Cast Up A Highway

Recently I was reminded of a truth that I needed. Don't know about you, but sometimes, especially when I'm tired, the enemy can slip a negative into my soul. Not long ago there was an occurrence that looked in the natural like something was gonna turn out bad. It was almost a certainty, a done deal. But a whisper in my spirit said, "Pray". Then I saw this reminder~
"God is not hampered by time and space. Just because something seems to have occurred already, or a decision has been made, that doesn't mean that God can't do anything about it. So my friends, do not stop praying! Keep standing for what you know is right! Trust God. It can be discouraging if you listen to the devil twisting the situation into hopelessness. Rather stand on the God we know loves us; trust Him to bring all things together for good as He promises "

Romans 8:28 (AMP)
And And we know [with great confidence] that God [who is deeply concerned about us] causes all things to work together [as a plan] for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to His plan and purpose. who have been called according to his purpose.
We all face stormy circumstances along our journey. The key to success is in how we handle them. It's a matter of focus. The enemy tries to make the situation explode into something huge and ugly. Our focus must remain on our immense all powerful God who cradles us in His love. He will work things out for us. So being aware of this, we are able to remain calm and trust our Father.
We were never designed to walk through life alone. When we choose, Holy Spirit will come and dwell inside of us to lead and guide, love and protect us. We are connected to God and with this connection we are never walking alone nor having to make decisions by ourselves. We have God-life always present with us, a constant bond.
Thank You, Lord! You have brought my situation under Your control, and I know all will be well!
Thank You Holy Spirit for being my inner strength!

I have seen the enemy’s plans. This whole impeachment scam is just another way to attack our President. The enemy lost the election of 2016, and have worked and planned and schemed to get rid of our duly elected president. He, however, has moved ahead and done a fabulous job for our country despite the enemy's plans to destroy hiim.
"Lord I see this army of evil that has risen against us in this nation. It has been planned for a long time, and continues to rush in to plant it’s evil ideology into our youth. It began by taking over the schools and teaching false doctrines, and continues by feeding the minds of our peoples with lies and deceptions. Now they rally together to rise up against our President to destroy him and our nation. They use many foils to distract and to create disharmony. It has been well thought out and well planned. It has indeed become an army of demons using people to do its work. Lies, deception, distractions. It becomes stronger like dark clouds of a vicious storm seen on the horizon marching forth."
Then one sleepless night, the Holy Spirit began downloading more of the vision into my thoughts:
These enemy schemes have been carefully plotted out over years; and with the last election the architect of hate has put them expertly into place. Oh, yes, the enemy has moved upon the wealth of men like Soros and his puppets to create the battle plans we fight today. All the demonstrations, the fake news, the paid rioters, all were carefully planned out ahead of time. The strategies, the propositions, the carefully thought out formulas of destruction, were all ready to put into action. If we consider numerous distractions and attacks upon our President, the distorted interpretations of his words, the collaborating media, the false investigations against him and his family, one can put it all together and truly see the real picture.
My vision contains it in a very large evil fraudulent globe of hate. It is a scary picture when discovering how massive and well backed, well planned it is. Yet, one thing we know, the devil will never defeat our mighty God Who has not been taken by surprise. God created this nation; it is His; and He will not allow the enemy to destroy it!
We place containment around satan in his globe of hate and devastation; he will not succeed! We see him and his ruination coming soon.
On the side of light the truth believers, the followers of Christ, walk in His ways of love. Lord, let righteousness prevail. Permit the seed of righteousness, from which this nation was born, to live and not die, but continue to bear fruit for all men, in the name of Jesus. For it is by Your design, oh Lord, that this nation came to be.
My friends, this war may be in the spirit realm, but it is real!!
We must be prayer warriors! Ephesians 6 gives us weapons with which to overcome. We can no longer sit back in complacence, or in fear. It is time to step up and do battle! Stand. And pray! Call upon our mighty Lord God to come and fight with us as our Leader, our General, and our Guide. We trust in Him! Truth speaks~ God shall have the victory!!
(Thanks to Dave for the awesome picture!)
(GPAN Prayer) Revive us again that Your people may rejoice in You for then we will not depart from You. Revive us, give us life and we will call upon Your Name. Restore us, O Lord God of hosts and cause Your face to shine in pleasure, approval, and favor on us and we shall be saved. Father, we are confident that no power which earth or Hell could interpose, would be allowed permanently to stop revival from coming to the church and our nation. We know that Your desire is for all men to be saved and to know Your love personally.

