Cast Up A Highway

Do you remember, as a child, the eagerness inside on Christmas Eve? Or at the arrival at a much loved vacation place? Or the visit of a special friend? It’s that jump up and down excitement with eyes sparkling and a wide grin splitting the face. That is the feeling inside of me when I think about living with my God face to face.
Revelation 21:3 (AMP)
. . .and then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying,
“See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them,
and they will be His people,and God Himself will be with them [as their God,]
God loves us so much! Many think of God as a power living far away and out of touch. In today’s world the enemy is working hard to dismiss God altogether. Get Him out of schools, out of government, out of kid’s lives. We'll allow Him to live in church (for now). Unfortunately the enemy is being pretty successful.
Truth is, God created us as His children to live with us and enjoy life together with us. Our original parents spoiled the plan by listening to satan and betraying God. That original sin got them and their descendants (us ) kicked out of the Garden of Eden. Our God is all knowing and planned for this deception of the enemy. His plan was Jesus. Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth as a man and reintroduced Father God to us, took the punishment for our sins on His back, created the opportunity for the Holy Spirit to indwell us, and retrieved our heavenly inheritance.
So now as these end time months continue to speed by, we are left with some new things to meditate on. Is it true? Are these really the end times? Is that why time has sped up? What should I do?
There are many signs and occurrences indicating that these are indeed the end times. My friends, please know that the absolute most important thing to do is to be sure you have gotten to know Jesus and made Him Lord of your life. Admit you sin, then thank Him for taking the punishment that was our debt to pay. Your sin nature is then washed away, and you are able to throw off the evil temptations of the enemy, and now belong to God with His DNA; You now live your life for Him, and it is a good life! Love and joy will filter into daily living. Building a relationship with God brings new exciting discoveries!
Hebrews 7:25 AMPC
Therefore He (Jesus) is able also to save to the uttermost
(completely, perfectly, finally, and for all time and eternity)
those who come to God through Him, since He is always living to make petition
to God and intercede with Him and intervene for them.
When our last hour comes there will be no fear, only joy at being with God in person.
He’ll eagerly greet us with love.

Seems I need my pride kicked around a bit. I ‘even I’ (LOL) fall prey to evil temptations. Today I awoke with a gloomy cloud over my head; no amount of shaking seemed to loosen it~ until I sat down in my quiet time with my precious Lord. He reminded me that it is my right to evict that evil little demon from my mind and from my home. It had no right here! So I spoke words of eviction out loud in Jesus Name. Then I lifted my hands in praise and worship which was the final boot that kicked the enemy and its evil work away. . .
Holy Lord! Blessed Lord! You are almighty and it’s You I invite into my heart, into my day! Holy Spirit please help me to rise up out of this funk that’s been trying to drag me under this morning. Your light pierces the darkness bringing truth to my soul. . .
The first Scripture He gave me was~
Isaiah 43:25 (AMP)
“I, only I, am He who wipes out your transgressions for My own sake,
And I will not remember your sins.
I know my God has forgiven me and remembers my sin no more. Then a Scripture lit up my thoughts. Jesus often told people He healed, “Your sins are forgiven. Go and sin no more’” Then He healed their mental/physical maladies. So what is Jesus saying to me here? My neglecting to come to Him immediately with the dark cloud of temptation- was it a failure on my part? Was it just tiredness from lack of sufficient sleep? (an excuse).
So what do I do next time I wake up in a hazy mist of confusion? First: Remember confusion is a weapon of the enemy. I fight the enemy as Jesus did with the Word of God; He reminded me first and foremost how very much God loves me. . .
“Do not fear, for I have redeemed you [from captivity];
I have called you by name; you are Mine!
2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you.
3 “For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior;
I have given Egypt [to the Babylonians] as your ransom,
Cush (ancient Ethiopia) and Seba [its province] in exchange for you.
4 “Because you are precious in My sight,
You are honored and I love you,
I will give other men in return for you and other peoples in exchange for your life.
5 “Do not fear, for I am with you;
When the Almighty One claims you as His very own, and He calls you by name (listen and you will hear Him call you by name), what an amazing gift!! Then if you are going through a trial (for me it was a cancer diagnosis), and He promises you:
“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
And through the rivers, they will not overwhelm you.
When you walk through fire, you will not be scorched,
Nor will the flame burn you.
Wow! It doesn’t get any better than that! No matter how fiery the trial, how scary, focus on His promises not the enemy “what if’s”. Then you will have peace and calm. Your trust in Him will bring tremendous rewards!! If you like, check out ‘My Journey’ in Cast Up A Highway.
My friends, I know I’m not the only one who gets suckered into the enemy trap of depressive or negative thoughts. Its how fast we leave them behind that matters. At the first sign of the enemy attack, raise up your shield of faith, seek His Word, and you’re well on the way to a victory. Recall Zacchaeus up in the tree? Jesus called him down to dine with Him. Zacchaeus climbed right down and was blessed!

Good morning, my Lord! I am so blessed to call You “my Lord”! Who am I that You should be mindful of me? I am Your servant, Lord; yea, unworthy though I am, You have called me daughter, adopted me into Your family. You are my Father, God, and I love You. You are so good to me! You love me despite my weaknesses and mistakes. Your love is perfect and all encompassing.
David asked a question similar to mine; I suspect Holy Spirit brought it to my mind~
2 Samuel 7:18 The Message
King David went in, took his place before God, and prayed: “Who am I, my Master God, and what is my family, that you have brought me to this place in life? But that’s nothing compared to what’s coming, for you’ve also spoken of my family far into the future, given me a glimpse into tomorrow, my Master God! What can I possibly say in the face of all this? You know me, Master God, just as I am. You’ve done all this not because of who I am but because of who You are—out of Your very heart!—but You’ve let me in on it.
It’s true; it’s nothing I have earned, for how could one such as I earn anything that would impress my God? No, it’s Who You are, my God. Your supreme love nature called forth mankind, people for You to share Your love. You made mankind from the dirt of the earth then You breathed Your very life into us.
The enemy, hoping to spoil Your plan,
crept into the homeland of Adam and deceived him into sinning against You. But it cannot ever win against You, Lord. You had a plan B, Jesus. Your beautiful Son came to earth and in His love sacrificed Himself for us, paying off the sin debt.
Now as we accept Jesus gift, we are freed from all of the enemy’s hold on us. We are able to love You Lord, and dance in Your honor praising and worshipping You! And Your love flows.
I’m remembering when Jesus healed a blind man. He took some dirt of the earth God created, and spit His sacred bodily fluids into the dirt making mud and smeared it onto the blind man’s eyes.
John 9:5-7 (AMP)
5 As long as I am in the world, I am the Light of the world [giving guidance through My word and works].” 6 When He had said this, He spat on the ground and made mud with His saliva, and He spread the mud [like an ointment] on the man’s eyes. 7 And He said to him, “Go, wash in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So he went away and washed, and came back seeing.
Jesus is the Light of the World. He used His precious body fluid to make a mud to smear on the blind man’s eyes. As we were formed by God out of the dust of the earth He created, so Jesus did a creative miracle using spit, and the same dust of the earth, to bring Light restoring sight to the blind man. I recall thinking it kind of gross that He made mud with spittle. But as I look at it from this perspective it becomes a beautiful thing. Just a thought.
Rereading 2 Samuel 7:18 the last sentence caught my attention ~
You’ve done all this not because of who I am but because of who You are—out of Your very heart!—but You’ve let me in on it.
God sometimes does let us in on things we know not of by our own power. Has He done this for you? Will you share?

