This is a confusing time for most of us; however, when we know and trust our God, He has given us some clues to our existence at this section of history. And most importantly He is with us. Let us look at what God says to us~

Romans 8:26-28 (The Message) Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God's Spirit is right alongside helping us along.

The moment we get tired in waiting, and not just tired but perhaps even fearful and maybe doubtful, Holy Spirit, You are right there helping us to stay strong.

If we don't know how or what to pray, it doesn't matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans.

Holy Spirit, You see our inadequacies, and You do the praying to the Father for us.

He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God.

You Holy Spirit, You know us and that which is waiting to be born inside us. You are aware of the future before us, and so You are the One who keeps us standing strong and ready before our Father. Our future is in Your hands That's why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. It boils down to trusting our heavenly Father like a small child has the sureness when they are with their loving father.

                                   .

I have a question about believing: Does it cause something to happen. . .  or is it that believing God’s will for/in our lives, causes His will to be fulfilled? Faith / believing can be deceiving, because if we want something badly and believe for it, but it is not God’s will for our lives, it may not happen, and we get discouraged. Remember Gideon’s fleece? He needed confirmation twice and God gave it to him. Then he trusted God and God performed His will through Gideon. If our will is not fulfilled I know from experience, it's not that God does'nt care, it is that He loves us so much, He wants the best for our lives, AND HE KNOWS WHAT THAT IS. So we can be confident when we depend on God for answers, even if our 'wish' does not happen.

Guys, I feel this so strongly that the current strangeness is a true testing time for us! One cannot move in fear and move forward; if we choose to doubt God’s love for us, God’s plan for our lives, victory cannot come. Stand strong in assurance that what He has for us will be fulfilled, and HE will bring us through it. Believe in that! Be confident in Him and His powerful love for us! And remember commit to believe and Holy Spirit will help us to stand strong in our belief.

Lord, You are wonderful! You designed me for this time in history, and You prepared me for it, then You inspired me for it, now you enable me to go and use all the above to complete the work You created me to accomplish. I trust You, Holy Spirit, to be leading and guiding me. You will open the doors that need opening; You will close the doors that I should not enter; You provide for every need to do the work! Your provision in finances, in health, in energy will all work together to do what You call me to do. I trust You!

Romans 13:12-14 AMP

The night is far gone and the day is almost here. Let us then drop (fling away) the works and deeds of darkness and put on the [full] armor of light. (13) Let us live and conduct ourselves honorably and becomingly as in the [open light of] day, not in reveling in the world's ways not in quarreling and jealousy.

(14) But clothe yourself with the Lord Jesus Christ (the Messiah), and make no provision for [indulging] the flesh [put a stop to thinking about the evil cravings of your physical nature] to [gratify its] desires (lusts).

I like how the Message Bible puts it: Get out of bed and get dressed! Don't loiter and linger, waiting until the very last minute. Dress yourselves in Christ, and be up and about!

We are told in this passage in Romans exactly the time in which we are living:' "the night is far spent". It has run its course to the extreme end. It may seem darker than it ever has been, but that need not disturb us. Perhaps that is in itself convincing evidence that it has about run its course. It is always darkest before the dawn.

Yes, our nation and the world have been running farther away from God. We were warned by 9/11 that we were about to face judgement for our evil ways. God has given us 19 years to return to Him. Alas, we have done the opposite. Judgement is near.

But we serve a merciful God, and He has promised in Chronicles~

2 Chronicles 7:13-14  (AMPC)

13 If I shut up heaven so no rain falls, or if I command locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people. . . (Like coronavirus?)

14 If My people, who are called by My name, shall humble themselves, pray, seek, crave, and require of necessity My face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.

We have the opportunity now on September 26, 2020 to Return to God. We are being called to Washington DC to obey God. It will be a time of prayer and repentance for our nation. All over the world those who are called by His name will be gathering to repent and pray for His mercy. From our churches and live streaming  gatherings, homes, we can join together, repent,  and ask God for revival to break out in our world! God is faithful, and if we do our part, He will do His. If we refuse, judgement will fall on us. My friends, please do not ignore this opportunity to redeem our nation, rather let us bow our heads in humility and seek our Lord God. He loves us so much, but as a parent will discipline a beloved child in rebellion, so we will be found wanting if we refuse to seek our Lord, responding with our full heart of love.

My friends, let us spread the word.

[A good book to read more deeply about

this time is called The Harbingr by J.Cahn]

Be blessed my friends!!

I love you.

ACTS 2 CHURCH

                                             >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Frances Chan>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I heard a powerful message from a minister, and I’d like to share the gist of it with you:

Jeremiah 1:4-5

4 Now the word of the Lord came to me, saying,

5 “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you [and approved of you as My chosen instrument],
And before you were born I consecrated you [to Myself as My own];
I have appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Have you thought ~ ‘Before I came out of my mothers womb, God had a design for my life right now. God made me for this time and this place. He created me, because there is a job He needs me to do now at this time. Jesus did not die that we should live ordinary lives. He died to cleanse my soul, so Holy Spirit could enter into me enabling me to do what He designed me to produce.

God is in me; His Spirit indwells me. My life must show I am extraordinary, and I must not resemble an ordinary man without God in him. I am not destined for ordinary! I am special with God in me, and God put me here for this time (like Esther) Remember she was told:

Esther 4:14  Who knows? Maybe you were made queen for just such a time as this.”

We cannot allow fear to hold us back from obeying God's Words. We must trust in Him!

Hebrews 10:38 (NIV)     “But my righteous[a] one will live by faith.
    And I take no pleasure
in the one who shrinks back.”[b]

Heb 10:38 if he shrinks back "my soul has no pleasure in him". I would hate to have God say ‘He had no pleasure in me!’ What about you?

Jesus, You said You’d build a church united…  it was true in Acts chapter 2, there was no needy person among them. The new church people were fearless. Miracles happened. It was Jesus’ beautiful concept.

Acts 2:42-47  (TPT)

The Community of Believers

42 Every believer was faithfully devoted to following the teachings of the apostles. Their hearts were mutually linked to one another, sharing communion and coming together regularly for prayer.

43 A deep sense of holy awe swept over everyone, and the apostles performed many miraculous signs and wonders.

44 All the believers were in fellowship as one body, and they shared with one another whatever they had. 45 Out of generosity they even sold their assets to distribute the proceeds to those who were in need among them. 46 Daily they met together in the temple courts and in one another’s homes to celebrate communion.

They shared meals together with joyful hearts and tender humility. 47 They were continually filled with praises to God, enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were coming to life.

Would you want to be a member of that church? I wonder if we have become a selfish culture? Could we truly be the church Jesus envisioned? I know some today don’t want to be that kind where they cared not for possessions; just cared about the mission; now we don’t want to suffer. Maybe life has become too good, too easy for us? Modern church became: go to a building for an hour a week, sing some songs, listen to a message, go home, and come back next week. Then along comes pandemic and isolation. Now church became watching Sunday sevice on the computer or TV with a cup of coffee in hand maybe still in pjs. Jesus' vision of His united in love and togetherness church has dispersed into one of ease and conveience in isolation.

Jesus said He would build His church so inundated with one heart one spirit all woven together, and that just does not compute with what we have today.

But others look at the isolation differently. . . as God’s leading us on a new journey. God says come with Me to construct a more resilient church; leaders are to equip people to be one with God and united with others. After isolation we can’t just go back to Egypt. This is the window of opportunity now. This isolation shows how unprepared we were. Now is when we need to be getting equipped; really get into GOD'S presence.

My life has looked way too ordinary, God! Your church is so much greater! I believe you made me for this time. I have HOLY SPRIT in me; please speak to me. Show me; I was made for this time!  I was made for this!

Jesus said in John 15:16   You didn’t choose Me, but I’ve chosen and commissioned you to go into the world to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of my Father, for My sake, He will give it to you!

17 So this is my parting command: Love one another deeply!”

Bearing fruit is to love others, to live love, share love, and teach love.