High in the sky an eagle soars, his movements purposeful and precise. Without warning wings folded, it dives swiftly earthward until its extended claws grab its prey. Dinner is served.
Lord, You designed the eagle, its warrior face and strength indicating its character. The eagle flies alone or with a mate, never in flocks. You put the eagle character in people too. Isaiah 40:31 compares those that wait upon You to eagles. . .
31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him]
shall change and renew their strength and power; they shall lift their wings and mount up [close to God] as eagles [mount up to the sun];
they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint or become tired.
They who trust in You Father for life and every situation in life will receive the needed power to be conquerors. For as we hope in You and look for Your help, in that trusting and searching, we will change and as we do, You renew the force of our warrior strength.
The majestic bird lifts itself with sturdy wings to the sun warmed cliffs. Here an older bird will pluck out all its feathers, so new fresh ones can grow in, and it becomes young again in power.
We can mount up ~ grow closer to God ~ and when we trust in You, Lord, seek You with all our hearts, You expose our weak and damaged feathers, so we can pluck them all out, which then renews our character, our will power, our understanding, and thus our strength and ability to fight the enemy in every life situation. You become the wind beneath our wings to lift us higher, more deeply embedded in You, the source of authority and wisdom.
Message Bible version:
Isaiah 40:27-31 (MSG)
Why would you ever complain, O Jacob,
or, whine, Israel, saying,“God has lost track of me.
He doesn’t care what happens to me”?
Don’t you know anything? Haven’t you been listening?
God doesn’t come and go. God lasts.
He’s Creator of all you can see or imagine.
He doesn’t get tired out, doesn’t pause to catch his breath.
And he knows everything, inside and out.
[everything about me too]
He energizes those who get tired,
gives fresh strength to dropouts.
For even young people tire and drop out,
young folk in their prime stumble and fall.
But those who wait upon God get fresh strength.
They spread their wings and soar like eagles,
They run and don’t get tired,
they walk and don’t lag behind.
How blessed am I to have You, God, the Creator of the universe, for a loving Father. You make all things possible, Lord!
Isaiah says, “31 But those who wait for the Lord [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] shall change and renew their strength and power; Lord, I want to change; help me keep charged up and a formidable foe against the enemy. Convict me so I have the courage to pluck out the weak places of compromise and fear from my character, then refresh me with Your indomitable power.
Do you ever feel like of adversity pull you down? You know, you surge upward with full confidence, nxt day the enemy pulls you back to the ground? It’s discouraging. Does it happen to you too? What gets you discouraged? How do you handle those situations?

If you watch TV, at some point you must have seen those TV commercials advertising laundry detergent? See two stained shirts and with XYZ detergent the stains come out in the wash totally gone and "our little boy’s shirt is like new". Well that brought to mind how our life works under Jesus. The other day I was journaling and Holy Spirit convicted me that what I was writing revealed pride in my heart~ sinful pride.
So I repented and began praising God and asking Him to:
“Shine through all the dross, the garbage covering my soul. Cleanse me. . . ”Then it hit me~ Oh, You already did that Jesus, on the cross. You cleansed all my sin away. I start afresh, new, a renewed person without stain or blemish. Along with that gift comes the automatic cleanse, so when I do make a mistake~ all I need do is truly repent with my whole heart, and the ‘stain’ disappears.
Holy Spirit, guide my thinking and my actions. Even though You Lord have made me new, I still have human nature that is working, and that nature once was ruled by satan. Now You rule me; I am Yours. You help me overcome the callings of my old nature. You have given me a paradigm shift that permanently changed my vision. I see now where the enemy is trying to lead my thoughts into doubt about Your goodness, Your faithfulness, Your love for me. It’s at these times that I rush back to quiet time with You so my mind and heart can be refilled with truth. You take me to Your Word where truth is found:
Psalm 119:105 AMP Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.
Psalm 16:11 NKJV
You will show me the path of life; In Your Presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.
In the darkness and quiet of very early morning I come to You, Holy Spirit, bringing my typing fingers, writing my desire to sink ever deeper into You. From the depths of my soul rises a cry for more of You. I want to intermingle my spirit with You, because living close to You is my greatest need. You indwell me, and I rest in that joy. Sometimes You are the place I come when I need acceptance, convincing that I’m ok, doing Your will. Sometimes I am confident that I am doing Your will. Then there are days I feel unsettled about it, but I do not live by feelings, but by the Word of God. You are my touching point where I can reach out and experience You; where You, my God, enfold me inYour Presence.
In the Word You, Holy Spirit, bathe me in the truth and settle my heart. I belong to Jesus.
I belong to Jesus. My God brought me out of the world and translated me into the kingdom of the Son of His love (vs 13)
Colossians 1:9-14 (NKJV)
9 For this reason we also, since the day we heard it,
do not cease to pray for you, and to ask
that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will
in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;
10 that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him,
being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God;
11 strengthened with all might, according to His glorious power,
for all patience and longsuffering with joy;
12 giving thanks to the Father who has qualified
us to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in the light.
13 He has delivered us from the power of darkness
and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
14 in whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins.
Thank You my holy God! You are always ready to satisfy my need. Your Presence in Your teaching brings joy to my soul.
Do you come to Him for guidance? Our God loves us so much and is always ready to help us. Do you ask?

God is so delightful! Here I sit on a rainy morning enjoying my quiet time with the Lord. Suddenly, glancing out the window, my eyes behold huge snowflakes lazily tumbling from the sky. I am distracted as I continue to just sit and watch. God is so good! He delights in blessing us with little joys like this touch of beauty! My heart overflows with love for my Father.
Guess its one of the reasons I trust Him with my life. He loves me and is a good Father; therefore, I know this God of all might, wisdom, knowledge and power has the ability and desire to bless me with goodness in all I do and ask; that is, He will give me what I ask only if it is best for me. If He says “no”, I realize it was not HIs best for me. Then I wait for His next move. Trusting my Lord and my God comes easier as His character becomes more embedded in me.
My friends, as life speeds along its course for each of us, I’m pleading with you to give God the place of honor and love and build relationship with Him. Are you going though a tough time right now? Take yourself someplace quiet and bow your head before God knowing He truly loves you with all His heart and wants to be in deep relationship with you. Speak to Him from your heart and take your trouble to Him. Remember the Scripture:
Psalm 138:8 (AMPC) The Lord will perfect that which concerns me;
Jeremiah 1:12 AMPC
Then said the Lord to me, You have seen well, for I am alert and active, watching over My word to perform it.
God’s love for us extends farther than we can even imagine; remember He sent Jesus, His Son, to suffer cruelly on earth to cleanse us of our sin nature. It allowed God’s desire of a close connection with us to happen! As we respond to Him, and His character is continually revealed to us, our communion penetrates deeper and deeper within. Holy Spirit will teach us with Scripture that speaks clearly to us personally. Yes, personally. Have you discovered yet that the Bible is filled with the living breathing Word of God? It is not just words on a page like most books. Indeed the Holy Spirit causes the thoughts and ideas of God Himself to speak to our spirits revealing personal messages to us.
Dear friends, If you have nt done so already, I encourage you today to accept Jesus gift of salvation. Realize our sin nature can be totally washed away, giving us a new beginning, and opening the door for a closeness with God that touches our very souls.

