boundless love, and every second You are thinking of us. David knew You Lord, and here is what he shares:

Psalm 139:15-18 (AMPC)

15 My frame was not hidden from You when I was being formed in secret [and] intricately and curiously wrought [as if embroidered with various colors] in the depths of the earth [a region of darkness and mystery].

16 Your eyes saw my unformed substance, and in Your book all the days [of my life] were written before ever they took shape, when as yet there was none of them.

17 How precious and weighty also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them!

18 If I could count them, they would be more in number than the sand. When I awoke, [could I count to the end] I would still be with You.

Yes God’s love for us is always with us. Why would we fear or be anxious? Unless one has reduced God to human thoughts and powers and put him n a box, there is no reason to fear. He created the universe. Adam sinned and spoiled perfection for us human beings, but God knew he would, and even  before sin, God planned to send Jesus to bring love to us, to teach us, to cleanse us of sin, to free us from satan’s clutches restoring righteousness to us; in so doing we are made new creations, born again to enable us to see truth, to be made part of God’s family. He cares for us more than we can care for our family. So of course, He will never abandon us now or in the future.

Hebrews 13:5 (AMPC)5 Let your [a]character or moral disposition be free from love of money [including greed, avarice, lust, and craving for earthly possessions] and be satisfied with your present [circumstances and with what you have];

for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

If God has made a promise, He cannot break it. We can receive it or deny it, but know when we believe God, His promises are ours to grip tightly and not let go. Stand on His promises and we will have nothing to fear!

What causes us to be afraid? The enemy brings lies to our concepts using worldly logic and the media to cast trepidation and anxiety into us. Watching news all day about the virus and the deaths, and a negative future ~ fills our minds with negatives. Then it’s often the middle of the night when the devil  attacks, and bad news from the day's input rolls over and over like a roll-a-dex in our thoughts robbing us of healing sleep.

To counteract this we must fill our mind with positive Scriptures like those just above, and in the middle of the night attacks, speak them back to ourselves. “God loves me. He promises to take care of me and my family. He will never leave me without support! etc.”

The future holds many secrets, and in the world of today, it can be scary. We are facing a future without controls. It is an unknown like never before. The best, and in my humble opinion, the only answer is God. He knows the future AND He knows what is best for us. Anyone who does not have a relationship with God, I would highly advise that you begin to seek Him to truly know Him. He is a joy! He is with us constantly to protect us and care for us. When we are in relationship with HIm, we go to Him and He responds to us; we can have intercommunication with Him. You can’t know if you don’t try. Oh my friends, do not waste this opportunity to seek Him.
Go to a quiet private place and call on Him telling Him of your eager desire to know Him.

Woke up at 4:00 this morning and the wheel of worry began spinning in my brain. They took my money; can i get it back? Thankfully, I’m getting the knack of trusting my Lord. So my mind went to ~ My power is limited, but God’s power is unlimited. I then found a Psalm of David for help:

Psalm 18:1-2 (NIV)

For the director of music. Of David the servant of the Lord. He sang to the Lord the words of this song when the Lord delivered him from the hand of all his enemies and from the hand of Saul. He said

1 I love you, Lord, my strength.

2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my Rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield[b] Or Sovereign and the horn[c] [Horn here symbolizes strength. of my salvation, my stronghold].

I find David’s words, and they give me strength:

1 I love you, Lord, my strength.

2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer;
my God is my Rock, in whom I take refuge,
my shield[b]  Or Sovereign and the horn[c] [Horn here symbolizes strength. of my salvation, my stronghold].

As I traverse through this anxious time, I turn to my Lord for strength. He is my salvation. He removes the tension from my stomach, causes my shoulders to relax. I give Him my worry putting the whole situation in His hands, for He knows how it should work out for my good:

Romans 8:28 (TPT)

So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.

Trusting in God to work out the problem, I speak to my God. “Lord thank You for solving things so well. You love me my Father.” (This I know because He said so in His Word to me [and you as well)!