God loves us so much! We are so precious to Him! Yet, some walk out their days without one thought of God. Others scorn Him and fight to delete Him, not just from their lives, but also from our country. Many have forgotten or perhaps never even knew the gentleness and magnificence of His love for us.
One of my favorite Scriptures is in the first chapter of Ephesians; it shows God's love as He plans our individual life~
Ephesians 1:3 (MSG)
Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.
1:8-10 He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans He took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth.
God lets us in on plans "He took such delight in making". He made plans for my life and for your life; and as He lovingly made these plans, He took delight in knowing how much happiness we could find, and how close we would come to Him, as we walked out our own personal journey.
Picture Him completing His plan for your life just grinning at the loving surprises He put into those plans for you. . . yes, you. He was thinking of You as He designed a special plan to bring you joy. His heart desires us to have an intimate relationship with Him, and as we develop that, we will experience the true joy. Remember, that does'nt mean without challenges. There is an enemy who will attempt to hurt us every way it can.
Ideas for building this intimacy in our God relationship can be found in the book Cast Up A Highway. ‘Begin a journal’ is one suggestion. The book demonstrates how to begin and gives suggestions for building an intimate relationship through using this tool. The book also speaks more about building a powerful strength within:
Constructing a Strong Inner Core
Establishing the iron-strong pilings has much to do with keeping our heart secure, which happens as we allow the Scriptures to become an integral part of it. God’s Word is powerful, and the more we establish ourselves in God’s promises and His character, the more staunch our heart becomes. God’s Word and faith in it is our first and most powerful line of defense against negative situations and thoughts. God’s Word shows our heart how to respond with force and authority against works the evil one attempts to bring into our lives. . .
God’s plan for our lives is all inclusive~ His love for us has put in solutions for every contingency. If we make a mistake, we can learn and grow from it. When we trust in Him and His guidance, our highway of life will smooth out. His love is so powerful we can put full trust in it.

Lord, all things raise up and praise Your holy Name! Even the little critters praise You. Birds come and sit on our fence looking over the situation. Sometimes they burst into song, and I find myself wondering what spirit inside them is filling their breast waiting to flow forth? What do these little birds know of the Creator? Is it the realization that they are a small part of something larger? If they have that revelation, why not me?
Do we ever think about our place in God’s plan? We do have a role and it is a very important one whether or not we realize it. If that cheery little birdsong might put a bit of hope in someone’s life this morning, causing them to get out of bed and on to work with a new attitude, That new perspective can bring light and they may even choose to accept Jesus as Savior that day~ and all because of a little birdsong. Or maybe our encouraging word to another will help that one through a difficult situation.
A smile could brighten another’s whole day; words might even give them knowledge of God’s love for them. If we listen to Holy Spirit within, we could have a major affect on many. But it is our choice whether we listen to Spirit living within, or ignore that still small voice. It's an important choice in God’s design. If I infect one life with hope and truth, only God knows where that will go! Each of us is IMPORTANT.
One step of obedience can be a life and death choice for someone. We are God’s instrument that plays His love song and calls in the hurting, the sick of heart, the lonely, the desperate. Jesus, You said You would 'never leave us, never abandon us; You hold on tight to us; no one can take us away from Your grasp.' Your love for us is too strong and powerful. Can we bring that song to another?
Hebrews 13:5 [Amp]
. . . being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!”
Lord, You created us for a purpose; we have a specific space in Your plans, a role to perform, a major part. Am I the leading lady? No, not in the grand scheme, but, my friend, you and I may be just that in a person’s life. If we were created to bring one person to salvation, that would be enough. But Lord it’s not my desire to bring only one to know You. So many need You Lord! Our world is a Sodom and Gomorrah today, but You brought a man to us who can be a worker for You to restore righteousness to our nation. Bless and protect our president, my Lord; many of us will stand in the gap for him.
We the people of Your world, of Your Kingdom, Jesus, are willing ambassadors for You. Send us where You know there is need. One time You asked if I would go into the growing darkness for You. I said yes if you will go with me. . . You smiled and reminded me of Hebrews 13:5. Lord, it seems like life is full of so many choices.
My calendar can be bursting at the seams full, but it’s my choice. Time is mine to spend or invest. I’m making the effort to have You, my God, design my calendar of events. I place my days in Your hands. How about you, my friends. Are you satisfied with your calendar? Does it need some spiritual rearranging? Know that I am praying this Scripture over you:
Ephesians 3:16-20 (NIV)
I pray that out of his glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, 17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, 18 may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, 19 and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.