PRAYER:

Just look at what is: Holy Spirit (God) is in me! Does it show? Or has my life looked too normal? I must get into God’s Presence. I believe You made me for this time, God! Holy Spirit is in me and since You created me for this time, I believe You want to use me. So tell me, Lord, what do You want me to do?

I am ready to move forward. I’ve missed interacting with my brothers and sisters! I’ve missed You leading, prompting me to help them, being encouraged by them. Jesus, bring us Your vision for our time!

THREE BAPTISMS?

Posted on September 4, 2020 at 5:50 AM Comments comments (35)

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker; for He is our God and we are the people of his pasture, the flock under his care. Today, if only you would hear his voice,                   Psalm 95:6-7 NIV

Oh my friends, I have learned a new lesson even at my great age!! (LOL) Have you been baptized? Did you know there are three important baptisms for us? This is the info that wowed me, and is encouraging me to decide to partake of this great new personal revelation:

Rick Renner has an excellent teaching that brought this Word to me.

(https/www.youtube.com/watch?RKM_a1KZMk)

Let's begin with Hebrews~

Hebrews 6:1-2  (NKJV)

The Peril of Not Progressing

6 Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ,( We must have the foundation of basic  Biblical Truths soundly within us, then we can)~ let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of BAPTISMS (plural) yet Eph 4:5 talks of one~

Ephesians 4:5 (NKJV)     "one Lord, one faith, one baptism;

This is not a conflict; as Ephesions is talking about the essential baptism for salvation: when one accepts Jesus as Lord and Savior. It is the primary baptism of salvation.

In early times “Baptism" meant:

to wash or to dip; to refashion an item of clothing one would dip it in a caldron of dye letting it soak up the new color, and when they pulled it out, it would be a totally different garment.

In our baptism we are dipped (immersed in, cleansed by) the blood of Jesus, changed and made totally new, as we are placed into Christ

#1 OUR First Baptism is performed by the Holy Spirit ~ at the moment we choose Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit immerses us into the Body of Christ, the person of Christ. This baptism is essential to salvation. We are totally cleansed!

 John 3

. . . Jesus answered him, I assure you, most solemnly I tell you, that unless a person is born again (anew, from above), he cannot ever see (know, be acquainted with, and experience) the kingdom of God.

 John 3:16 (AMPC)

16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

The Word says, (2 Cor. 5:17)    “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new”

 Galatians 3:27 Living Bible (TLB)

27 and we who have been baptized into union with Christ are enveloped by Him.

#2 Our Second Baptism is performed by Jesus. We are baptized by Him into the power of the Holy Spirit. This one is not required for salvation, but it does give us spiritual power, which God wants us to have in order to keep moving forward in our spiritual walk.

Acts 1:5  (TLB)

5 “John baptized you with water,”[a] He reminded them, “but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit* in just a few days.”

Acts 2:4 (TLB)   4 And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in languages they didn’t know,[a] for the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.

Acts 8:15-17 As soon as they arrived, they began praying for these new Christians to receive the Holy Spirit, 16 for as yet He had not come upon any of them. For they had only been baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 17 Then Peter and John laid their hands upon these believers, and they received the Holy Spirit.

Acts 10:44-45(TLB)         44 Even as Peter was saying these things, the Holy Spirit fell upon all those listening! 45 The Jews who came with Peter were amazed that the gift of the Holy Spirit would be given to Gentiles too!

Acts 19:5-6  (TLB)       5 As soon as they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 Then, when Paul laid his hands upon their heads, the Holy Spirit came on them, and they spoke in other languages and prophesied.

Ephesians 6:10 Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last:   Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.

 This baptism gives spiritual power.

#3 Third Baptism is performed by believers and water is the medium.

Here we bury the old man!

The Word says, “If any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things have become new (2 Cor. 5:17)!”

Romans 6:3-4      For sin’s power over us was broken when we became Christians and were baptized to become a part of Jesus Christ;   through his death the power of your sinful nature was shattered. Do you see? Whatever has plagued you as a sin in your life can be shattered!! Allow Jesus to shatter that scourge!!

4 Your old sin-loving nature was buried with Him by baptism when He died; and when God the Father, with glorious power, brought Him back to life again, you were given his wonderful new life to enjoy. Our old evil nature is gone, and we are reborn with God's nature.

 5 For you have become a part of Him, and so you died with Him, so to speak, when He died;[a] and now you share His new life and shall rise as He did. 6 Your old evil desires were nailed to the cross with Him; that part of you that loves to sin was crushed and fatally wounded, so that your sin-loving body is no longer under sin’s control, no longer needs to be a slave to sin;

9 Christ rose from the dead and will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. 10 He died once for all to end sin’s power, but now he lives forever in unbroken fellowship with God. 11 So look upon your old sin nature as dead and unresponsive to sin, and instead be alive to God, alert to Him, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Our new God-nature is drawn to Him!

 John 3:5 (NIV)

5 Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit.  This third baptism  obeys Christ command. Obedience is necessary to grow.

Yes, I was totally thrilled by this new knowledge. I mean don't you get excited when your eyes are opened to a powerful revelation? It is so logical!   Look:

#1 First Baptism  we choose to invite Jesus to be Lord of our life, our Savior. Immediately our sins are cleansed, and sin nature deleted. We are joined with Christ and His nature.

#2 Second Baptism ~ of the Holy Spirit Who comes to indwell us as our mentor, teacher, comforter, advisor and more to tenderly  guide us in our growth path making supernatural power available to us.

#3 Third Baptism is water baptism where the old man, (sin nature is buried forever) and we are raised up into our new nature, our new life. It is symbolic, but also a command of Jesus, so we are obeying Jesus when we choose to be water baptised.

Our new life is born! I am so exhilerated! Can you see that? LOL!

FAMILY BLESSINGS

Thank You for our grandson who was born 17 years ago today. How time has raced! Wow, that seems like a long time ago, yet also feels to have gone by at light speed. Then again, YOU have no time constraints; it’s like yesterday to You, or even tomorrow. Time is a funny manmade concept. It bears no influence on You, but You use it to have us relate to You. I love being in Your presence and talking with You anytime!! It is so satisfying!

You have blessed us with a wonderful family. Thank You Lord. You are so magnificent, glorious and loving!

A picture from the Hubble Telescope

How does He guide us? Many ways, and some are not easy.  One of my constant battles is pride. It reared its nasty head again the other night. Beginning of a new prayer group. I am not the leader, but I was acting like it. I stepped out in prayer thinking it was an inspiration, but later proved not to be. 'My prideful thought, 'I'm doing good' shamefully scooted through my thoughts.  I'd asked God to humble me, and well, He came through. I've learned to wait and be sure the Holy Spirit is speaking before opening my mouth.

I pray for Your power, Lord,  to support me through every day,  whether it is facing  joy filling green valleys or difficult mountains to climb. May my arms and legs be staunch and sturdy to go wherever You lead; and may my heart always discard fear and pride; You keep my body protected free from any attack of the enemy. You are my God ever faithful and always loving me (and even when it is a hard lesson to learn)

Proverbs 4:12-13 (Amp) When you walk, your steps shall not be hampered [your path will be clear and open]; and when you run, you shall not stumble. Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; guard her, for she is your life.

Holy Spirit I humbly ask You to take me where You will. Be the words that come from my mouth, the actions my body performs. I am Yours. In these days of masked confusion and distrust, I respectfully ask for wisdom to lead and Your love to be my guiding light. I command the spirit of pride to cease and desist its assiggnment over me! AMEN.

GRACE TO VICTORY

Posted on August 18, 2020 at 5:35 AM Comments comments (9)

My Lord, YOU are my Lord! You are the Almighty One!. I bow before YOU; Your Word says, All things turn out for good [Romans 8:28] for those who love the Lord and are called according to His purpose.

Right now I am ‘feeling’ glum, however I choose not to stay here. You are wonderful, Friend, Counselor, and You teach me that never am I to remain in this state. You provide the way out!!