God would say to us:

My children, do not fear! In this time of uncertainty, remember it is no surprise to Me!. I have plans for you and for your nation. Rather than fear, lift your eyes to Me! See how I love you? See how faithful I have been to you? I keep my promises. My children, do not fear; just trust Me!

Psalm 18:2 from above "Horn"  symbolizes strength.

(One of my favorite Psalm verses) is:                                                                                               Psalm 138:8 He will perfect that which concerns me.

Then another Psalm of trust and  love:

 Psalm 139:5-10

You go before me and follow me.

You place your hand of blessing on my head.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too great for me to understand!

7 I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from your Presence!

8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;

if I go down to the grave, you are there.

9 If I ride the wings of the morning,

if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

10 even there your hand will guide me,

and your strength will support me.

You are always with me. You will guide me.

You will always be my support. Your strength

upholds me, protects me, supports me.

You can see David's love for the Lord!

Psalm 18:1-2 TPT

Lord, I passionately love you and I’m bonded to you, [c]
for now you’ve become my power!

2 You’re as real to me as bedrock beneath my feet,
like a castle on a cliff, my forever firm fortress,
my mountain of hiding, my pathway of escape,
my tower of rescue where none can reach me.

My secret strength and shield around me,
you are salvation’s ray of brightness shining on the hillside,[d]
always the champion of my cause.

Psalm 18:1 This magnificent poem is so important to the Holy Spirit that it appears twice in the Bible. You will find it again in 2 Sam. 22.

God is God. In this time of fear and lack of control ~ yes we like to be in control ~ but this virus cannot be controlled. So it all boils down to trust. If we want to maintain peace in our lives, our only choice is to trust the Almighty. If you do not know Him, then it’s time to seek Him. Seek and you shall find. You can leave me a message.

Today I am puzzling out my relationship with the person OF Jesus, Second Person of the Holy Trinity. Can’t fool You, God. You know all our thoughts, so there is no secret between us. I remember one time as a child trying to fool my Dad. At breakfast I replaced the sugar with salt. He did not think it was funny. He kinda knew what I had done, and asked me. I remained quiet. That would not work with You Lord, but I wonder how many people think they can get away with it? Fake Christians? Think if we put on a good show it will make us

. . . what? Sunday morning church goers, but cheating or being unkind to others during the week?

God sees our hearts, and this is what is most meaningful to Him. What we say and do pours out of the heart, and reveals where we stand in our God relationship.

Speaking of which, “Good morning my Lord and my God! You are so magnificent and I can do nothing but praise and worship You. Sounds good and is almost true. . .  except I have communion with Holy Spirit and He teaches and talks to me, and I to Him. Sometimes we even laugh together. I love Holy Spirit and He loves me. Jesus loves me too. He died and went thru excruciating suffering to pay my sin debt and free me from satan’s clutches. And now

Your Word, Jesus,  told me You love me, but  Jesus, I want to reconnect on a deeper level with You. Holy Spirit, You always point me to Jesus, so please give me Scripture to help.

John 14:5-15 (NIV)      Jesus the Way to the Father

5 Thomas said to him, “Lord, we don’t know where you are going, so how can we know the way?”

6 Jesus answered, “I Am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.7 If you really know Me, you will know[a] my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.”

8 Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.”

9 Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen Me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? 10 Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me?

The words I say to you I do not speak on my own authority. Rather, it is the Father, living in Me, who is doing his work. 11 Believe me when I say that I am in the Father and the Father is in Me; or at least believe on the evidence of the works themselves.