My Lord You have been guiding me to discover Your purpose for my existence: to reach the unloved with Your love flowing thru me, Your Words speaking on the page and from my mouth. There are so many living in darkness these days! Let Your light shine through me. My heart's desire is to serve You.
I’ve discovered that as I go over these 4 blogs on going deeper with God again, they are even more meaningful. They showed me I need to refocus on God’s promises, His Word, again to continue my journey. I know it is a continuing saga until I go home to Him.
Do you feel this way too, my friends? WE go from glory to glory~ level to level. My heart is focused now on going deeper with my Lord. My current 'place' is feeling shallow. I want more! I must have a closer connection with my Lord, and that will require spending more time with Him I know! It is a choice.
Proverbs 2:1-5 (NIV)
1My son, if you accept my words
and store up my commands within you,
2 turning your ear to wisdom
and applying your heart to understanding—
3 indeed, if you call out for insight
and cry aloud for understanding,
4 and if you look for it as for silver
and search for it as for hidden treasure,
5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.
In the Depth series I began to see the truth of this Scripture:
#1 When He calls it may seem impossible; but if He calls, we trust, and He will enable
#2 Name the treasure I seek. Is it the same as God’s will? When the journey seems too difficult, believe His Word; His promises are true! Sometimes the pressure can seem too much to bear, severe enough to even challenge my faith. Always go to His Word and His promises to be revitalized. He will guide me through any storm. He is my Strong Tower
Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)
The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
#3 When I grow weary of the struggle, be determined to reach the goal; be committed to it. Be passionate about following God’s will! Know my own heart to find His heart. The enemy will try to bring fear and doubt threatening with its lies and deceptions ~remember God’s promises in His Word.
Psalm 19:11-14 (MSG)
There’s more: God’s Word warns us of danger
and directs us to hidden treasure.
Otherwise how will we find our way?
Or know when we play the fool?
Clean the slate, God, so we can start the day fresh!
Keep me from stupid sins,
from thinking I can take over your work;
Then I can start this day sun-washed,
scrubbed clean of the grime of sin.
Ps 55:16(MSG) As for me I will call upon the Lord and He will save me.
#4 Trust in the Holy Spirit to lead me along the path He set out for me. Continually seek Him.
These lessons are basic to living in God’s will and gaining wisdom to know the purpose He has for my life! Trust in Him is paramount! Having a purpose gives meaning to every day! Thank You Lord!!
Do you know the purpose for which God gave you life? If not, Go to Him! He brings strength and joy!

Here I am at the bottom of the sea with Jesus and the Treasure chest. It’s been an exhausting swim, but valuable in strength building and learning! Now the goal is within reach. The front of the chest has a buckle holding it shut tight. Releasing it; already escaping from opening cracks is a bright golden light. Gently lifting the lid, amazement fills my soul. What is contained inside looks like parchment encased in translucent golden balls.
Touching one golden globe sends an electric sensation through my fingers. A vision fills my mind. A person I know with a fiery wound in her chest. Tell me Lord, is that physical or emotional?
“Mary, Holy Spirit will lead you; go to Him; He will reveal to you why she is the one who needs prayers". His love flows as He begins to download other details of the situation. My prayers will be a lifesaving moment, a healing touch of the Father for her. What a wonderful privilege to work with the power of God to help people and bring His love and salvation to them.
Eyes closed, I meditate on the Holy Spirit asking for Him to pray through my mouth. Each golden globe contains a plan, a task for me to perform, each laid out along a path. This is the supernatural strategy of God for my life, an objective of purpose and power. (He has one for your life too!)
Raising with the globes through the sea, my head crests the surface, and I eagerly watch the globes' movements; some are settling like buoys, and others moving toward land. I try to keep eyes on them, but their speed is beyond my ability to follow. Lord now what? Smiling, Jesus looks tenderly and reminds me to trust. “All things will come to you at the proper time. Everything My Father has for you, you will find. Fear not!”
Jeremiah 29:11 (NLV)
For I know the plans I have for you,’ says the Lord,
‘plans for well-being and not for trouble,
to give you a future and a hope.
I have found the heart of God, the love for His children and His will for each life. He has assigned me the task of bringing His Word of healing and love to teach His children how to come into relationship with Him. Whispered words fill my spirit:
“Mary you have found your desire. Your seeking has pleased Me. As you walk your journey I will lead and guide you to the places and people who are your assignments. Trust in Me. As you travel I will draw closer to you, and you will live in my Presence. I am your ever present help.”
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.
I discover that it is Jesus words in Scripture to all of us:
Matthew 28:18-20 AMP
Jesus came up and said to them, “All authority (all power of absolute rule) in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations [help the people to learn of Me, believe in Me, and obey My words], baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe everything that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always [remaining with you perpetually—regardless of circumstance, and on every occasion], even to the end of the age.”
This allegory is my journey; yet Jesus will lead you on your journey too. What are your experiences in seeking the Father’s heart? Yes, seek Him with all your heart! Holy Spirit will guide you in your search; He will help you discover your purpose, your personal path, and His heart. Ask with the persistence of a seeking heart, and you shall receive.
Matthew 7:7 [AMP]
“Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.