Ephesians 6 gives me greater understanding and weapons to fight with:

Ephesians 6:10-20 The Passion Translation (TPT)

Spiritual Warfare

10 Now my beloved ones, I have saved these most important truths for last:

Be supernaturally infused with strength through your life-union with the Lord Jesus. Stand victorious with the force of his explosive power flowing in and through you.

Remember, in John 15, Jesus says:

15 “I am a true sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is my Father. 2 He cares for the branches connected to Me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches[a] and pruning[b] every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest. 3 The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed[c] you. 4 So you must remain in life-union with Me,[d] for I remain in life-union with you.

Our spiritual armor covers the front of a person, not the back. We face our enemy with Jesus’ power and strength:

11 Put on God’s complete set of armor[b] provided for us, so that you will be protected as you fight against the evil strategies of the accuser![c] 12 Your hand-to-hand combat is not with human beings, but with the highest principalities and authorities operating in rebellion under the heavenly realms.[d]

For they are a powerful class of demon-gods[e] and evil spirits that hold[f] this dark world in bondage. 13 Because of this, you must wear all the armor that God provides so you’re protected as you confront the slanderer,[g]

for you are destined for all things and will rise victorious.

We will rise victorious from these battles, because we are remaining intimately attached to Jesus, the Christ, and His strength and power is thus flowing through us!

14 Put on truth as a belt to strengthen you to stand in triumph. Put on holiness as the protective armor that covers your heart.

15 Stand on your feet alert, then you’ll always be ready to share the blessings of peace.

16 In every battle, take faith as your wrap-around shield, for it is able to extinguish the blazing arrows coming at you from the Evil One!

17–18 Embrace the power of salvation’s full deliverance, like a helmet to protect your thoughts from lies. And take the mighty razor-sharp Spirit-sword of the spoken Word of God.

Pray passionately[k] in the Spirit, as you constantly intercede with every form of prayer at all times. Pray the blessings of God upon all His believers. 19 And pray also that God’s revelation would be released through me every time I preach the wonderful mystery of the hope-filled gospel.

20 Yes, pray that I may preach the wonderful news of God’s kingdom with bold freedom at every opportunity. Even though I am chained as a prisoner, I am his ambassador. We are His ambassadors to preach the Gospel; so let us pray for each other in the same way!

We are indeed His Ambassadors and so have the legal right to employ His weapons, His Word, His powerful Name, against the enemy.

So if you find yourself “feeling” (puts one under the satanic realm) powerless, depressed, glum, defeated, fearful, etc, return to the source: His Word to rebuild your strength and overcome the spiritual attack! God has provided us with His promises and His wisdom. We must seize them and allow Him to flow His authority through us as shown above.

My dear friends, never allow the enemy’s manipulation of emotions (feelings) to defeat you; rather recognize them as an enemy attack and begin to combat them, and you shall have victory! We have been put here for a purpose, and in using Ephesians 6 wisdom and tools of battle, we shall indeed win the war on evil!

WHAT IS THE ANSWER?

Posted on August 13, 2020 at 5:35 AM Comments comments (29)

My friends, sadly our enemy has been hard at work to bring hatred into our culture, and it is a strong weapon. However, Jesus has provided us with the alternative. If we choose Him, we can see peace reign again.

Picture one person sitting on one side of a table, and another sitting on the opposite side. Between them hangs a ball that is half painted green and other side is blue. The two people will argue all day about what color the ball is, and swear they are right.

That is what is occurring today, and building a huge darkness in our culture. One side listens to liberal ideas; other side listens to the conservative, and each forms their ideas thusly. They are opposite in many ways. Now our country has always accepted that we don’t all think alike, and we don’t have to be enemies.

However, the evil  enemy has entered into our culture manipulating truths and emotions and causing hate to build between the two sides. Those who are old enough remember when voting for a president was a debate between friends and family. But no one hated the other. They remained friends. This is how our country was formed, and that is the destiny  purposed for us. Anger was not part of it; rather the opposite is true, and Jesus taught us about it. Look at John 15 in the Bible:

Jesus the Living Vine

John 15:1-17 “I am a true sprouting vine, and the farmer who tends the vine is my Father. 2 He cares for the branches connected to me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches[a] and pruning[b] every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest. 3 The words I have spoken over you have already cleansed you. 4 So you must remain in life-union with Me, for I remain in life-union with you.

For as a branch severed from the vine will not bear fruit, so your life will be fruitless unless you live your life intimately joined to Mine.

This is a clear message from Jesus to us. We must have a true heart connection to Jesus, so His life can flow into us; so our spirit can connect with His Holy Spirit, then we can hear and live by His thoughts~

“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches.[e] Recall that a branch attached to the vine receives life giving sap.

As you live in union with Me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from Me you are powerless. 6 If a person is separated from Me, he is discarded; such branches are gathered up and thrown into the fire to be burned.

7 But if you live in life-union with Me and if My words live powerfully  within you—then you can ask whatever you desire and it will be done. 8 When your lives bear abundant fruit, you demonstrate that you are My mature disciples who glorify My Father!

9 “I love each of you with the same love that the Father loves Me. You must continually let My love nourish your hearts.

10 If you keep My commands, you will live in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commands, for I continually live nourished and empowered by His love.

Jesus does not say love the ones who agree with you. He goes so far as to tell us to love our enemies, the ones who hurt us and mistreat us, and maybe even abuse us.

11 My purpose for telling you these things is so that the joy that I experience will fill your hearts with overflowing gladness!

Our obedience to His commands will result in joy filling our life.

12 “So this is my command:

Love each other deeply, as much as I have loved you.[h] 13 For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life[i] for his friends.

14 “You show that you are My intimate friends when you obey all that I command you. 15 I have never called you ‘servants,’[l] because a master doesn’t confide in his servants, and servants don’t always understand what the master is doing. But I call you My most intimate friends, for I reveal to you everything that I’ve heard from My Father.

Have you ever pondered the thought that Jesus considered you an “intimate friend”? Do you see Him as your intimate friend? He can be you know; how does an intimate friendship develop? Time. Spending time together. Make time each day to spend in prayer, meditation on His Word and in His presence; then intimacy can grow.

16 You didn’t choose Me, but I’ve chosen[n] and commissioned you to go into the world[o] to bear fruit. And your fruit will last, because whatever you ask of my Father, for My sake,[p] He will give it to you!  Bearing fruit is to love others, to live love and share love, and teach love. That means do not allow the enemy to poison your thoughts and emotions with hatred. He is successfully accomplishing this in our culture today. Resist him! Allow love to flow through you!

17 So this is my parting command: Love one another deeply!”

Love its the key to removing the enemy weapon of hatred from our culture. It all begins with us. Spread the word. Love people even those who think differently than you. Open up your heart to overflow with “love”.

CONVERSATION WITH GOD

You are so good Lord! I love it when You surround me with Your Presence!!

2 Samuel 22:2-4 MSG            God is bedrock under my feet, the castle in which I live, my rescuing knight. My God—the high crag where I run for dear life, hiding behind the boulders, safe in the granite hideout; My mountaintop refuge, He saves me from ruthless men. I sing to God the Praise-Lofty, and find myself safe and saved.

Words to God:

You, God, are the bedrock support under me and within me; thus I can stand in strength and fierceness against the enemy. You have awakened me to Your mighty presence this morning. You lead me and guide me in all I do; You protect me; You empower me. I shall obey You and be dauntless for Your will. I come against any mindset of fear or excuses; I choose to abolish procrastination from my life, and I shall complete even the difficult tasks today! You are here to help me. Help me be responsible; give me an awareness of every situation I face and the power of prayer to bring God-answers into it. I claim Your protection upon myself, my family, my belongings, and my finances. You are my Father, and I am under Your powerful protection! Let Your peace reign!

God’s response:

Know that I treasure you as my precious child, and My eye is always upon you. I watch over you with care and concern, as a loving father watches over his child. You are safe with Me. Come, walk and talk with Me in the high place of My presence, and your journey will surely end in victory.