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in Me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in My Name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

15 “If you love me, keep my commands.  15 “Loving me empowers you to obey my commands.TPT

Lord, You are teaching me that if I know the Father, I know Jesus. Seems their intermingling is complete. To know the Father is to know Jesus; therefore, I have a deep intimacy with Jesus, as I do with the Father. So there is no separation. They are one, and yet they are individuals. All the love of the Father flows thru You, Jesus. Oh Jesus, that must have been Your biggest challenge and deepest pain when the sin of the world came on You on the cross, and the Father had to leave You. Jesus at that time You thought of me, and chose to suffer to bring me into the Kingdom. Thank You Jesus. You love me today in my current state, which I hope is on the right road with You. Be with me now Jesus and let us converse.

Help me Jesus to flow in Your grace. Jesus, to separate You from the Father is actually impossible; yet You are the Second Person of the Trinity, so You have a separate identity from the Father too. Teach me about Yourself Jesus; communicate with me my loving Lord, help me in understanding our relationship.

You Jesus are the Rock that I stand on for safety, security, rest, protection, power. Yes You Jesus are the power.

Zephaniah 3:16-17

On that day they will say to Jerusalem,

“Do not fear, Zion;  do not let your hands hang limp.

17 The Lord your God is with you,

    the Mighty Warrior who saves.

He will take great delight in you in His love He will no longer rebuke you,

but will rejoice over you with singing.”

Now that is relationship! I am so unworthy of your love, but You have forgotten  my offenses, and because I have accepted Jesus, Your Son, as my Lord,  I am seen by my God as rghteous.  He is the King of Kings! AMEN.

Peter 1:19 NIV

We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts

The Passion Translation
[ Prophecy ]

And so we have been given the prophetic word—the written message of the prophets, made more reliable and fully validated by the confirming voice of God on the Mount of Transfiguration. And you will continue to do well if you stay focused on it. For this prophetic message is like a piercing light shining in a gloomy place until the dawning of a new day, when the Morning Star rises in your hearts.

I could not resist this verse. It almost sounds like a prophecy for today ~

Zechariah 14:20-21

On that Day, the Big Day, all the horses’ harness bells will be inscribed “Holy to God.” The cooking pots in the Temple of God will be as sacred as chalices and plates on the altar. In fact, all the pots and pans in all the kitchens of Jerusalem and Judah will be holy to God-of-the-Angel-Armies. People who come to worship, preparing meals and sacrifices, will use them. On that Big Day there will be no buying or selling in the Temple of God-of-the-Angel-Armies.

All across the country”—God’s Decree—
    “two-thirds will be devastated
    and one-third survive.
I’ll deliver the surviving third to the refinery fires.
I’ll refine them as silver is refined,
test them for purity as gold is tested.
Then they’ll pray to me by name
    and I’ll answer them personally.
  I’ll say, ‘That’s my people.’
    They’ll say, ‘God—my God!’”

However, I just heard this morning that they have found a cure for the Coronavirus. They still want it tested, but it looks very promising.  Now we can get back to work! Hallelujah!

You are a God of Justice, my Lord, but also of mercy and love.

 John 12:35    The Passion Translation

Jesus replied [to the disciples], “You will have the light shining with you for only a little while longer. While you still have me, walk in the light, so that the darkness doesn’t overtake you. For when you walk in the dark you have no idea where you’re going.

Jesus, You are the light. You show us the path in the darkness. We can walk with full confidence in the dark, because You, the light, guide us.  We can trust You! You are the Light! You enable me to see. You clear my vision. Thank You Jesus, that You clear my eyes to see 20 / 20  sharply!

Jesus You are the second Adam. The first Adam disobeyed You, Lord; he succumbed to Satan’s wiles and stole our birthright. You, as the second Adam, reversed the curse and paid the price for Adams traitorous action; he betrayed You, God, and the whole human race. You,  Jesus, chose to redeem us, pay the price for his betrayal. Man betrays the divine; only a divine One can pay the just punishment for this man’s disobedient unfaithfulness. He chose to believe God’s enemy, satan, rather than God. And You Jesus were the only solution, the only One who could break the chains that satan used to bind us. Now satan’s hold over us is null and void.