The other morning as I sat talking with the Holy Spirit, He answered a question with a story~
"When God created us, He placed inside each of us a womb."
[Now I thought that was a ‘different’ term to use. Then I thought about a womb being a sacred place where life is begun, protected, nourished until it is born into the world ready to safely take on living in a non sheltered environment.]
"In this womb God plants a holy seed of spirit life which enfolds a desire for Himself, a deep hunger inside of us, a space, a vacuum only God can fill. Our spirit comes alive, but as we enter the 'unsheltered' world, we don't necessarily understand what this true life is, and sometimes we try to substitute other things to fill the hunger; and so as we mature, more seeds fall into the soil of the womb and begin to sprout. Growing in the world can be like the story Jesus told:
Matthew 13:24-30 (NLV)
24 Jesus told them another picture-story. He said, “The holy nation of heaven is like a man who planted good seed in his field. 25 During the night someone who hated him came and planted weed seed with the good seed in his field and went away. 26 When the good seed started to grow and give grain, weeds came up also.
27 “The servants of the man who planted the seed came and said to him, ‘Sir, did you not plant good seed in your field? Why does it have weeds also?’ 28 The man who planted the seed said, ‘Someone who hates me has done this.’ The servants asked him, ‘Should we go and pull the weeds out from among the good grain?’ 29 He said, ‘No, because if you pull out the weeds, the good grain will come up also. 30 Let them grow together until the time to gather the grain. Then I will say to the workmen, “Gather the weeds first and put them together to be burned. Then gather the good grain into my barn"
The enemy plants negative dark seeds within us, lies and deceptions about ourselves, our lives, about situations; he tries to engross our minds and hearts with worldly things, like drugs, sex, food addictions, smoking, etc. to satisfy the hunger inside. These weeds are meant for our destruction. But we have One, Jesus, who came and provided His own blood as a 'weed killer' for us. When we accept Jesus' gift, we are born anew~ the weeds of the hateful enemy are incinerated, and the womb is pure again to grow the original seed of true life into a mighty tree. The Word of God is a fertilizer feeding the spirit constantly with rich nutrients.
This story of life reveals God’s heart. He loves us so much! He does all things possible to engage our hearts with His heart. Answering this call brings the richest of rewards; there is simply nothing sweeter than knowing God~ sweeter, more exciting, joyful. My friends, won’t you join me in the depths of relationship with Him?

A two day trip brought us to a small town in Illinois, our destination for the rest of the week. Our brother-in-law had gone home to be with the Lord, and we had come to celebrate his life.
There is joy and sadness in death. Joy that a loved one had returned home to be with the Lord for all eternity. A sadness that his physical presence would be missed by us earth bound friends and relatives. Even the skies cried with us that day. But the service was a celebration of his life of one who had been lost until he found Jesus. And then a new creature evolved and we rejoiced together. In the coffin lay just a body, no soul, no spirit. It's an empty tent if you will; that's all that's left on earth when one dies. The soul and spirit have moved on into the rest of their eternity. This one knew Jesus, so we knew where he had gone.
What a wonderful thought to spend the rest of eternity with our loving God and our brothers and sisters who have accepted Jesus' gift of redemption.
Here on earth being in the Presence of God is an experience like no other. It is being surrounded in an atmosphere of peace and joy. It’s an intimacy with our Lord and Savior, like spending time with a dear friend, only better.

You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.
Here in the earthly realm it only lasts for a limited time until some worldly concern. . . time. . . duty. . .another’s need steals us away. Yet my God indwells me, so He is always with me and willing to join in conversation or teaching or just be-ing together all the time. It’s my lack that cuts it short. Teach me Holy Spirit how to go deeper so I am aware of and in touch with Your presence constantly.
Already I have relationship with You. I love You, and I have no fear about coming home to You; rather I will rejoice in it. Father, help me to do my job, my mission in the world well. I love You! When we meet at home we'll both rejoice, because I know You love and treasure me too.

Good morning, my Lord! In all things You are wonderful! Looking out the window where last week there were black spider web branches, I now enjoy green leaves dancing in the sun. You Lord designed our world this way, ever changing seasons. Like my life which seems to transgress through seasons too. These end times have brought much variety to life, not always good. We have a good man as president, with evil ones trying to bring him down.
Lord I ask Your protection around President Trump, and your wisdom in him. I lift him up to You, my mighty God, and put him and the political situation in Your hands. Your will shall be done no matter what the enemy tries to do. I ask that truth be revealed, that all the machinations of the enemy be foiled, that all the evil he tries to perpetrate will come back on him and his minions.
Many have God in their own little box, and they believe they can judge Him and disobey Him with abandon. They do not understand that our Holy God is so far above them! I like the Message version of:
Ocean saw you in action, God,
saw you and trembled with fear;
Deep Ocean was scared to death.
Clouds belched buckets of rain,
Sky exploded with thunder,
your arrows flashing this way and that.
From Whirlwind came your thundering voice,
Lightning exposed the world,
Earth reeled and rocked.
You strode right through Ocean,
walked straight through roaring Ocean,
but nobody saw you come or go.
Despite the troubled times, the atrocities of ISIS, the threats of dictators, the evil maneuverings of the enemy, God is still in control, and in the end it will come out as He desires. His wish is that all may be saved, but those who choose to reject Him and His Son’s salvation gift, will be defeated in the end and for eternity.
Lord your goodness is profound! None can even begin to match it. As I listen to the the water cooler talk, I hear people’s confusion. Strike the lightening of truth in their brains Lord. Let it suddenly become clear to them that the enemy and all his fake news and lies is false. Reveal to them Your ways, Your goodness, Your truth. Lord it is Your Presence we seek. When we are in Your presence clarity is evident. We trust in You.
As my friend’s prayer invites~
O, my most exulted Ruler . . .
Father, Spirit, Jesus, . . .ONE
Invite me into Your heart
I will willingly come
I will turn my fears
of such awesome unity to You
I shall accept the change
That such unity will bring . . .
By uniting my will with Yours,
Father, Spirit, Son . . . ONE
I trust, I repent, I rejoice,
for I see the heart of Jesus.
Being united with our God, bowing our will down to His, giving our heart, body, and soul to Him will bring divine guidance, love and joy into lives. I love You; I adore You; I enjoy You; I obey You; I give myself to You, my God. I know You invite us all to join with You~
“I do not pray for these alone [it is not for their sake only that I make this request], but also for [all] those who [will ever] believe and trust in Me through their message,[THIS LINE IS JESUS PRAYING FOR YOU AND I] 21 that they all may be one; just as You, Father, are in Me and I in You, that they also may be one in Us, so that the world may believe [without any doubt] that You sent Me.”
Jesus loves us so much! His joy is to be united with us, that we may be united with Him and the Father. Holy Spirit, through Your power it comes. Thank You! Lord, I join with You in prayer that people will hear Your call to come! You accept everyone just as they are to hear Your call and come into Your heart. They hear, repent, and invite Jesus to come into their hearts, and their life changes; they become new creatures; transformation happens:
2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
Step into a new life of joy and purpose. Nothing compares to being who we were created to be, and living the life we were purposed to live.