Lord, my God! Yesterday was the 16th anniversary of 9/11/. We remember the attack of terrorists on our land. You did many miracles that day. You saved many lives~ some through little things that made people late getting to work in the world trade center~
a phone call, a dirty diaper, spilled coffee, traffic tie up. These small incidental occurrences (Your handiwork) saved lives. However many lost their lives that day. It was a day of infamy, of terrorists trying to bring fear to our hearts. However the folks on Flight 93 taught them that they will never win the battle~
We also focused on Flight 93. Those brave men and women lost their lives saving many others. You put the key people on that flight who needed to be there to act to save so many. They are heroes forever! We give You Thanksgiving Lord! Your love and wisdom has saved our nation many times.
I remember one of the many stories that came out of the Twin Towers rescue attempts that captured my heart:
A son had lost his father who went to volunteer to save and rescue people buried under the debris. The son mourned knowing his Dad was not saved. . . until one day months later. His doorbell rang. There stood a person come to tell him how his Dad had rescued them. It seems both trapped for awhile. During this time the person had talked to his dad about the Lord, and his father had accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. Tears of joy flowed down the son’s face. The messenger had brought him the good news he so desperately needed. How like You Lord, that You would cause the salvation of his Dad under a huge pie of refuge as he rescued a stranger; then You would send the stranger to the son to share the wonderful news!
Even in the dark times, You are working Lord! God you are so good! We thank You for continuing to work in our nation!

Somehow Jesus You have sustained me here in the depths of the sea. My lungs are no longer desperately crying for oxygen, my mind is focused on You. You know where the Treasure is, and You are leading me there. What is the Treasure? It’s why I have chosen to undertake this journey. The treasure is discovering what is in the heart of the Creator. What plans? What thoughts? What strategy, proposals, ways has He designed for my life? for the world?
As we swim farther down, the pressure begins to build in my lungs and my head. It builds to a crushing intensity; can I survive it? “Jesus!” I cry out! “Help me.” I begin turning in circles. Where are You Lord? Nowhere? “Jesus, you promised in Your Word You would never leave me, never fail me!”
Deuteronomy 31:8 (NIV)
The Lord himself goes before you and will be with you;
He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
As this thought crosses my brain, it leaves a trail of light behind. His Word is true. He is not a man that he should lie nor the son of man that He should change His mind. I do not see you with my eyes, Jesus, but I know You are nearby.
Then I hear my Lord speak, “Mary, in life you will face many storms, and some will seem so painful that you could fear they would kill you; or the pressure may be so severe as to challenge your very faith. What You have chosen now (to trust My Word) will sustain you through any intimidation that tries to lead you to give up. Trust in Me and I will always navigate you through the arm-twisting harassment, and ease your torment.”
With these words the pressure relented and my body began sinking again as the muscles relaxed. Jesus, You are a tough trainer like a sergeant in the military training troops for war. There is a greater battle coming, Jesus. Thank You for being tough!
Have you met General Jesus? Remember to trust in Him and not struggle against the goads as was the case with Saul:
Acts 9:4-6 (NKJV)
4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”
5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”
Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting.
It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”
Trusting in God and in His Word is the vehicle that conquers any situation! Digesting this truth into our soul is a sure defense against the enemy. Stand fast in your storms! Believe. Trust.

I discovered inspiration in a teaching by Pastor Marie Helene-Moulin, who heads a prayer ministry in France when she says:
“But with the prayer, the Church on earth is an expression of the thoughts of God. And that’s really what we want. And there are arrangements, there are settings, there are ways, there is gold that only can be found in Him. And we have the privilege to be a coworker with Christ. We have the privilege to be part of His work, which means speaking out those plans that are in Him, speaking them out as we are going to do in order for them to be established on earth."
So "speaking out the plans of God" means we must know the plans of God. How can we know the plans of God? Asking this question of myself brought forth this thought: To know God's thoughts and plans, I will have to know God deeply and personally. This desire crying out from my heart led me to the Scriptures~
Proverbs 20:5 says,
“Counsel in the heart of man is like deep water;
but a man of understanding will draw it out.”
The Message version says, “Knowing what is right is like deep water
in the heart; a wise person draws from the well within.”
Deep deep waters. Jesus calling, “Come out into the deep.” Proverbs teaching that the counsels of a man’s heart is found in the deep waters. My heart is crying out this morning. Lord I want to go deep into Your heart! I am feeling like I’m just feeding in the shallows. Take me deep O Lord.
An allegory begins to take me on a journey~
In my heart I 'see' Jesus out on the boat calling me to come. I swim out and follow him as He dives into the water. I’m no great swimmer and my lungs aren’t large capacity, and as I dive after Jesus, a little anxiety niggles in my thoughts. I must follow Him, but what about air? As my body and mind begin to struggle with these distractions, Jesus turns and looks into my eyes ~ 'choose air to breathe and go topside again, or continue down with Me and trust.'
My future hangs in the balance. Do I trust Jesus to sustain me through the endeavor to maintain life underwater, and discover the treasure below in the deep? Or do I return to life in the shallows never attaining the full potential God put in me? Choosing to trust my King, I embark again into the depths. My lungs try to discourage me crying out with a desperate need to breathe. Jesus is nearby and speaks into my heart: “Peace I give you. My peace I give unto You.” Somehow His words go straight to my lungs and they release the tension. I am swimming without pain or fear in my heart.
Jesus, You are so amazing! Your almighty power has found me in the deep waters and is easing my way to the treasure laying on the bottom. Life with You is challenging, Lord, but You are always faithful!
My friends, have you embarked on a journey to the depths to find the heart of God? Is your trust in Him challenged and growing? Follow this trek to discover what God has for my life (and yours?) in Depth 2.