Jesus You chose to undergo the necessary pain and disgrace by becoming human. You then spent time as a man on earth rather than the divine Son of God all because You love us so much! You came, You taught, You redeemed, You brought the Light of salvation to us, even when we were totally unworthy.

Thank You! Now You rose from the dead proving Your divinity and making our way to an eternity with You clear and sure!

Total trust in You will bring about only good in our lives. Lord we shall endeavor to live our life to please You. We shall trust You to walk with us through the storms, and You shall quiet the winds, and the waves shall not overcome us! We place our trust in You. This plague is no surprise to You and when we trust in Your Word, we will be saved and protected by You ~

Isaiah 43:1-2      New International Version

[ Israel’s Only Savior ] But now, this is what the Lord says— he who created you, Jacob, he who formed you, Israel: “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;  [He has redeemed us]

I have summoned you by name; you are Mine.  (i am His! He calls me by name)

2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned or scorched, nor will the flame kindle upon you.

Romans 8:28 The Passion Translation (TPT)

28 So we are convinced that every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan of bringing good into our lives, for we are his lovers who have been called to fulfill his designed purpose.

Romans 8:28 Or that all things work together for good to those who love God, who; or that in all things God works together with those who love him to bring about what is good—with those who love Him!

                                       We trust You Holy God!

Help me get into a pattern Lord, so I have more time with You. It's dfficult to be in the middle of a consuming project and remember my first love ~ my Lord and my God. Yes it happened these last few months. Redecorating the house and putting in a new kitchen ~  stress and pressure were the working demons. It took a while, but finally I got it ~ How about letting God in on this project?

Hello!! Smetimes the lights go out and I sit in the dark. Finally the spotlight comes on and I recall that Jesus is my helper. That Father God is a Master Builder and delights in helping US. Just look what He says in:

Hebrews 13:5   [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax My hold on you)! [Assuredly not!]

Thank You for loving me so devotedly. You are my Daddy and so You teach me and defend me and watch over me constantly. Thank You!

I trust in You my God for every situation.  You are faithful.

Isaiah 25:1 NIV

[ Praise to the Lord ] Lord, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done wonderful things, things planned long ago.

Long ago You planned wonderful things for me!

Hebrews 13:6 AMP

Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have;

6 So we take comfort and are encouraged and confidently say,

“The Lord is my Helper [in time of need], I will not be afraid.

What will man do to me?”

You are faithful Lord! To You I come and bow down before running to my PAPA for a good morning hug. I love You Papa.“ I love you too my Mary. yes I know you by name.” Yes my Lord and I am Yours!

Isaiah 43:1“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity;

I have called you by name; you are Mine!

AS Your beloved child, I ask You to be with me so we can do Your work, Your will together this day! It’s in Your hands

Also Lord show me where You need me to change. I am Yours to direct. I want to be all You designed me to be. Work in me. Thanks Papa

New Life in Christ

Colossians 2:1-10 The Passion Translation (TPT)

Paul’s Love for the Colossians

1 I wish you could know how much I have struggled[a] for you and for the church in Laodicea, and for the many other friends I’ve yet to meet.

2 I am contending for you that your hearts will be wrapped in the comfort of heaven and woven together into love’s fabric. This will give you access[b] to all the riches of God as you experience the revelation of God’s great mystery—Christ.

Love the way this is stated: "woven together into love's fabric". What do you think?

3 For our spiritual wealth is in him, like hidden treasure waiting to be discovered—heaven’s wisdom and endless riches of revelation knowledge. And then this one also ~ our spiritual wealth, our hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered!!  It's heaven's wisdom and the endless riches of revelation knowledge! Wow!

4 I want you to know this so that no one will come and lead you into error[c] through their persuasive arguments and clever words. 5 Even though I’m separated from you geographically, my spirit is present there with you. And I’m overjoyed to see how disciplined[d] and deeply committed you are because you have such a solid faith in Christ, the Anointed One.