Lord Lord! You are mighty and You stand with muscled arm, fiery eyes, a thunderous voice, and a vigorous love in your heart for us. Lord, my God, before You I bow. You are Holy and it is only by Your love and grace that I can approach You at all. Your goodness is a sun of light that pierces my eyes; I cannot look at it. It is only by Your grace that I can have a taste of Who You are. Jesus came that we might get to know You and Your character of love and goodness.
There are times when I wake up in the morning with a grayness in my spirit. My mind is dull, my eyes have no sparkle. Yet I come before my God anyway. Sometimes I just sit. But usually I try to write out a little praise, you know, like “O God You are mighty and good. . . “. That happened the other morning. And God reminded me of a story I heard a friend share at prayer~
Story of the shepherd: Sometimes a baby lamb is born and its mother rejects it and pushes it away. If nothing is done that lamb will die of a broken spirit. These lambs are called bummers. So at lambing time the shepherd keeps special watch to be sure none of the babies are bummers. If he sees one, he goes to it and tenderly picks it up and takes it home, feeds it and holds it often to his heart. At the proper time he will return it to the herd. When he wants to gather the sheep, he calls them, and the little bummers come running to him. They know his voice and have heard his heart.
Jesus is the Good Shepherd. When we are feeling cast off, or rejected, Jesus will comfort us. His love and compassion will draw us in. It’s in spending time with Him that we get to hear His heartbeat and know His voice.
My God is always faithful. When I come to Him with a humble heart and a seeking in my soul, He will meet me wherever I am. I choose to spend time with Him each day waking at o’dark early so we are alone together. Sometimes the enemy demon of distraction tries to sneak in and steal my alone time. But I usually detect it now and evict it in the name of Jesus. Then I can move forward following the Holy Spirit’s lead, like this day when He was showing me the Love of my good Shepherd for me.
I sit and allow the tender love of my Savior to fill my soul. You are giving me rest this morning, Lord. And I give myself to You. As my friend’s prayer says, “I give you everything in me. I empty my soul of me, and I ask that, if it be Your will, You will fill me with Your Word. I give You any illness in me and ask for healing for them. However, if Your plan is to use one or more for the salvation of Your children, I give any to You to use as You see fit. Meanwhile, I live in Your Kingdom and place You as my Holy God, my King of Kings! I bow to Your will.
Sometimes I get too filled up with the world and forget that You are my everything. You created me with intent and purpose, and I bow to Your will. That is my will~ to have Your will rule my life. I know Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP) shows me that You have a good plan for my life~
11 For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster to give you a future and a hope.
I trust You to be in control of my life, Jesus, my Good Shepherd!
Seems even when i feel like a dullard sometimes upon awakening, my God will use my willing heart to fill with His love and tenderness and teaching. Sometimes He just reminds me of what I already know that has been sitting in reserve for a time. He is always faithful.
My friends, do you spend time with Him each day? Have you come to know His faithfulness? I encourage you to set an appointment with Him each day, and make it a priority in your life. The rewards are greater than you can imagine!

Like a child I humbly bow before Your throne my God. I repent that the enemy has persuaded me to doubt You, even momentarily. Now I am up and know that I know that You love me and take care of me. When Your Word speaks:
Isaiah 55:11 AMP
So will My word be which goes out of My mouth; It will not return to Me void (useless, without result), Without accomplishing what I desire, And without succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.
Then when Your Word says this:
But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was crushed for our wickedness [our sin, our injustice, our wrongdoing]; The punishment [required] for our well-being fell on Him, And by His stripes (wounds) we are healed.
By the wounds His body suffered, healing is ours. He redeemed us from sin~ that sin of Adam that came to us through the tainted bloodline is cleansed. When we accept Jesus wonderful gift, we are purged of that sin and all sin. We are redeemed. When God looks at us we are shining bright and pure through that shed blood of Jesus. It allows us to come close to God, be in heaven in His presence. Nothing of evil can come close to God, for it would be destroyed, like paper~ if it's too close to a fire it burns up.
I want to tell you a small story. My dear mother was a truly good woman who loved the Lord! Even after Alzheimers attacked her, she was drawn always to God. I recall we were on vacation one day and waiting to get picked up; Mom spied a church. She made a beeline for that house of God and just had to get inside! Understand, the disease had stolen her ability to speak, but her actions still told us where her heart was. When she was finally freed from her emaciated body, in my mind I ‘saw’ her dancing in a field of wildflowers. Finally her suffering imprisonment in the earthly ‘tent’ was over. She was free and gloriously happy!
That’s what being freed from satan’s clutches does for us. We were held hopelessly chained to sin until Jesus came. By His suffering and death this God/man rose on the third day in victory! He had taken back the keys that Adam relinquished to satan thus releasing us from the devil’s binding grip, and opening the way to salvation for us all.
In accepting our Savior Jesus’ beautiful gift, we are individually freed from the chains that had bound us to sin. Like my Mom, freed from the earthly prison of her body, we are gloriously saved to live in the joyful light of Jesus. We can dance as David danced, abandoned to joy.

Then David danced before the Lord with all his might; and David was wearing a linen ephod. 15 So David and all the house of Israel brought up the ark of the Lord with shouting and with the sound of the trumpet.
My friends, Be released from your prison! Claim Jesus’ salvation gift for yourself! No matter your past or your present, Jesus forgives sin and when you repent of them, He is delighted to make you a new creation. Bow before Him and ask Him to be the Lord of your life. Live free!