We lift up our brothers and sisters in Houston asking God to provide comfort in this time of great loss. As flood waters decrease, the count of those who lost their lives continues to rise as death claims souls who were unable to escape the flood waters. Some survivors are suffering from lost family members and friends; plus many have lost their homes and everything in them. It's a great tragedy and many in our nation are sending physical help and/or prayers for the flood victims.
Oh Lord, in Your might we ask You to bring special miracles to Texas displaying Your mercy and grace. Lead and guide them on how to recuperate from this disaster. Help them to locate family members and special friends who got disconnected. Lord, You know what they need; we thank You for providing for them.
Dear Lord, it seems the weather is displaying on earth the spiritual battle happening in the heavenlies. This huge hurricane hitting Texas with destructive wind and rains causing flooding and calamity to many is so like the adversity caused by those who hate our nation and our President. Their evil conspiracies will not succeed no matter how many deceptions and false interpretations the enemy plots against President Tump; because our nation is full of basically good loving people who will discern the truth.
Lord God, only You have the answers, the wisdom to guide our nation through various tragedies. We thank You that this is Your nation and You will take care of us. We know we too must change, so we offer these prayers~
More from GPAN:
Father, there is a work that must be done. There is a ministry that must be accomplished before Jesus returns. The time is at hand for we see things happening in the world—wars and rumors of wars, pestilence and famines hurricanes and earthquakes. Men’s hearts failing because of fear. You said when we see these things coming to pass to rejoice, for our redemption draws near. Father, we ask in the name of Your Son Jesus, for Your anointing and power to move in the Church.
We bow before You in praise and worship!

It is so encouraging to get reminders from God! A recent Global Prayer Alert Network letter really lifted my spirits, and so I wanted to share a part of it with you:
The following prophecy was delivered by Brother Kenneth Copeland on October 11, 2013:
Coming to Its Greatest Hour Ever!
“I have seen the worst of them. And all that satan has ever been able to do, My forces,” saith the Lord, “have defeated him. He has not one victory to his name. Not one! Not one! He has not been successful—ever! And he will not be successful now.
“This is not the end of the United States of America. This is the end of the Babylonian, socialistic system that’s been attacking it and trying to take it over for the last 115 years. That’s come to a close.
“I will say this unto you,” saith the Lord. “This is the only nation that was given birth by people who love Me for the purpose of worshiping Me,” saith the Lord. “There’s never been another one. I formed the nation of Israel because I love them. But this nation is Mine. It was formed for Me. It was given to Me and I’m in covenant with it,” saith the Lord. “And it’s not done until I’m done—and I’m through with it. Praise God.
“And you hear people say, ‘Oh, I wonder what this country is coming to.’ I’ll tell you what it’s coming to. It’s coming to its greatest hour ever. It’s coming to its greatest place ever. Amen. I’m going to say that to you again. Satan has never ever had victory yet and he never will,” saith the Lord. I’ve dealt with rulers, I’ve dealt with politicians and devils down through the years that would make these fellows now look like pikers. I jerked the slack out of that pharaoh and I can jerk the slack out of some of these guys around now, too. And that time has come.
“I always reveal My plans to the leaders of all nations. Always. I always reveal My plan. It’s those who refuse to follow it that create the problems and the trouble. Ah, but the change has come and the momentum has swung in the other direction, and it’s going for you instead of against you. And if you’ll begin to praise Me, you’ll begin to see miracle after miracle after miracle after miracle from one end of this nation to the other—from coast to coast and from border to border. I am at work healing the land,” saith the Lord, “so give Me praise and sit back and relax and watch the show!”
AMEN! My friends, when you begin to be weighed down by the fake news and other attacks on our President, remember God is in control. He put President Trump in charge for His own purposes and He will not allow the devil and its cohorts to win this battle! May these words restore you and open your eyes again to the truth! Continue to stand knowing that our God will not be defeated! We stand together and we pray together; God will have the victory!

How sweet is the presence of the Lord! I have been in a recuperation process from surgery. It has been going really well; but the muscle healing gets to aching in the middle of the night and wakes me up. So I usually get up and lay on the couch, take a small pill, and read. It’s a quiet time; it’s dark out. The other night there was a thunderstorm, and what began to glimmer in my mind was the Power of the Lord. Sudden flashes of light, crashing of thunder. As I lay there, I could feel the Presence of the Lord fill the room. How sweet it was! Slowly I heard the storm move on as the thunder became a soft rumble. My eyes closed, a smile appeared on my face, a sigh of complete contentment preceded a deep sleep.
Have you experienced this too? Our God is so good! Peace is a place that is sometimes hard to find these days in our world. But as we realize that God is in control, and there exists more than we can see with our 5 senses, we can find peace. Yes there is another “place”; it’s called the supernatural, or the Kingdom of Jesus. The Bible tells us so:
Colossians 1:13 (AMPC)
13 [The Father] has delivered and drawn us to Himself out of the control and the dominion of darkness and has transferred us into the kingdom of the Son of His love,
It's a "place" and if we have this truth planted deep in our hearts, our faith will lead us to a richer understanding of God’s promises! It allows us to live in peace, because we know that God loves us dearly and provides His promises to us.
By faith we reach out and take them for ourselves. When we understand God is sovereign, none of the evil happenings in the nations will prevail. We as Christians call upon our mighty God to protect us, to lead our President and other world leaders toward peace. We pray God to give wisdom and strength to our governments. Meanwhile, we can live with inner peace.
My friends, God told us~
Jeremiah 33:2-3 AMP
“Thus says the Lord who made the earth, the Lord who formed it to establish it—the Lord is His name, ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and tell you [and even show you] great and mighty things, [things which have been confined and hidden], which you do not know and understand and cannot distinguish.’
There is so much our finite minds do not comprehend, but as we allow our faith and trust in God to expand, He will reveal more to us. You and I were born for such a time as this! There is so much potential in each of us! Let us drown ourselves in the love and wonder of our beautiful Lord God, and thus become all we were meant be!