Prayer:

Thank You, my resplendent and magnificent God! I have a sturdy determination to be the person You created me to be. You are my bedrock support reinforcing me and enabling me to do Your will. I am determined to fearlessly follow You; for I am assured that with You, my life shall fulfill its purpose. I am constantly guarded against evil, and I can always run to You for help, because You are my mountain refuge, my castle of protection, my ever-faithful God.

The Lord your God is in the midst of you, a Mighty One, a Savior [Who saves]! He will rejoice over you with joy; He will rest [in silent satisfaction] and in His love He will be silent and make no mention [of past sins, or even recall them]; He will exult over you with singing.

—Zeph. 3:17

Thank You Lord for Your expressive, intense and passionate love for me! The power in this love is fierce. Endow me with this same fierce love for your people. Jesus, it is the love that caused you to leave your divinity behind and come to earth as a man. It was necessary for us to live lives knowing and dwelling in the Father’s presence. It was necessaryto open the doors to heaven for us. Sin could never enter; so you had to make a way to cleanse sin from us. So as a man you took on the sin of mankind and suffered the extreme torment in your body and in your soul that sin’s ugliness spewed out. You suffered that we might live lives of victory on earth and spend eternity in victorious resurrection joy.

Thank You JESUS!

                                                                                       A Hubble Telescope Picture

Lord. You are Lord! I bow down before You in holy worship.

You are so vast, so colossal, so immense

Your fullness is incomprehensible!

Your power is magnificent and daunting!

Before You I am totally insignificant.

Except. . . You have called me daughter.

You have called me by my name.

You desire to have a relationship with me.

Why?

Because You can and You actually created me

to have relationship with You.

A go back and forth relationship.

A loving and caring relationship between us.

You desire my love freely given.

Father, I give you my heart, my love. I do love You!

And You love me so much that You work in me to raise

me up to be the best I can be to please You. What I

cannot do on my own, You do in me. Thank You!

You deserve the best I can be, the best I can give to You. That is what I desire, the best. So here I am in my very imperfect state of being. I am the clay and You are the Potter; make of me the vessel that can serve You in the manner You want. Only You can do this. You are the Creator!

You are forming me and have been all my life, teaching me.

1 Corinthians 2:16 (Amplified Bible)

For who has known or understood the mind (the counsels and purposes) of the Lord so as to guide and instruct Him and give Him knowledge? But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart.

Now at this time in my life, it is all in Your hands. You have given me the mind of Christ. Your word says so. The thoughts, feelings, and purposes of His heart are mine. The memory, recall and workings of the mind are His in me and I can do all things thru Him. You have called me to write and to teach. It is only through You that it will be accomplished! This whole purpose and project is completely in Your hands. Holy Spirit, I bow to You as my leader, my mentor, my word supplier, my all-in-all!

"Why had He manifested Himself to us in this way? He made that quite clear. It was because there was a work to be done in the world today that only He could do (John 16)

John 16:6-10 (Amplified Bible)
But because I have said these things to you, sorrow has filled your hearts [taken complete possession of them]. However, I am telling you nothing but the truth when I say it is profitable (good, expedient, advantageous) for you that I go away. Because if I do not go away, the Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, Standby) will not come to you [into close fellowship with you]; but if I go away, I will send Him to you [to be in close fellowship with you].

John 16:8-11 (The Message)   “When He comes, He’ll expose the error of the godless world’s view of sin, righteousness, and judgment: He’ll show them that their refusal to believe in Me is their basic sin; that righteousness comes from above, where I am with the Father, out of their sight and control; that judgment takes place as the ruler of this godless world is brought to trial and convicted.

When Holy Spirit comes He will expose the error of the godless world view of sin, righteousness and judgement. He will show them the consequences of their refusal to believe in Me, Jesus. For righteousness comes from the Father and He is not in their sight and control.

When You live Your life in me Holy Spirit, You will use my mouth to do these things. Your power will be at work, not anything of me except the use of my mouth. This work that needs to be done can only be done by You. I bow to You. Help me give up my self to You, so as You indwell me YOU replace the self in me. Holy Spirit guide me.

There is much work to be done in these confusing time. Those who are Christ-followers must stand our ground for the truth. We cannot sit silent, for Holy Spirit is in us to give us the words to speak and the time to speak them.

Let us stand tall in praise, worship and obedience!

ALWAYS WAS; ALWAYS WILL BE

Good morning Lord of all!! You are the Alpha and the Omega! The God above it all! Time is a human condition and does not apply to You at all, ever.  Yes, above and seeing it all. You’re overseer of the universe and overseer of me. . . the grandest and the smallest. Your hand touches all. This morning I feel Your hovering Presence. . . reminding me of the beginning of  it all for us, the very creation, the Genesis)

Genesis 1:2

Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters.

You Holy Spirit were there creating as Father’s words rolled forth. You Holy One are with me today creating a new thing. What new thing. . . You will reveal it to me in Your time. I feel Your Spirit ‘hovering’ around me, surrounding me. I bow down to You my God, my Lord and Master, the One who keeps the universe working, Whose will puts the earth in order to bring forth as many of Your children as possible to know You and share a loving relationship. It's what You seek! You are so good!

“Darkness was over the surface of the deep” Sometimes there are situations in life that feel dark; they try to drag us down into the blackness of depression. It feels like swimming in tar ~ fearful, draining, hopeless. But when I recall You, Holy Spirit, and how You hovered over the waters of the deep, what happened next was:

Genesis 1:3

3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness.

God spoke and there was light! And God separated the light from the darkness. In us, God will also separate His light from the evil of the darkness brought about by a hurtful memory, buried deep, for the enemy is expert at manipulating emotions as he brings  a bad memory or sirtuation back to our mind in living color.

BUT GOD~

Our God loves us and His goodness is light and brings with it a new life. We turn our eyes to Him, and know that His love always rescues us, when we depend on Him. God will lift us from the pit of darkness, but we need to trust Him. O my friends, if any of you are in that dark demon dungeon, turn your focus to God’s light. His love is so strong, His grace so plentiful, just reach out to Him! He is eagerly waiting to help you.

It is a battle, a spiritual war raging for your soul!

1 Peter 5:8

Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.

Exodus holds His promises, when you trust in Him~

Exodus 14:14 (NIV)

14 The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.”

Jesus  is speaking a warning about satan, the thief, and a promise:

John 10:10    The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

My dear friends, open your heart and your mind to the truth, that God is not some power sitting up high to judge and punish sinners. Only remember, once you have truly chosen Christ as your Savior, you have been totally transformed into a new person with a god-nature. Yes, we are still human and will make mistakes, but we know it is wrong and repent. With repentance comes forgiveness and cleansing making us pure once more.

So dear ones, choose right. The rewards are greater than you can know at this point! Life is so much sweeter, easier, peaceful, yet still full of excitement!

I love you. See you next time.

ONE PERSPECTIVE

Surprised! I recently spoke to a professional man who voiced his fear of Covid 19. The surprise bloomed, because I wouldn't expect he was believing everything the media is puttong out. Is it a 'new' strain of Coronavirus and mutating rapidly? Yes, but how many are dying from it? Maybe 1% and most of those are susceptible to begin with. Yet chaos, doubt, fear thunder through the atmosphere. The media is to blame for that! They report 'new cases' and 'deaths', but not recoveries, not number who had minor symptons, if any, not cure-solutions doctors have found.

Pandemic? Real? or evil plan of the devil? Lord God, we know that You love us! We need You to lead and guide us through these days of deception. We know there are successful treatments for Coved19, yet the media and the devil’s henchmen are trying to convince the population that it is a dangerous random killer and we must separate ourselves from each other or die. And we must wait for that coveted vaccine? [Vaccines have often done more harm than good. Check into it.] Big pharma is looking for more moneyand this is a landfall for them, a great boon.

If we look at nature behavior, like a herd of gazelles, their enemy, the lion will attack any critter that becomes separated from the herd. They are the vulnerable ones. The devil’s plan is working in a similar way ~ separate us from each other for we then become much easier prey to his lies and machinations. Build up the fear factor; let it seem as tho we are all gonna get the disease and die. In reality many get it and have mild symptoms only, also there are cures and successful treatments for it; but the media emphasizes the fearful negatives; it wants the fear factor to promulgate its half-truths and lies. There are successful treatments for Covid out there now!