Doom to you! You pretend to have the inside track.
You shut God out and work behind the scenes,
Plotting the future as if you knew everything,
acting mysterious, never showing your hand.
You have everything backward. . .
Lord, You put up with so much from us! Then again sometimes You get Your fill, and the dissatisfaction spills over. You don’t want lip service; You don't want fake words meaning nothing. You desire our hearts!
You want and deserve our love, respect and honor! Lord, I bow down to You lifting my hands in praise and worship. You are the Almighty One, Creator of the heavens and the earth; You created me. O God, Your worth is greater than I can even realize or understand. What I know is You love me so much that You, Jesus, came to earth as a human being, giving up Your Divine powers and position.
You came that we might begin to understand Father God as our personal God who loves us dearly! You came to be our substitute in the sin debt mankind owes God; You paid it off entirely. Now we come freely to You as new people, natures cleansed of sin. [Picture made @pdeddy.com]
When we repent and accept You as our Savior, inviting You to be Lord of our lives, we are transformed into new creatures. Our hearts are open to You, desiring to be the best we can be, and wanting to love, obey, and please You as our loving Lord.
Then You also will send Holy Spirit to indwell us so we have our own personal Guide, Mentor, Comforter, Counselor who also loves us. He came to Jesus disciples on the first Pentecost in the upper room. He now comes to us helping us in understanding the Word and other mysteries of life. He is our helper, so we never have to walk alone.
Our God loves us and desires all of us to be with Him for all eternity. But it’s our choice. He has done all he can do for us, and now it’s up to us to make the decision to accept Jesus gift or not. Rejecting Jesus and what He did is rejecting God, and will prevent us from ever enjoying our eternity in heaven.
My friends, if you have not yet repented of your sin and accepted Jesus as Lord of your life, do it today. I want to meet you in heaven! And we never know when our last hour on earth will come.

Holy Spirit. You love us, and we are called to love You and our sisters and brothers too. Jesus, please teach us how to do that well.
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’
Jesus, You even went so far as to say "love your enemies".
My God, You are love. Teach us about love. Yes You have been teaching me about love as I work in the hospital. There are rooms where the people do not look very inviting, or the room smells bad, the injury is bad; no matter, You say “Go in that room” and I go. Just taking a smile and Your love in with me brings a responsive smile in them. Sometimes it’s a conversation that leads to talking about You. Sometimes just listening unburdens their heart. And I leave feeling a love connection with that person. It is such a blessing to me. Thank You for the privilege of working there.
You have taught me that no matter my first impression of people, they are all Your kids and You love them. We are called to love them too. Father, help us to see the good in people we encounter, and to know how to connect with them. In Your Word, the Bible, I watched Jesus heal the lepers even though their disease causes disfigurations. You healed the poor and the wealthy alike. Nothing stood in the way of Your love. You answered the “good thief” on the cross with a promise of heaven that day, because he recognized who You are and asked forgiveness. No matter what kind of life people have lived, be it crime filled or love filled, if they come to You accepting Your sacrifice for them, You forgive them and grant them an eternity in heaven.
You are not looking to punish the bad deeds that sinners do, but to call them to accept the gift You planned for their salvation. Our job is to help them see that You love them so much, Your great desire is to bring them home for eternity with You! Your heart weeps for those who refuse to accept Your Son’s sacrifice.
Lord I ask for the ability to love people as You love them. Holy Spirit, You are our indwelling mentor; teach us. Bring us courage to do whatever You ask.
My friends, all of us are called to love God and our brothers and sisters as ourselves. True love of self is recognizing who we are~ we are children of God, our Creator Father and He considers us His beloved. We are the treasure of His heart. That’s why He sent Jesus to suffer and die for us to pay our sin debt. It was a legal requirement if we were to be able to spend eternity with our God of perfect goodness.

I invited a young friend over for coffee one day. We began to chat. She had been contemplating getting baptized. So, she said, “Why should I get baptized?” I could not think of a better teacher than Jesus; so I let Him speak:
Romans 6:5-14 (MSG)
3-5 That’s what baptism into the life of Jesus means. When we are lowered into the water, it is like the burial of Jesus; when we are raised up out of the water, it is like the resurrection of Jesus. Each of us is raised into a light-filled world by our Father so that we can see where we’re going in our new grace-sovereign country.
Could it be any clearer? Our old way of life was nailed to the cross with Christ, a decisive end to that sin-miserable life—no longer at sin’s every beck and call!
What we believe is this: If we get included in Christ’s sin-conquering death, we also get included in his life-saving resurrection. We know that when Jesus was raised from the dead it was a signal of the end of death-as-the-end. Never again will death have the last word.
When Jesus died, he took sin down with him, but alive he brings God down to us. From now on, think of it this way: Sin speaks a dead language that means nothing to you; God speaks your mother tongue, and you hang on every word. You are dead to sin and alive to God. That’s what Jesus did.
Nicodemus seemed not to understand the concept of “born again”, So Jesus went on~
5-6 Jesus said, “You’re not listening. Let me say it again. Unless a person submits to this original creation—the ‘wind-hovering-over-the-water’ creation, the invisible moving the visible, a baptism into a new life—it’s not possible to enter God’s kingdom. When you look at a baby, it’s just that: a body you can look at and touch. But the person who takes shape within is formed by something you can’t see and touch—the Spirit—and becomes a living spirit.
I explained that it is the spirit that needs to be born again into God’s life. The real us is spirit, soul, and body; we are comprised of all three. We are a spirit having a soul (mind, will, and emotions), and living in a body. The soul and body feed information to the spirit and it determines who we truly are. We are creatures of the world or creatures born of God. This last is our original design. When we first enter this world, we are creatures of the world; but then when we choose Jesus, we are born again as Children of God with His DNA~ He is our true creator FATHER, and with His spirit in us, our perception of life becomes totally new. Our eyes into truth are opened.
We are made anew, a joyful experience! Relationship with God becomes real and satisfying. When accepting Jesus gift of dying for us to delete our sin nature, our opportunities to build an authentic personal one-on-one connection with God are immense. Nothing is more satisfying than communicating with God, feeling His personal love for us. Any challenge that satan uses to come against us can be put in God’s powerful hands and He will take care of it for us.