Matthew 16:25 MSG
Then Jesus went to work on his disciples. “Anyone who intends to come with me has to let me lead. You’re not in the driver’s seat; I am. Don’t run from suffering; embrace it. Follow me and I’ll show you how. Self-help is no help at all. Self-sacrifice is the way, my way, to finding yourself, your true self. What kind of deal is it to get everything you want but lose yourself? What could you ever trade your soul for?
I had to smile when I came across this Scripture in the Message Bible. (This version makes the Word so down to earth). There is no question or ambiguity about just what Jesus is saying here. He is in the lead and we follow Him. It means we submit to God, listen to what He says, and go where He instructs. Many of us rebel when told what we have to do, but following Jesus takes us to exactly where we need to be to live a fulfilled life.
With Jesus in the driver’s seat we have no choice but to go where He “takes the car”; we ride along and enjoy the scenery. . . sometimes. Of course it can also be a drive along treacherous trails; in this case we have no fear, because we trust Jesus in the driver’s seat to get us through the danger safely. That does not mean we don’t sometimes shut our eyes and not look; some situations are really hard! But when we just trust Him, He will always bring us through whatever ‘hard’ we encounter. He is so faithful!
“Don’t run from suffering, embrace it,” I recently learned about this in a close up encounter. The enemy decided I needed to be taken down, so he began his attack with a physical condition that the docs had no answer for, an auto-immune condition. Then a bone on bone hip became a painful problem that required replacement. Date set. Then a growing mole began bleeding. We know that spells danger, but getting in to see a dermatologist is difficult. Bandage on lymphydemic arm caused breakout. Then I woke up with vertigo one night. Next night my eyes were blurry. All these things were at once in a short period of time~ The auto`immune had been around and the bone on bone had been a growing problem for awhile, but once the date for surgery had been set, the attacks increased.
Now I had defeated the devil with Jesus and His Word once before with a cancer attack back in 2005. But I found with all the darts coming at once, it left me temporarily weak~ until a prayer session with some warriors brought everything into the clear.
My perspective totally changed~ I realized that I could trust God for all these things~ He was big enough to handle them all at one time. And as I trusted Him to heal me completely, I would come out stronger and with a whole new idea of healing. This would push me closer to the purpose God had set for my life. I would reach the goal that could have been illusive if I had not gone through this trial. So I now look at these hard times with joy and thanksgiving that God is allowing me to experience these tests. It is preparation for the next level. I'm truly grateful for this hard time.
My friends, you can always put your faith and trust in our God! Whatever your ‘hard’ is, see past the devil plan, and ride along with Jesus just leaning on Him when it gets too difficult for you alone to handle. He is always there to support you! His promises are true!
Be blessed my friends!

What’s it like to have fellowship with the Lord? Can a fish live out of the water? Would an eagle be happy earthbound? Could a bear sleep soundly without a cave? Is an elephant happy alone without it’s herd? We were created to live in a close relationship with our Creator God. There is a hole in us that can only be filled with His Presence. We can only fill our own potential when we have relationship with God.
The enemy, satan, hates God and so despises us as well. God desires us to be intertwined with Him in His love. He made it possible for Holy Spirit to dwell within us; The third person of the Trinity, so desires us to live and work together with Him to save the souls that satan corrupted from time’s beginning. Jesus, God’s Son, chose to become a human man, a perfect man who would sacrifice Himself to pay our sin debt. His shed blood purges our sin nature from us when we accept His gift. Then we can be in close association with our perfect Creator. It's God’s plan~ we can choose to have Holy Spirit actually living within us, a one-on-one guide, helping us.
The enemy’s plan was totally disrupted. Yet it still attempts to capture and chain human souls by lies and deceptions, and too often is successful. That’s where hate and disease come from. In God’s kingdom there is freedom. When we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, we are liberated in the light of His Kingdom.
Colossians 1:13-14 (AMP)
For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in whom we have redemption [because of His sacrifice, resulting in] the forgiveness of our sins [and the cancellation of sins’ penalty].
As citizens of Jesus' Kingdom, we get all the privileges. Promises of the Bible now belong to us. Begin to search the Word of God and discover what this means for you. My friends, if you have not yet begun a close relationship with our God (which is our inheritance), I encourage you to pursue it! You will be so blessed when you discover this marvelous gift for yourselves!