This evil time of confusion and fear is not lost on God; He will use it to bring His people back to faith and believing in Him. I am getting more convinced that this is the beginning of the Beginning of the Age when Jesus will return. This tumult and deception will bring forth a great revival and will work for God’s glory! But we must trust in Him!

(Thanks Tallgal for the beautiful picture! One can see how God can manifest His glory in His creation.)

Isaiah 51: 3-5 (TPT), Yahweh will comfort Zion, restore her,
and comfort all her broken places.
He will transform her wilderness into the garden of Bliss,[c]
her desert into the garden of Yahweh.
Joy and laughter will fill the air[d]
  with thanksgiving and joyous melodies.
4 “Listen to Me, my people;
pay attention to Me, my nation.

For I release my teaching to the nations,
and I will cause the light of justice to rest on them.[e]
5 My righteousness is coming closer,  and my salvation has gone out.
My mighty arms will govern the people.
The islands will trust in Me
and put their hope in the unveiling of My might.

Proverbs 15:9 (TPT)  The Lord detests the lifestyle of the wicked,
but he loves those who pursue purity.[a]

Deuteronomy 16:20 (MSG)  The right! The right! Pursue only what’s right! It’s the only way you can really live and possess the land that God, your God, is giving you.

Proverbs 21:21 (TPT)   The lovers of God  who chase after righteousness
will find all their dreams come true: an abundant life drenched with favor
and a fountain that overflows with satisfaction.

Our God is good and loves us dearly! His Word is an instruction manual on how to live a life of love, joy and success. The enemy works daily to discount God’s Word and call it nonsense. But those who live by it know the truth: It is an amazing blessing to us. See Jesus promise in this next verse:

John 8:12 (TPT)   Jesus, the Light of the World:   Then Jesus said, “I am light to the world and those who embrace Me will experience life-giving light, and they will never walk in darkness.”

Footnotes:

John 8:12 Again we see Jesus using the words “I Am,” which is the name of God.

John 8:12 The Greek word is a double negative, emphatically saying, “never, no never!”

John 8:12 The Aramaic is “they will never be driven (pushed) by the darkness.”

 Mark 1:14-15 (TPT)

Jesus Calls Four Fishermen to Follow Him

14 Later on, after John the Baptizer was arrested, Jesus went back into the region of Galilee and preached the wonderful gospel of God’s kingdom realm.[a] 15 His message was this: “At last the fulfillment of the age has come! It is time for the realm of God’s kingdom to be experienced in its fullness! Turn your lives back to God and put your trust in the hope-filled Gospel!”

Yes. it is time. If what I have written is a mystery to you, then I can tell you that the Bible is full of passages relating the goodness of our God! He is indeed the Light in the darkness of the world, and He has a  passionate love for us! Just think, the God who created the universe created you and me to be His children, and to share an intimate relationship together. I would encourage all to develop a hunger to know Him deeply, and you will not be disappointed!

TALKING TO GOD

The Spirit of God entered David like a rush of wind, God vitally empowering him for the rest of his life.

1 Samuel 16:13 MSG

Words to God:

Holy Spirit, you are like the wind; there is nothing of rigidity about You. You glide in and around different parts of my life filling, nudging, inspiring, and calling to me. You put a hunger in me for You; I desire You to fully empower my life, all the time. I ask for You to guide my decisions, thoughts, and actions every day, as I listen for Your direction and encouragement. Vitally empower me, Holy Spirit, for Your work!

God’s response:

Do you know my heart? I am with you now, my beloved child. Open your heart to My indwelling Spirit. Quiet your mind to the distractions of the world, and in the inner silence focus on My Word, as the Holy Spirit leads you. Focus, be still, and hear My words in your spirit. Obey Me, and My Holy Spirit will empower you.

Prayer:

In the quiet of the early morning, I seek Your heart, so I can speak my heart and hear Yours in return. O Holy Spirit, indeed I call for you to truly fill me! Replace today’s anxious thoughts with Your Word’s comfort. Enable me to trust You and feed my mind with Your Word. I need You to help me focus on You, Your Word, and Your love for me. What I truly desire is a more intimate relationship with You, and I need time with You to develop that. Show me where more time is hiding, so that we can arrange frequent appointments together. I need You!

Now may the God of peace [Who is the Author and the Giver of peace], ...strengthens (complete, perfect) and make you what you ought to be and equip you with everything good that you may carry out His will; [while He Himself ] works in you and accomplishes that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 13:20-21

Words to God:

What an awesome God You are! You put a purpose in my life and call me to acts of obedience, then You equip me: (a) You provide me with all the gifts required for the purpose; (b) You prepare me by presenting experiences that bring growth and understanding; (c) and best of all, You indwell me giving me opportunity to call on You anytime as You do Your internal work with my soul. Together these all enable me to discover my purpose, please You, and be fulfilled by accomplishing the purpose You created in me.

God’s response:

My child, remember, I know the end from the beginning. I already have good plans for you; obey Me and fear not. I’ve called you to fulfill a part of My plan for My people. My love flows over you and through you to others! As you are faithful to my call, so shall My will be carried out. Do not fear to go where I direct; I am always with You. Trust Me. Come forward and take that step I am calling you to, even though you cannot see the future result. Fear not. I AM with you. Come!

Prayer:

Lord, I know you are working in me. I bow down to Your will in my life, trusting You. Open the eyes of my understanding to Your call on my life. As I journal, Holy Spirit, lead my thoughts to reflect Your wisdom, Your understanding, and Your will.

Absorb the Word

God’s blessings are so varied and shine in every aspect of our lives. He is our Builder, our Protector, our Guide, and our trustworthy Father, who burns with incredible love for us. As we read and meditate on the verses of the Bible, we acquire deeper, fuller understanding of God. His plan for us is a good one, and it can lead us throughout our lives. He is truly and amazingly personal with His truths and promises!

As you read the Bible, read it knowing it was written for you specifically. Allow the Bible to be a banquet you dine from each day. Consume each verse and digest it; nourish yourself and grow in joy and gladness. Let the power of the living Word emancipate you to live the life God purposed you to have. The Word reveals our blood-bought freedoms and our ability to enjoy the freedoms Jesus purchased.

HIS LOVE CHANGES

Have you stood and watched an eagle soar? Does it lift up your spirit with its beauty and strength? God often uses His creation to teach us, and one of His favorite is the eagle. These two Psalms are some of my favorites. We know the eagle is strong; when storms come it just flies above the clouds. When it hunts, its mighty wings carry it with speed and accuracy. David, the composer, spent much time outside as he tended his father’s sheep. He wrote this song and I’ll quote a few verses:

Psalm 103

Of David.

1 Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise his holy name.
2 Praise the Lord, my soul,
and forget not all His benefits—
3 who forgives all your sins
    and heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit
, and crowns you with love and compassion,
5 who satisfies your desires with good things
,  so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.

Then another one I really like a lot:

Isaiah 40:31

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

My majestic eagle is not afraid of storms; it just flies above them. When its beak gets dull and its feathers make noise as it zooms down after prey, it goes to the mountains, to the high places, plucks out the old feathers and waits for the new, it sharpens its beak on the rocks and is renewed and refreshed. It is made new!

Our loving Father calls us ~ Come up to Me, and I shall renew you. I shall refresh you in the fountain of My Word. Come, spend time with Me to develop a deeper rapport.  Plumb the depths of your soul and bring your hidden thoughts and concerns to Me. I will hear and help you work out in every situation that holds you back from compete freedom in Me.

Isaiah 50:10 (Amplified Bible) Who is among you who [reverently] fears the Lord, who obeys the voice of His Servant, yet who walks in darkness and deep trouble and has no shining splendor [in his heart]? Let him rely on, trust in, and be confident in the name of the Lord, and let him lean upon and be supported by his God.