This morning I was looking at some Scriptures in King James Version and others, and it came to me that social media fits right in. We text message all the time, and we convey many thoughts to friends this way. I agree that sometimes it is misused to convey a thought that should be shared face to face, or at least voice to voice (phone call). . . you know those messages you need to make but don’t want the confrontation like~ “I want to break up with you.”
We as a people are getting too far away from each other on a heart level. I recall a syfi book I read eons ago where a society only communicated via a magnified ‘facetime’. They became afraid to be in real presence with each other. Even babies were test tube babies. It was an interesting study combined with a murder mystery plot. However, I digress. It seems like we are headed that way, at least partially, as we try ‘partial communication’ via words appearing on the small screen of an iPhone.
Look around at kids in school, adults in a restaurant, strangers on a bus. . . some say we shall become a race with hump backs from having our heads constantly looking down at a device in our hand. My writing this morning began with a Scripture I saw that gets down again to heart level.
It’s a relationship that is more important than any other. Can it be text created? Well, yes, in a sense. God wrote His text message to us in the form of a book. I can download it on my device and read it. I can even respond to it in text if I want. God’s words are relevant to us today even though they were texted long ago, for He literally put His heart into His words. See . . .
John 1:1-5, 14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was with God in the beginning. 3 Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made. 4 In Him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.
5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
14 The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.
He knew when the text was created that the words were more futuristic even beyond us. God created them as living words. Yes, because they contain His love for us, they can go right into each individual heart and speak to us there. That is why we can respond to Him in texting too. Just as I am speaking to you by text and you can text back to me. We can respond to God’s love message. The more we become acquainted with His heart thoughts, the greater will be our desire to exchange ours too. This is the verse from the Message Bible Translation that got me going on social media communication:
2 Corinthians 5:16-20 (MSG)
We looked at the Messiah that way once and got it all wrong, as you know. We certainly don’t look at Him that way anymore. Now we look inside, and what we see is that anyone united with the Messiah gets a fresh start, is created new.
The old life is gone; a new life burgeons! Look at it! All this comes from the God who settled the relationship between us and Him, and then called us to settle our relationships with each other. God put the world square with Himself through the Messiah, giving the world a fresh start by offering forgiveness of sins.
God has given us the task of telling everyone what He is doing. We’re Christ’s representatives. God uses us to persuade men and women to drop their differences and enter into God’s work of making things right between them. We’re speaking for Christ himself now: Become friends with God; He’s already a friend with you.
God wants to “friend you”. Are you going to accept or reject His offer?

Planting seeds is the beginning of harvest. That's what we tried to do at our anniversary party. . . plant seeds. Some probably thought it inappropriate, but with so many dear ones gathered together, God nudged us to share the Gospel message with them. We so want our friends and relatives to be with us in eternity, but some have rejected Jesus and chosen their own beliefs. I just pray as death nears their doors, they will think twice about what we said.
Some people seem so proud of their way of thinking and seeing us as 'behind the times'. They say the Bible is just an ancient book, not the relevant living Word of God. They have never met the Savior face to face. They have never heard the Holy Spirit say "I love you". They've never felt Father God's arms of love encircle them. So they reject our Savior calling Him 'a good man', but not as savior, because they don't believe in sin. Yeah, there is no right and wrong, you see. How does one open eyes of a loved one? It hurts to know where their eternity will be if the truth is continually cast out by their pride.
Hell is real. There is pain and agony that does not end. Satan hates us because God loves us; so the devil will use any means to seduce us with lies and fabrications to capture us into his eternity. Once there we will remember that we had the chance to be with our loving Father and we rejected it. That's pain indeed.
There's the story of Lazarus, a poor man begging for crumbs from the table of a rich man. . .

“There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

Lord, I ask You to give me an answer. I will talk with my friends again. Give me Words to speak to them while there is yet time; prepare their hearts to hear truth. Lord, please save my friends!

Isaiah 53:10-12 (AMP)
Yet the Lord was willing
To crush Him, causing Him to suffer;
If He would give Himself as a guilt offering [an atonement for sin],
He shall see His [spiritual] offspring,
He shall prolong His days,
And the will (good pleasure) of the Lord shall succeed and prosper in His hand.
11 As a result of the anguish of His soul,
He shall see it and be satisfied;
By His knowledge [of what He has accomplished] the Righteous One,
My Servant, shall justify the many [making the
[the responsibility for] their sins.
Was it really You, Holy Sprit, that put this Scripture in my mind? My soul resists it, because it says the Lord was willing to "crush" Him. And Jesus was willing to be "crushed", because He knew it would save us. My sensibilities recoil at the word 'crush', but Jesus did not. He accepted it. It was not easy; He sweat great drops of blood in anticipation of it, yet He continued onward with the Father’s plan. Like the olive, crushed for its precious oil, Jesus was crushed for the precious salvation of mankind.
God, You had a plan from all time, a plan to create mankind, creatures made in Your image and likeness that You could share a loving relationship with them. Your loving heart is so big; You are love; so much love needed to flow out.
So here I am, one of Your creatures. Because You are God, You knew me before Your plan was put in motion. Jesus You knew I was one of the ones needing salvation, and You chose to allow Yourself to be tortured and abused so I could be with You for all eternity. You wanted me with You. If it had only been me needing salvation, You would have gone through it for just me. I receive this gift very personally and gratefully thank You Jesus!
Being loved so beautifully is precious like a wondrous jewel shining with lights sparkling and dancing filling up my insides with joy and peace. I think of living in Your thoughts for so long, and now I am here. And You rejoiced as this child was being formed in my mother’s womb, for You knew every day of my life. You knew the struggles the battles I would fight to be in this moment and time. The other day I felt Your smile upon me, and Your approval encouraged me to keep going.

I prize each conversation we have, each nuance of You that I feel. Why You, this awesome mighty God, Creator of the Universe, wants a personal relationship with me is astounding. It has nothing to do with who I am, and everything to do with who You are. This small insignificant creature that I am can make no claim on You or Your love. Yet You chose me and You call me by name and claim me as Your own! When I was diagnosed with cancer, You gave me this word:

You have actually sent Your Holy Spirit to indwell me. You live inside me to connect me in a special way, guiding, mentoring, encouraging me, leading me along Your path for my life. I am never alone. No matter the hurt or storm that moves into my life, You are with me. I come to You in trust knowing You will bring all things together for good.