Praise God!

FOOTNOTE: Colossians 2:5 The Greek text literally means “unbroken battle formation.” The Aramaic can be translated “organized” or “principled

My friends, all over the Bible one can find evidence of God’s love. Seek more and you shall find. May your mind be predisposed to discover them and record these wonderful passages. They will exult your life! Study and meditate on them. Enjoy a love conversation with God! Ask Holy Spirit to expand and explain them to you. It will be a marvelous life study!

Psalm 139:14-18

How thoroughly you know me, Lord!

15 You even formed every bone in my body

when you created me in the secret place,[e]

carefully, skillfully shaping me[f] from nothing to something.

Mighty God had His hand in our creation and in every baby's creation.

He values each one from their coneption. Yet we feel free to murder them

if they don't fit into our plans. Really?

16 You saw who you created me to be before I became me![g]

Before I’d ever seen the light of day,

the number of days you planned for me

were already recorded in your book.[h]

17–18 Every single moment you are thinking of me!

How precious and wonderful to consider

that you cherish me constantly in your every thought!

O God, your thoughts toward me are more

than the grains of sand on every shore!

When I awake each morning, you’re still with me!

Lord, I thank You for Your perfect care of me. Yet sometimes I lose focus: yeah like~

Lord i’m running around this morning doing stuff instead of focusing on You.

Let's try again:

Hello my Precious Lord! I did some better this morning. You are the lover of my soul, the bringer of victory. Your very name has power, Jesus! Your love is over flowing! I'm feeling it in my heart. You put a smile on my face. In Your love for me there courses healing in every way. You even forgave my mistakes, my sins, and paid off my debt.

You make a way where there seems to be no way. Lord thank You for finding a way to make furniture go away and the debris. You can do all things! This morning Lord I return to trusting You more deeply. You love us and will not leave us in a bind… I will do what You tell me.

2 Kings 18:5-6 The Message (MSG)

5-6 Hezekiah put his whole trust in the God of Israel. There was no king quite like him, either before or after. He held fast to God—never loosened his grip—and obeyed to the letter everything God had commanded Moses. And God, for His part, held fast to him through all his adventures.

Psalm 37:23-24 (MSG)

Stalwart walks in step with God;

his path blazed by God, he’s happy.

If he stumbles, he’s not down for long;

God has a grip on his hand.

Thank You Lord for keeping a grip on me! I need You every day!

Psalm 63:1 (TPT) Thirsting for God

For the Pure and Shining One

King David’s song when he was exiled in the Judean wilderness

1 O God of my life, I’m lovesick for you in this weary wilderness.

I thirst with the deepest longings to love you more,

with cravings in my heart that can’t be described.

Such yearning grips my soul for you, my God!

My Lord, I repent. I have allowed Your gift of a new kitchen to steal away my desperate thirst for You. All the demands have left me consumed with them instead of You. I am truly sorry. Please help me to return all my desires to consulting You, that I might trust in You alone. It is my sincere desire to grow stronger in You, and not allow the challenges of life to overwhelm my trust in You.

Despite my letting chaos separate my ‘life’ from You, You held a strong grip on me and are now pulling me back on Your path again. I love Your faithfulness Lord. You are so good!

Psalm 63:8

The Passion Translation

With passion I pursue and cling to you. Because I feel your grip on my life, I keep my soul close to your heart.

Amen Lord. Reminds me of the centurion who told Jesus; “I believe! Help my unbelief!” I want my soul always close to Your Heart. Help me Holy Spirit to come to a closeness to Your heart. Grip my soul!

Psalm 89:5-18

The Message

God! Let the cosmos praise your wonderful ways, the choir of holy angels sing anthems to your faithful ways! Search high and low, scan skies and land, you’ll find nothing and no one quite like God. The holy angels are in awe before him; he looms immense and august over everyone around him.