God loves us so much! We are so precious to Him! Yet, some walk out their days without one thought of God. Others scorn Him and fight to delete Him, not just from their lives, but also from our country. Many have forgotten or perhaps never even knew the gentleness and magnificence of His love for us.
One of my favorite Scriptures is in the first chapter of Ephesians; it shows God's love as He plans our individual life~
Ephesians 1:3 (MSG)
Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.
1:8-10 He thought of everything, provided for everything we could possibly need, letting us in on the plans He took such delight in making. He set it all out before us in Christ, a long-range plan in which everything would be brought together and summed up in him, everything in deepest heaven, everything on planet earth.
God lets us in on plans "He took such delight in making". He made plans for my life and for your life; and as He lovingly made these plans, He took delight in knowing how much happiness we could find, and how close we would come to Him, as we walked out our own personal journey.
Picture Him completing His plan for your life just grinning at the loving surprises He put into those plans for you. . . yes, you. He was thinking of You as He designed a special plan to bring you joy. His heart desires us to have an intimate relationship with Him, and as we develop that, we will experience the true joy. Remember, that does'nt mean without challenges. There is an enemy who will attempt to hurt us every way it can.
Ideas for building this intimacy in our God relationship can be found in the book Cast Up A Highway. ‘Begin a journal’ is one suggestion. The book demonstrates how to begin and gives suggestions for building an intimate relationship through using this tool. The book also speaks more about building a powerful strength within:
Constructing a Strong Inner Core
Establishing the iron-strong pilings has much to do with keeping our heart secure, which happens as we allow the Scriptures to become an integral part of it. God’s Word is powerful, and the more we establish ourselves in God’s promises and His character, the more staunch our heart becomes. God’s Word and faith in it is our first and most powerful line of defense against negative situations and thoughts. God’s Word shows our heart how to respond with force and authority against works the evil one attempts to bring into our lives. . .
God’s plan for our lives is all inclusive~ His love for us has put in solutions for every contingency. If we make a mistake, we can learn and grow from it. When we trust in Him and His guidance, our highway of life will smooth out. His love is so powerful we can put full trust in it.
Do you trust Him? How are you building trust, my friend? It's rewards are deep and true!

Hello my friends! I've had technical problems with my blog, but hopefully they are now cleared up and we can get back on our track of 2/week.
During this time I have also had hip surgery, so my life has been in the healing mode~ hopefully my body and program are recovering quickly!
One of the lessons that opened my eyes during this season of frustration~ don't allow multiple attacks of the enemy to weaken my will or to put blockages in the way of progress. My solution has been to find encouragement in His Word and turn the whole situation over to God and trust Him to create the best outcome.
Isaiah 41:10 (NIV)
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Guess what? It works. Frustration seeped away. My focus stayed on track. Cast Up A Highway continues to build faith and joy. Healing progresses.
Hope the God's Words of hope and love will help bring a soothing balm of warmth and restoration to your souls too.

Tears flowed down her face. Despite her prayers, the infant has died. Did her prayers mean nothing? "God, don’t You hear me? Are Your promises true or not?"
Pain has a way of chaining our heart to doubt. How do I come out of that? How do I become strong enough to defeat the enemy’s deceitful ways of chaining me down to hurt? In the book Cast Up A Highway it says, “Because of the desperate need for consolation, the enemy is right there trying to spill gasoline on the fire of our pain to keep our focus there.” Where our focus is~there our mind will be.
How do I break the enemy chains and escape the pain? There is no escape; there is only walk through. One power tool that's a potent support is our faith, and it must be strong like any good tool; as pilings must be established on a staunch foundation, so must be our faith. Our foundation is a mighty God powerful and magnificent.
Ah, but does He care? Sometimes it does not feel like it. So where does that leave us? The Word says we cannot live by our feelings, but by the Word of God; therefore, it is critical to speak out the Word against the enemy who uses our feeling to cast doubt and magnify the pain:
Psalm 91:1-3 (AMP)
HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. I will say of the Lord, He is my Refuge and my Fortress, my God; on Him I lean and rely, and in Him I [confidently] trust! For [then] He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler and from the deadly pestilence. You, Lord, are my deliverer.
Isaiah 41:10 (AMP)
Fear not [there is nothing to fear], for I am with you; do not look around you in terror and be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen and harden you to difficulties, yes, I will help you; yes, I will hold you up and retain you with My [victorious] right hand of rightness and justice. You Lord are my sturdy support through all my trials!
God’s Word builds an inner sturdiness in our faith that will support us through pain and every storm. Our God loves us as His precious children and always desires to help us. Yet every parent knows you cannot give children everything they want. You cannot remove all pain from their lives. So, too, our Almighty God is aware of everything past, present, and future. He knows better than we do, what will bring goodness into our lives and what will not. Thus, in His love He sometimes says “No” or “Not yet”.
Our part in growing our faith is to grow our trust~ trust God’s love for us and stand on the Word. If we are going through the desperate pain of the loss of a loved one, choose to receive God’s consolation, for He will bring a healing balm to hearts. We must trust Him even when we do not understand. Cry on His shoulder and allow Him to hold and comfort us. He will do it; trust Him in that. He always does the best for us, even when we might not agree with Him.
God is faithful and as we build intimacy with Him, our faith will strengthen. We will still suffer pain, but God will lead us gently up out of it. He loves us dearly! His plans for us are good.
and then I heard a loud voice from the throne, saying, “See! The tabernacle of God is among men, and He will live among them, and they will be His people, and God Himself will be with them [as their God,] 4 and He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be death; there will no longer be sorrow and anguish, or crying, or pain; for the former order of things has passed away.”
This is our promise of His love and our marvelous future.