Lord, time is slipping and sliding by, and I am on the sidelines watching it as I would a flooding river grabbing everything in its way to carry along. I am horrified and fascinated at the same time. Horrified at its roaring domination on its uncaring journey; fascinated by it’s raw power. Time swiftly passing does the same, except there is a power of good that is within my reach.
Your unconquerable power, my God, I glorify! Our world is Your world. You have not created it to abandon it. You did not create this nation to walk away from it. Israel was/is Your favored people and You cared for them. They frustrated You with their disobedience and following of the ways of the world, worshipping other gods. But they repented and came back, and You forgave them. They did however suffer natural consequences for their sinful ways.
You created this land Lord, and You led our early leaders to create this nation. It is Yours. But alas, we are in sin now. We murder our own babies; we accept sexual sin as a normal life style; we deliberately put our kids in harms way with shared bathrooms in schools, we dishonor our veterans. We are trying to remove You from our society, and the church has been sleeping through it all. Lord, I repent for the sins of this nation and ask for Your mercy.
Prayer warriors, let us pray to our Almighty God repenting of the sin of the nation. Let us ask for the awakening of the church, for hearts and minds that have been led astray, that they may see truth. The enemy is so clever in its deceptions, and its nets have captured many fish for its hellish fry pan. We need to stay obedient to the Lord.
Psalm 25:14-15 AMP
The secret [of the wise counsel] of the Lord is for those who fear Him, And He will let them know His covenant and reveal to them [through His word] its [deep, inner] meaning. My eyes are continually toward the Lord, For He will bring my feet out of the net.
My God, You are more powerful, stronger by far, than is the devil. We call for Your overcoming power to reign supreme over our nation. Please Lord, help us! The Israelites wanted a king, and they got Saul. This nation is asking for an evil queen, and we could get Hillary. Lord, please do not do that to us. Remember when Abraham asked you not to destroy Sodom if he could find 20 righteous people? He could not find even 10. We have many more than that in this nation, Lord.
Now, my friends in the USA, we have the privilege to vote for a ruler over our nation. It’s a duty God gave us. We have a say in the matter. One candidate is listening to Christian leaders, the other pushes for abortion, and other ungodly behaviors. Neither is perfect, but which one can God work through? One can be used by God to bring us up out of the sin culture. The other’s goal will set us deeper into it. That my friends is the main issue, that God can work with us again to make our country strong. We have people willing to help return us to our former greatness. World wide friends, please pray earnestly for this country!
In the US we must all vote so God can work here. Please, my friends, this is our God given right to vote; do not refuse to avail yourself of the privilege for any excuse. "I don't like either one" is not an excuse! God often worked through pagan kings and pharaohs in the Old Testament. He has not changed!
Mr Trump can be used by God and has godly advisors. He is an imperfect man, but not as bad as the smear campaign of Hillary’s media portrayal. And God can work with him. Give God the opportunity, and we can bring righteousness back to this nation. Present to God the person He can work through to save our nation. It's a way God can make our beautiful country strong again.

I sometimes fall into thinking I am the king of my own little world. I’m doing ok. Then, I hear a still small voice calling me by name. I want to run away; but dragging my own little world behind me makes slow progress. So, ok I will come; and with that acceptance I find myself before Your holy throne, Lord.
Almost feel like a snail half out of my shell dragging it into Your presence Lord. My little world, my shell, has been my protection, my hiding place. You are calling me to leave my little universe and come out into Your vast kingdom. But its so big, and I’m so small. I glance out and see only nothingness, like a sea of fog. But I know there are giants out there hiding in the mist. Fear.
However: Reality is that I’m not a snail and my own little world of concealment, where I think I’m doing ok (if I don’t look too closely), is in fact a jail with bars of fear. I may as well be a snail in a fish tank.
But I have a choice. For I have received an invitation from the Creator of the Universe to come meet His Son Jesus and learn of Him. The invite is scented with glory and draws me despite my fear. . . Who am I to go into the Presence of an Almighty God? Me, a sinner, an imperfect, messed up, soiled child; why would He be calling me?
I will go and see. Turning, I find myself floating through the mist until I see an incredible light glowing ahead. Brilliant warm colors seemed to welcome me; then my eyes open wide as I feel a love stream of joy. I draw back.
Father, I am not worthy to come into Your house.
My child. My beloved child do you not know that I gave my dearest Son so that you might be saved from the chains of the enemy? That you can now be welcomed into my house? Come meet My beloved Son, Jesus, who paid your sin debt or you.
Through my mind rushed pictures of Jesus’ scourging and cruel death on the cross. His agony crushed my soul. He did this for me.
Oh Jesus, thank You for suffering in my place so I did not have to; You took my punishment, and now my sin is gone, my soul is free to be with You and become all You created me to be. Jesus, I want You to live in my heart and guide my life. I choose to live here in the splendor of Your kingdom where You can teach me and help me grow into the one You already see me to be.
Indeed Jesus paid the price for all of us; He paid off the sin debt. Now we can all choose to accept His gift, invite HIM to be King of our hearts. We can come out of the darkness of devil hatred and into the light of Jesus’ love. With that acceptance my life has taken a paradigm shift in thinking; everything is different; my soul is lighter lifting up in joy and hope and expectation. Affirmation also brought the fulfillment of God's offer to send the Holy Spirit to indwell me and be a guide, a help, a comforter, a mentor.

the Holy Spirit, Whom the Father will send in My name [in My place, to represent Me and act on My behalf],

Believe me, my friends, accepting Jesus as Lord of your life will bring you to the epitome of who you desire to be; for your desire will be His will for your life. God holds you as His own precious child and wants the absolute very best for you. Trust Him! Come! Choose Jesus!

It's not all about me. It's all about how I can fulfill God's purpose for my life. From the time in the womb, God created me for a purpose, and Lord, my God, I choose to move forward in You. With all my heart I seek to actualize what You placed in me. Let me be a lighthouse and You the fire within to warn and to guide.
My friends, our lives are in the hands of Holy Spirit. The Holy Word says to make your body a sacrifice:
Romans 12:1 (AMPC)
I appeal to you therefore, brethren, and beg of you
in view of [all] the mercies of God,
to make a decisive dedication of your bodies
[presenting all your members and faculties] as a living sacrifice, holy
(devoted, consecrated) and well pleasing to God,
which is your reasonable (rational, intelligent)
service and spiritual worship.
My life is not my own. We can choose to go with this directive to dedicate our body to His use, our indwelling Holy Spirit. Yes, I personally do choose to dedicate this body to His use for His work. My own deepest desire is to carry God's love to all whom I meet, and to help lead His kids back into Jesus’ Kingdom.
My mind, my will, my emotions I submit to You. Please Lord, let me be used by You to bring Your saving Word to many. The book, CAST UP A HIGHWAY, was written by You through my hand. It was not an impotent effort; You had a purpose for it. How else can it be used? What would You have me do? Though it’s not really me, is it? It is~ what do You want to do?
In many areas of the world God's kids are going through tremendous suffering. The enemy has willing servants who are murdering Christians, actually trying to exterminate them all. Lord, we lift Your kids up to You, asking for Your hand to come upon them for protection, courage, and wisdom. They are the martyrs we see in:
When He opened the fifth seal,
I saw under the altar the souls of those who had been slain for the word of God and for the testimony which they held.
10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Lord, holy and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”
11 Then a white robe was given to each of them;
and it was said to them that they should rest a little while longer,
until both the number of their fellow servants and their brethren,
who would be killed as they were, was completed.
The martyr’s place in heaven is assured. They are given the white robes of victory! They suffered for a little while on earth, but their eternity is going to be spent in joy. Thank You Lord for all You are doing in them and for them today. Let our prayers bring You ever closer to these beloved ones; that they may not falter in their love for You.
Come, my friends, let us join together across the world to lift up all the victims of the devil’s evil work. See our prayers as lifting a great shield of protection around them; Keep them in Your hands, my God, giving them wisdom and courage.
Lord, bring all of those about to be killed by the enemy to know You in a deep place in their hearts, that they may meet Your smiling face when they go through death’s door, not satan’s evil laughter. Thank You My Lord and God! Let our prayers for them cause Your grace to shine upon them and draw each one to Your heart of love.