Ephesians 2:4-6 (TPT) 4 But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. 5 Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, He united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! 6 He raised us up with Christ the exalted One, and we ascended with Him into the glorious perfection and authority of the heavenly realm, for we are now co-seated as one with Christ!

Footnotes:

Ephesians 2:6 To be “placed” or “seated” in heaven means we have been given the perfection and authority to be there.

God lavishes His love upon us! It’s full and complete love without reserve. He so wants everyone to know Him and see the truth, that He sent His Son Jesus to redeem us. We are born as children of Adam, the betrayer. His seed was passed down to all generations; the deceiver, satan, made sure of that.

Jesus in His love chose to pay the great price for our redemption; when we accept His gift and choose to make Him Lord of our life, our sin nature is totally cleansed, deleted, and we become true children of God with His nature. Our relationship with our God can now be deep and intimate! We can know Him and the love flows between us in a real stream of affection and sharing as Father and His beloved child.

Packers' wide receiver describes his faith journey:

ARLINGTON, TX - Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings says he tried to live without God's help, "but it didn't work."

As his team prepared for today's Super Bowl against the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jennings told reporters that his father is a pastor, so he was brought up in the faith, but drifted away. "I had tried to do it on my own and it didn't work, and so I had to try something new," he said. "God is the right way -- that's pretty much what everyone needs to know."

When he finally came "face to face with God," Jennings said he remembered that "to whom much is given much is required."

Jennings said his favorite Bible quote is from 1 Corinthians, where it says "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, neither has it entered into the heart of man what God has for those who love him." He added: "You don't recognize what God has for you until you get into the spiritual realm."

Our response to God's love. . .

Ephesians 4:2-6 The Passion Translation (TPT)

2 With tender humility and quiet patience, always demonstrate gentleness and generous[a] love toward one another, especially toward those who may try your patience. 3 Be faithful to guard the sweet harmony of the Holy Spirit among you in the bonds of peace, 4 being one body and one spirit, as you were all called into the same glorious hope of divine destiny.

5 For the Lord God is one, and so are we, for we share in one faith, one baptism, and one Father. 6 And He is the perfect Father who leads us all, works through us all, and lives in us all!

My friends, in these times of disruption and confusion, remember all these times were no surprise to God, and He still has a plan for you, and that plan has not been disrupted. Renew your relationship with the Lord, or if you do not have one yet, seek Him out. He loves you and will accept you just as you are!   Fear not, His love is far stronger than any human love. He will receive Your heart and connect with you.

AMAZING: WORD IS PERSONAL TO EACH

Posted on July 8, 2020 at 1:05 AM Comments comments (35)

The Living Word. It is amazing how God’s Word, the Bible, transcends time and space. Its truth speaks to every person who chooses to hear it, and all in very personal ways. See everyone is made different, and has different life experiences, so God can speak truth to them for their own life. In this blog I am sharing how a Bible verse became a personal message from God to me. It may well touch a cord n your life as well:

John 9:1-5 (The Message) True Blindness

Walking down the street, Jesus saw a man blind from birth. His disciples asked, "Rabbi, who sinned: this man or his parents, causing him to be born blind?" 3-5 Jesus said, "You're asking the wrong question. You're looking for someone to blame. There is no such cause-effect here. Look instead for what God can do. We need to be energetically at work for the One who sent Me here, working while the sun shines. When night falls, the workday is over. For as long as I am in the world, there is plenty of light. I am the world's Light."

Another version of this Bible verse:

John 9:1-5 (NLT) Jesus Heals a Man Born Blind

As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth. “Rabbi,” his disciples asked him, “why was this man born blind? Was it because of his own sins or his parents’ sins?”

3 “It was not because of his sins or his parents’ sins,” Jesus answered. “This happened so the power of God could be seen in him. 4 We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the One who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. 5 But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.”

Footnotes:

John 9:4 Other manuscripts read I must quickly carry out the tasks assigned Me by the One who sent Me; still others read We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the one who sent Me.

These are the Scriptures You gave me this morning Holy Spirit. John 9:1 says:  As Jesus was walking along, he saw a man who had been blind from birth." You were just walking along, Jesus, and happened to notice a man blind since birth. You did not go looking for him. He was in Your path and You noticed him. Father God opened Your eyes to Him. You always did what the Father told You to do; I ask You to help me notice people in my walk who need help, and who the Father points out to me. Holy Spirit You are so good to be with me and help me to be aware of Your will for me. Thank You!

Then, Jesus, You performed a miracle. OK, Holy Spirit, You want me to share Your promises in the Bible where You did miracles, then I can, if You tell me to,  pray for miracles for those You put along my walk, or answer any need they have as You reveal it to my spirit. Verse 4 says: We must quickly carry out the tasks assigned us by the One who sent us. The night is coming, and then no one can work. or as the Message Bible says: Look instead for what God can do. We need to be energetically at work for the One who sent Me here, working while the sun shines. When night falls, the workday is over. There is an urgency here. I must quickly carry out my assignment before the night comes. Holy Spirit, what night is this? Is it a time in coming history; or is it death? Then Jesus says: 5 But while I am here in the world, I am the light of the world.” or “For as long as I am in the world, there is plenty of light. I am the world's Light." So as long as Jesus was/is in the world, He provided the light. When He is not in the world there is darkness ~

Jesus it is our job to bring You into the people’s world so they have Your light to live by. Point them out as I walk Your assigned path. Put Your love and passion into my words as I speak about You.

Lord, our walk is clear. Our spiritual assignment is to follow Your will. Lord as we grow please help us keep in close touch with Your Spirit. Allow Your light to flow through us. My indwelling Holy Spirit, You are the Light that guides me; You answer my prayers and are such a wonderful help! I love You!

O HOW HE LOVES US!

Good morning Lord! I love You! Thank You for loving me! Guide me throughout this day leading me always in Your will. Thank You!

John 15:1-10 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the Gardener. 2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful. 3 You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. 4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me. You Father are the Gardener. It is for You to prune me to bear much fruit. I trust You to prune me and to keep me protected from all the evil works of the enemy. I am cleansed by the Word. But I need grace to bear the pruning. I know You will never take me past what I can bear.

5 “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in Me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from Me you can do nothing. 6 If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned. 7 If you remain in Me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. My Lord, You indeed are the vine that nourishes, allowing us to grow when we are attached to You. . .  spending time with You, reading and studying Your Word, talking with You daily, being open to Your guidance. In these ways we remain ‘attached’ to You. You feed us and help us to grow in our knowledge and relationship with You.

8 This is to my Father’s glory, that you bear much fruit, showing yourselves to be my disciples. Jesus we choose to be Your disciples and follow You to the best and fullest of our ability.

9 “As the Father has loved Me, so have I loved you. Now remain in my love. If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love, just as I have kept my Father’s commands and remain in His love.” Yes Jesus we will accept and follow Your will and remain in Your love. We love You Jesus!

Jesus, You are the Alpha and Omega and before You, I bow down. You are King of Kings and I love You and serving You. Your will is my will. Holy Spirit guide my thoughts and actions.

Lord this year is totally unique for us, and so figuring out how to proceed in our walk throughout each day is challenging. My perceptions are to trust YOU AND HAVE NO FEAR. I believe Your guidance is instructing me to build on love. Practically speaking that would be to approach all as an instrument of Your love allowing it to flow through me, yes open the ports and let it flow ~ re-establish a caring relationship with those with whom it has been broken. Look for ways of serving others. FIGHT AGAINST TEMPTATIONS TO BE OFFENDED. The enemy has been using ‘offense’ has a way of splitting up people; satan’s program of hate has been very successful.

Lord, Your love is so powerful! There’re ways of defending ourselves and our nation from hate. Show us weapons we can develop to successfully combat it. As one single person there are some things we can do. As Covid 19 has been used to separate us from each other, the gap between us has widened. Love can close that gap by reaching out and speaking with love. Look for ways of helping others; wherever you can speak love, do it especially on social media. Become an agent of caring and affection. Fear nothing, for God has us. We can affect our world for good, but we must DO and not sit passively and complain, or be afraid. Love is the weapon to fight evil and hate. Promote love, stand, and act!  See this verse:

2 Thessalonians 3:3 NIV

But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen you and protect you from the evil one.