In this day many are struggling. Times are getting better, but it won't happen over night. And so we do have these feelings~
Overwhelmed. Depressed. Dread. Fear. Sometimes we experience difficult situations like job loss, financial distress, sickness, or a sick child, which can lead to relationship difficulties in marriages. So how do we avoid the negative feelings when faced with difficult situations?
During these times, our faith needs to be strong. How do we put muscle in our faith? It’s not easy. You’ve heard: no pain, no gain? It applies to our faith too. The book Cast Up A Highway references Paul’s handicap and what it teaches us:
2 Corinthians 12:7-10
Because of the extravagance of those revelations, and so I wouldn't get a big head, I was given the gift of a handicap to keep me in constant touch with my limitations. Satan's angel did his best to get me down; what he in fact did was push me to my knees. No danger then of walking around high and mighty!
At first I didn't think of it as a gift, and begged God to remove it. Three times I did that, and then He told me, “My grace is enough; it's all you need. My strength comes into its own in your weakness.” Once I heard that, I was glad to let it happen. I quit focusing on the handicap and began appreciating the gift. It was a case of Christ's strength moving in on my weakness. Now I take limitations in stride, and with good cheer, these limitations that cut me down to size—abuse, accidents, opposition, bad breaks. I just let Christ take over! And so the weaker I get, the stronger I become.
In this verse, Paul is speaking to the church at Corinth. . . . he is sharing with the people his revelation about how suffering and testings can be a gift.
You are amazing Lord! You love us enough to give us the opportunity to get stronger by trials and sufferings, and you explain what You are doing and why. Christ’s strength moves in to fill the void left by my weakness. Thus, coupled with Christ’s strength I become supernaturally strong.
This verse blesses us with answers to two of our “Why” questions:
1. Why do I have to suffer pain, heartache, and grief? You can see in this verse Paul shares that these trials can bring us closer to God. God does not create the cause of the pain and suffering, but when we allow, He will use them to increase our inner bonding with Him. Any price is well spent if we draw closer to our Savior. Pain and heartache all can have good purpose and rewards, if we seek God as we go through them. He will open a way for a deeper, closer, and more profound experience in our relationship with Him and in our situation. It will install a sturdy core of deep strength in our spirit and soul. And in the end will be joy.
2.Why doesn’t God always answer my prayers? He does, but we do not always want to accept the answer He provides, even though it is the best answer for us in the long run. If we trust in God for His answers, good will come to us, All things happen for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose. (from Romans 8:288)
As a teen our daughter was complaining about how hard something was; her Daddy said, “no one said it was gonna be easy”. She responded with feeling, “Well no one said it was gonna be this hard either!” Our spiritual life can draw those comments too. Some believe that once I become a Christian, life will be floating on a cloud. Sorry friend, it just ain’t so.
We are designed to go from strength to strength. How could we get stronger without challenges? How could our relationship with our God become deeper in intimacy, if we never had to rely on Him for anything? or never had to question “why?”. Yes, we all go through opposition, and though God is not the originator of it, He will use it for our benefit if we allow.
Is the reward worth the struggle? Oh yeah!!

Last night: Toss and turn. Scratch the itch. Bend the knees. Turn over. That was the physical body. But the mind was the biggest deterrent to sleep; felt like a game of “keep away” with the ball being tossed here and then there, and soon as I thought I caught it, away the thought would fly. You know too, the night is when the devil loves to bring negative thoughts to mind. Last night he was true to form. It got to the point where I threw myself down weeping before God’s throne, feeling beaten, alone and helpless.
For we are not wrestling with flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the despotisms, against the powers, against [the master spirits who are] the world rulers of this present darkness, against the spirit forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) sphere.
Then I asked my Holy Spirit for help. He is so faithful. He brought me one thought, a Scripture verse: “Why so downcast, O my soul?” So I looked it up this morning:
Psalm 42:5-8 (NIV)
Why, my soul, are you downcast?
Why so disturbed within me?
Put your hope in God,
for I will yet praise him,
my Savior and my God.
6 My soul is downcast within me;
therefore I will remember you
from the land of the Jordan,
the heights of Hermon—from Mount Mizar.
7 Deep calls to deep
in the roar of your waterfalls;
all your waves and breakers
have swept over me.
8 By day the Lord directs his love,
at night his song is with me—
a prayer to the God of my life.
That psalm grabbed my mind to truth~ why am I downcast? Holy Spirit showed me that I had put God in 3 little boxes. Ha! Don’t we do that? Don’t we sometimes put God in a little box? Some people think that God should live by their ideas and ideals, and if He doesn’t then 'I won’t believe. . . .'
Well I wasn’t that far out of line, but I had boxed up God as too small to handle my problems. No wonder I felt alone and helpless. If I only depend on me, that’s weak! So I went and opened the 1st box~ Holy Spirit. Soon as it was open, “Whoosh” out flew Holy Spirit filling the room and the earth and the universe, and finally me. Yes I felt His love filling me up settling a little satisfied smile on my face. I was back!
Then I moved over to box #2, and as I got the top barely beginning to open, up sprang King Jesus, standing tall as a mountain. He began bending over and picking up little somethings and tossing them to His angels. Then I saw they were small demons, Jesus would pick them up and the angels would cart them away. This was over individuals, families, churches, other groups, and finally over governments. (These government demons were bigger and darker.) What I noticed was that when the little devils were cleared out, Jesus light filled the spaces. One of my “toss and turn thoughts” was there and as Jesus emptied the demons, His light filled that home. Peace.
The third box just disappeared; it was simply no longer there; but Father God was everywhere working all over the world. He was activating His plan in each individual and each country. My God is so huge, so mighty, and I have Him indwelling me. I am not small and alone! I have Him with me all the time! His indwelling Presence, power and protection is always with me. Nothing is impossible for God, and that is true with me too, for my God lives in me.
May He grant you out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the [Holy] Spirit [Himself indwelling your innermost being and personality].
Friends, if you have put God in a little box, ask Holy Spirit to help you open it up and release the mighty power that is yours, because God is for you, not against you. His love is a strength that stands with and empowers you always. Do not fear, He has given you a spirit of power, might and love. Feel His love for you, and thank Him for His awesome blessings! And get Him out of that box!!