God-of-the-Angel-Armies, who is like you, powerful and faithful from every angle? You put the arrogant ocean in its place and calm its waves when they turn unruly. You gave that old hag Egypt the back of your hand, you brushed off your enemies with a flick of your wrist. You own the cosmos—you made everything in it, everything from atom to archangel. You positioned the North and South Poles; the mountains Tabor and Hermon sing duets to you. With your well-muscled arm and your grip of steel— nobody trifles with you!

The Right and Justice are the roots of your rule; Love and Truth are its fruits. Blessed are the people who know the passwords of praise, who shout on parade in the bright presence of God.

Delighted, they dance all day long; they know who you are, what you do—they can’t keep it quiet! Your vibrant beauty has gotten inside us— you’ve been so good to us! We’re walking on air! All we are and have we owe to God, Holy God of Israel, our King!                                                                                                          Yes my Lord and my God You bring joy into my heart!

Indeed You are the King of Kings! Lord of Lords! You are full of love and grace! You are the majestic ruler of heaven and Earth. There is none like You! Jesus Lord! I want to be filled with Your grace and anointing. Holy Spirit You indwell me, thus I live with Your power in myself. Help me open the door to allow the anointing to flow out. Change my mind and correct any attitude or any soul tie that needs to be changed. I am eager to be about Your work.

Let our new decor be a home of peace; fill it with an atmosphere of Your Presence. I love You my Jesus! I love my Lord and my God!

                                        AWESOME GOD

Sometimes the terrible awesomeness of God hits me and sends me reeling into deep meditation. It always carries its reward of a new closeness with my God. It happened this morning. In the beginning I was distracted with my mind wandering here and yon. Then I ‘woke up’ and commanded it to return. God is so good! Holy Spirit began to lead me in prayer.

Sorry, my Lord. I come to our meeting this morning with scattered thoughts; help me, Lord, to rein them in. That You even desire to meet with me is so amazing! Deep breath. Moses asked God, “what shall I say when they ask 'Who sent me’?” You responded, “Say the Great I AM sent me.” You, God, are not hemmed in by time. For You there is no ‘was, will be’, there is only I AM. Before You I bow down my heart, my 'who I am' I submit to You; help me become who You created me to be.

Exodus 3:13-14 (AMP)

13 And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? 14 And God said to Moses, I Am Who I Am and What I Am, and I Will Be What I Will Be; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I Am has sent me to you!

  • Footnotes: Exodus 3:15 To know the name of God is to witness the manifestation of those attributes and apprehend that character which the name denotes.

Can you feel the depth of that name? 'I AM' signifies so much ~ timelessness, absolute love, supreme power, unimaginable expansion ~ an incomprehensible being, totally surrounding. There simply are not words to express the grandness of Who our God is. HIS LOVE FOR US  S SO APPARENT IN HIS WORD!

Psalm 91:14 (AMP)

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness—trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

Isaiah 52:6 (AMP)

Therefore My people shall know what My name is and what it means; therefore they shall know in that day that I am He who speaks; behold, I Am!

Indeed my God! You are the great I AM! This measures so deep and so high and so wide. You revealed Your staggering magnificence to David, and it comes out here:

Psalm 139:1-10

O Lord, you have examined my heart

and know everything about me.

2 You know when I sit down or stand up.

You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Even when it’s my mind traveling on tangents.

3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home.

You know everything I do.

4 You know what I am going to say

even before I say it, Lord.

5 You go before me and follow me.

You place your hand of blessing on my head.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too great for me to understand!

7 I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from your presence!

8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;

if I go down to the grave, you are there.

9 If I ride the wings of the morning,

if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

10 even there your hand will guide me,

and your strength will support me.

You are always with me.

You will guide me.

You will always be my support. Your strength

upholds me, protects me, supports me.

Lord, You are so good! What a privilege to know You! Thank You that You continue to grow me closer to You. Thank You! I love being together with You, my Lord.