Bastille Day Terror Attack in France ~ News release:
On the evening of 14 July 2016, Mohamed Lahouaiej Bouhlel, a Tunisian resident of France,deliberately drove a 19-tonne cargo truck into a crowd celebrating Bastille Day on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, killing 84 people and injuring hundreds more. He was shot and killed by police. . . .
A truck driven by hate mowed down people like so many weeds in a field. Men, women and children were killed and injured. Who is the god of hatred but satan himself? Yes, we have a satanic move of violence sweeping across our world in these last days. Jihadist are led by a hatred in their souls for all but those who would follow their ways.
We pray today for the people of France who are fighting a desperate battle against these murderers inspired by the devil to find ways of destroying God’s children. Yes, that is the origin of all this violence. This is a spiritual attack, as well as an earthly one.
You see, in ancient days before time began there was a battle in heaven. Lucifer, a beautiful angel of music became jealous of God, through pride convinced himself that he should be god. Lucifer began conspiring with other angels and led a revolution against God Almighty.
Imagine a revolution against God. Lucifer was defeated and cast out of heaven. He became the devil we now call satan, and God’s bitter enemy who now casts his traps for God’s children. Our enemy, satan, will be defeated in this battle also!
It began with first man we call Adam. Through deception the devil convinced Adam to disobey God, and that betrayal against God became the sin that stained the blood of Adam and carried to all his decedents.
However, God so loved us that from our conception He planned a way of salvation for all His kids. The sin of our origin, that was passed down through the blood line of Adam to all of us, was a sin of man against God. Therefore, it had to be mitigated by a God-man, and so God sent His own Son Jesus to be the sacrifice that would redeem us.
Jesus came upon the earth born to a Jewish couple named Mary and Joseph. He grew in wisdom and knowledge to become our Savior. After teaching and performing miracles for three short years, He was falsely accused by the devil’s cohorts, then beaten and cruelly crucified on the cross. It is His shed blood that cleanses sin from our blood.
When we repent of our sins, accept Jesus gift of salvation making Him Lord of our lives, we take on a new identity as God’s child with His DNA. With our new nature now bathed in the blood of Jesus we can approach Father God and actually build intimacy with Him. (If you desire this, the book Cast Up A Highway is a good guide) Once we belong to Jesus we will be blessed here on earth and are guaranteed entrance into heaven when we die.

It wasn’t so long ago that we ourselves were stupid and stubborn, dupes of sin, ordered every which way by our glands,
going around with a chip on our shoulder, hated and hating back.
But when God, our kind and loving Savior God, stepped in,
He saved us from all that. It was all his doing;
we had nothing to do with it.
He gave us a good bath, and we came out of it new people,
washed inside and out by the Holy Spirit.
Our Savior Jesus poured out new life so generously.
God’s gift has restored our relationship with him and given us back our lives.
And there’s more life to come—
an eternity of life! You can count on this.
My friends, all this terror in our world shows us that none has guarantee of another day. Many of our brothers and sisters in France never knew that when they awakened on Bastille Day they would die before the day’s end. Please my friends, deeply consider the truths I share here, and ask Jesus to show you the light of salvation so that we can be together in eternity. What have you got to lose?
God loves us so much! It is His desire that you hear His heart and accept His Son’s sacrifice for you. He wants you to live with Him in eternity. The Book of Revelation in the Bible clearly depicts the end of time and the results of our choices. Disdaining God and rejecting Jesus' gift ends up in terrible tragedy with death bringing hellfire and damnation, pain of losing God and suffering under satan’s hatred forever, for eternity. Please do not mess around with this truth.
I love you and want to spend my eternity with you in heaven. Will you meet me there at the end of our days on earth?

SEARCHING FOR A CLOSER WALK WITH GOD
Sometimes the terrible awesomeness of God hits me and sends me reeling into deep meditation. It always carries its reward of a new closeness with my God. It happened this morning. In the beginning I was distracted with my mind wandering here and yon. Then I ‘woke up’ and commanded it to return. God is so good! Holy Spirit began to lead me in prayer.
Sorry, my Lord. I come to our meeting this morning with scattered thoughts; help me, Lord, to rein them in. That You even desire to meet with me is so amazing! Deep breath. Moses asked God, “what shall I say when they ask 'Who sent me’?” You responded, “Say the Great I AM sent me.” You, God, are not hemmed in by time. For You there is no ‘was, will be’, there is only I AM. Before You I bow down my heart, my 'who I am' I submit to You; help me become who You created me to be.

13 And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? Can you feel the depth of that name? 'I AM' signifies so much ~ timelessness, absolute love, supreme power, unimaginable expansion ~ an incomprehensible being, totally surrounding. There simply are not words to express the grandness of Who our God is. HIS LOVE FOR US S SO APPARENT IN HIS WORD!

Indeed my God! You are the great I AM! This measures so deep and so high and so wide. You revealed Your staggering magnificence to David, and it comes out here:
O Lord, you have examined my heart
and know everything about me.

You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.
Even when it’s my mind traveling on tangents.
3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home.
You know everything I do.