YOU CAN PRAY THIS

Posted on June 26, 2020 at 6:50 AM Comments comments (35)

As I sit at my computer this morning and speak to You Holy Spirit, I pray to live in continual awareness of Your Presence in me, of You being the leader and me being the follower. I have given this body over to You to use. As I sat here and prayed, the screen on the computer went dark, as it does to save energy when no activity is happening on it. As we walk through my day, there are times when awareness of You in me ‘goes dark’, that is, I am not consciously aware of Your Presence. So I want more of You... to be more aware of You all the time.

You created us so that our minds are single focus. They cannot think of two different things at the same time. So when I am thinking and performing my job at the hospital, I am not thinking of You. Perhaps it is that You, through me, are doing the job at the hospital. When I give You my self wholly, You can operate in me that way. So it is not me doing it, but You are doing the work. So my awareness of You is there, I just do not need to think with my conscious mind about You. We are not separate, but one as Jesus and the Father were/are One. And You Holy Spirit are of that oneness as well. So when I give myself wholly to You, in a way we also are one.

John 15:7 If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

Jesus prayed for you and me:

John 17:20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as You are in me and I am in You  May they also be in us   (here Jesus prays directly for us)

21 (?) that they may be one as we are one— I in them and You in me

 Message Bible John 17:20-23

I'm praying not only for them
But also for those who will believe in me
Because of them and their witness about me.
The goal is for all of them to become one heart and mind—
Just as you, Father, are in me and I in you,
So they might be one heart and mind with us.
Then the world might believe that you, in fact, sent me.
The same glory you gave me, I gave them,
So they'll be as unified and together as we are—
I in them and you in Me.
Then they'll be mature in this oneness,
And give the godless world evidence
That you've sent Me and loved them
In the same way you've loved me.

Father, create in me correct understanding of Your Word. Reveal to me the message within the message of the Word. Allow truth to inhabit me. Show me how to be the person You purposed me to be.

Feelings are not reliable. I feel unworthy of Your Love my Lord. Yet I am Your son/daughter. So You love me. . .  because I am your child. It is nothing I achieved, nothing I earned, it is what/who I am. Thank You Lord! You Jesus have clothed me with Your righteousness, because I have accepted Your gift; Your death paid the entire price for my sin, changed my sinful nature to Your godly nature. Now I am worthy to come before the Father, to interact in love with Him, to sit on His lap with His arms around me, to be enfolded in His love. Because You changed my nature, I am now able to walk indwelled by You ~ You can indwell me because I have accepted Your gift Jesus and am capable of being holy. . . that is consecrated for Your work to show the world that You loved them enough to die for them. Your indwelling Presence flows through me as I give my life to You for Your use. Now I am rambling. I love You.

Thank You for the sunshine warmth of Your love! In it I feel cuddled in safety and caring, comfort, and contentment. I rest in this warmth of Your  Father ~ love.

FEAR NOTHING!

In these days of chaos and uncertainty, the enemy is throwing around its fear weapon ~ sickness and death, financial stress, stay home-isolate yourself; the enemy is using people especially in media to promote fear and keep it alive. 'Covid 19, the silent enemy that hides waiting for the unsuspecting to strike and kill'. It is a flue bug and will be defeated!! Yet because of it, a weapon was raised up to cripple our country and bring more misery on the world’s most desperate. But listen to Jesus' words:

John 10:10       The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.

The thief Jesus speaks about is  satan, an evil spirit who seeks our destruction. Do not think Covid is just a disease of the flesh; the devil seeks our very souls. But Jesus has/is our  weapon. He defeated satan 2000 years ago. He is our strength today!

We do not need to fear, we have a mighty God who loves us and will protect us. Trusting Him will bring peace overcoming fear. Look at some of His promises in Psalm 91:

Psalm 91:1-13 (The Message)

You who sit down in the High God's presence,
spend the night in Shaddai's shadow,

Say this: "God, you're my refuge.

I trust in you and I'm safe!"

And when we do this, His Words cover us~

That's right—He rescues you from hidden traps,

      shields you from deadly hazards.

His huge outstretched arms protect you—

      under them you're perfectly safe;

his arms fend off all harm.

Fear nothing—not wild wolves in the night,

not flying arrows in the day,

Not disease (like Covig 19) that prowls through the darkness,

not disaster that erupts at high noon.

Even though others succumb all around,

drop like flies right and left,

no harm will even graze you.

You'll stand untouched, watch it all from a distance,

watch the wicked turn into corpses.

Yes, because God's your refuge,

the High God your very own home,

Evil can't get close to you,

harm can't get through the door.

   He ordered his angels

to guard you wherever you go.

   If you stumble, they'll catch you;

their job is to keep you from falling.

You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes,

and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

Speak to God in faith~

My mighty God! You protect me. I come to sit in Your presence, rest in Your shadow. I trust in You, my God, for You are my refuge. With You I am always safe. You protect me with Your huge outstretched arms, for Your arms fend off all who would try to harm me. Trusting in You, I fear nothing~not flying arrows in the daytime, not evil in the night. I do not fear disease for You are my rear guard, the glory over my head, and no harm can reach me. You are my refuge. To You I can always come, be welcomed and refreshed. YOU are my very own home. You indwell me. As Jesus said, me in You and You in me. Jesus prayed for me ~ I look at these next verses:

John 17:15, 20-23(NIV) My prayer is not that You take them out of the world but that You protect them from the evil one.

20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you ~ may they also be in us

so that the world may believe that you have sent Me. I have given them the glory that You gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and You in Me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that You sent Me and have loved them even as You have loved Me.

Do you see it? Jesus is praying for you and me! What does He want? ‘Lord, bring us to complete unity, that we may be one. Unity ~ us with each other, but even more that we may be one in God. I desire to be one in You Lord ~ is that not what the indwelling is? You in me / me in You? This does not mean that "I am God" as some claim; it is me submitting myself to Your will, inviting Holy Spirit to live Your life in me; then I am not alone, only me, rather I am two ~  my spirit being joined with Your Spirit.   Bring my conscious mind to the point of awareness of this Presence every moment. The world needs to know You sent Jesus, Your Son, Father, so that we could be saved for all eternity, because You love us with a completeness unknown by the human heart. In the fullness of Your love Father, our goal is for all to live in Your powerful love!

GOD IS MOVING ON YOUR BEHALF

In looking at email this morning I came across this Global Prayer Alert Network. It was so good that I decided to share it. See what you think:

GPAN 6/12/20

Pastor Tim…

Good morning, everybody. Welcome. . . .  I believe that you’re going to be blessed. I just want to remind you of all the goodness of God. No matter what you’re facing or what you’re dealing with, or what you’re going through, God is good. He loves you. He cares about you. He knows what you’re going through. And He’s got exactly what you need. So just look up, because He is where our help comes from. He never, never fails. He said He would never leave us, never forsake us.

Hebrews 13:5 Amplified Bible

Let your character [your moral essence, your inner nature] be free from the love of money [shun greed—be financially ethical], being content with what you have; for He has said, “I will never [under any circumstances] desert you [nor give you up nor leave you without support, nor will I in any degree leave you helpless], nor will I forsake or let you down or relax My hold on you [assuredly not]!”

He’s always for us, never against us. He’s faithful. And His mercies are new each and every morning. Isn’t that good news? God is so good. Maybe we should start this morning by singing about the goodness of the Lord.

Sing ~  I love You, Lord… Your mercy never fails me… All my days, I’ve been held in Your hands… From the moment that I wake up till I lay my head, I will sing of the goodness of my God… You are good and Your mercy endures forever… ♪

That’s what they sang when King Solomon dedicated the temple. The Bible says when all the choir and the instrumentalists and the priests and the congregation all lifted up their voice together, they sang “For the Lord is good and His mercy endures forever.”

And when they came into one accord and sang that and gave praise out of their hearts to the Lord, it says the glory of the Lord came in such a manner they couldn’t even stand in His presence. So in spite of our circumstances and in spite of how we feel, when we just lift up our hearts and praise and declare the goodness of the Lord,

I’m telling you, He delights in that. He delights in our praise. Because we’re choosing to overcome. To overcome our circumstances… to overcome our feelings. And we’re making up our mind that we’re going to praise God because He’s good and His mercy endures forever.

When we lift up our praise, the enemy has to flee. God moves on our behalf. He comes in like a flood and blesses us. Moves on our behalf. Changes and rearranges things. The enemy has to flee. He cannot stand in His presence. It shuts the devil up. Whoo! I’m telling you, praise changes things. Praise will change your circumstances. God will take what the enemy meant for evil and He’ll turn it around for your good.

If you’ll just release your praise to Him, you just lift up your heart, just praise Him this morning and declare the goodness of the Lord, He’s going to move because He’s always moving even when you can’t see it. He’s moving. Even when you don’t feel it, He’s moving. Because that’s who He is and that’s what He does. He’s moving on your behalf.

What a good word!! Are you in a circumstance that feels hopeless? Is desperation leading you? My friend, turn your eyes upon God; He loves you completely, and He alone can help you. Not only can He, but He will. Trust Him. What have you got to lose? To God, you are His beloved child! He is just waiting for you to come to Him. Even if you've done wrong, He loves you! Talk about it all to your Father Who cares for you.

WORRIED ABOUT OUR KIDS? (1 and 2)

Posted on June 8, 2020 at 5:40 AM Comments comments (28)

ARE YOU TROUBLED FOR OUR CHILDREN?

Have you watched your teens and their friends decide to smoke pot? or cigarettes? Do you like their friends? What are they learning in school? Are you comfortable with your very young ones being taught sex in school; not only regular sex, but LGTB sex and having that philosophy being explained and being labelled a good choice? And how comfortable are you with your kids being told they can choose what sexual orientation they want as though God made a mistake.

If you are not happy about this, you had better be praying... I am really concerned as I watch the enemy trample through the minds of the next generation. He has many helpers and groups and teachers who are either currupted in their minds or deliberately wanting to steal our kids from God's ways.

Seems the enemy is using its deceptive evil going after our kids of all ages.  We call upon You Lord to save our children from the enemy. We know You love our kids even more than we do. Your Word promises that You will take care of them:

Praying for Rebellious Ones

For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God In the face of Christ. . .

Isaiah 9:2 (TPT)

2 Those who walked in darkness[a]
have seen a radiant light shining upon them.[b]
They once lived in the shadows of death,
but now a glorious light has dawned![c]

 Footnotes:

Isaiah 9:2 See Isa. 8:20

Isaiah 9:2 Just as darkness and night have boundaries (Gen.1:4), so the Lord will cause gloom to end and the shadows to flee. He is the one who says, “It will last this long and not a day longer.” God begins in darkness and brings darkness into the day. The darkest thing in us will be bathed in his glory-light.

Isaiah 9:2 See Isa. 55:8; Matt. 4:15-16; Eph. 5:8. This glorious light includes Jesus’ teachings, his miracles, and his pure life lived before the Father. Jesus Christ is a light of rescue for the lost, comfort for the hurting, wholeness for the broken, and escape for the captive. It is the light of joy, the light of revelation, the light of deliverance. Jesus’ birth signals an end of night and the beginning of morning.

Lord, we pray, beam forth Your light out of the darkness and into the hearts of our kids; let Your truth shine, and enter their souls bringing illumination and revelation to them.

Isaiah 8:20  (TPT)

20 You are to answer them: “Listen to the teaching and instruction of the Lord! If their speech does not line up with his word, they will have no light of dawn![a]

Footnotes:

Isaiah 8:20 Or “dayspring.” The implication for the believer is that we will have a “dawn.” The light of dawn is the hope of Jesus Christ that grows inside of us.

The path of the righteous is like the light of a sunrise shining in the eastern sky. From dark to dim to bright, it increases (Prov. 4:18). In times of calamity, make sure you quiet your heart and seal up the Word of God in your soul. The dawning of Christ’s glory is coming. For us, the early rays of morning light are already shining.

WE know these things about our God:

Parents and intercessors ask, "Lord, what do You want for this young generation?" Surely God's answer is that they inherit the promises promised to the descendants of His servants. Let us peruse some of His Word:

Deuteronomy 7:9 (Amp) Know, recognize, and understand therefore that the Lord your God, He is God, the faithful God, Who keeps covenant and steadfast love and mercy with those who love Him and keep His commandments, to a thousand generations,

Psalm 33:11 (NIV 2010) But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever,
the purposes of his heart through all generations.

Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good and His love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations.

PROMISES FOR OUR CHILDREN

Psalm 112:2 Their children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.

Isaiah 41:4 Who has done such mighty deeds,
summoning each new generation from the beginning of time?
It is I, the Lord, the First and the Last.
      I alone am He.”

Isaiah 44:3 For I will pour out water to quench your thirst
and to irrigate your parched fields.
And I will pour out my Spirit on your descendants,
and my blessing on your children.

 Isaiah 54:13, 17 NLT

I will teach all your children,
      and they will enjoy great peace;

54:17 NIV no weapon forged against you will prevail,
and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
and this is their vindication from me,”
   declares the LORD.

Claim this promise:

Isaiah 59:21 NIV As for me, this is my covenant with them,” says the LORD. “My Spirit, who is in you, will not depart from you, and my words that I have put in your mouth will always be on your lips, on the lips of your children and on the lips of their descendants—from this time on and forever,” says the LORD.

OUR PART IN THIS:

Acts 2:38-39 Peter replied, “Each of you must repent of your sins and turn to God, and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. Then you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. This promise is to you, and to your children, and even to the Gentiles—all who have been called by the Lord our God.”

Eph 3:21 NLT Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to him in the church and in Christ Jesus through all generations forever and ever! Amen.

Thank God for every righteous forerunner of the next generation. In general, young people today are being opposed to a degree that perhaps the world has never seen. The adversary of their souls is waging spiritual battle for the lives of an entire generation. Those whom the enemy cannot extinguish by abortion he is intent on stealing, killing, or destroying at younger and younger ages.

If you have a beloved rebel who is resisting the grace of God, your most urgent assignment is to pray for him or her, that they will withstand the enemy's assignments against them:

Lord I beseech You, Your Word promises You will bless them and not allow the enemy to have them. I call on Your promises:

Psalm 100:5 For the LORD is good and His love endures forever;
His faithfulness continues through all generations.

Psalm 112:2 Their children will be mighty in the land;
the generation of the upright will be blessed.

       ************************Part 2 *********************

WE MUST PRAY that our children will receive the incredible love of Father-God for them, Who does not wish any of them to perish. First, we need to pray this prayer for our own rebel wills, so that we can intercede from humility. We are all children of Adam, and our Intercessor sees our hearts that are prone to stray from Him. An old hymn sings our prayer, "Let Thy goodness, like a fetter, bind my wand'ring heart to Thee. Prone to wander, Lord, I feel it, prone to leave the God I love. Here's my heart, O take and seal it, seal it for Thy courts above."

Pray strongly this way:

Holy Father, we know that we are not fighting flesh and blood. The Lord Jesus Christ has all spiritual authority in this battle for the spirit, soul, and body of our chldren.

The issue is who will rule them: the Lord Jesus Christ or the king of lawlessness. The adversary is prowling around seeking to devour them, but we pray that they will be self-controlled, alert, resisting him, standing firm in the faith

(1 Peter 5:8-9 NLT) We pray Lord, that our beloved children will stay alert Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil.

1 Peter 5:8-9  (NIV)

8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. 9 Resist him, standing firm in the faith, because you know that the family of believers throughout the world is undergoing the same kind of sufferings.

From my position as priest in their lives, because I have authority in Jesus' name and blood, I command the enemy assignments against them to cease. I rebuke passivity, blindness, rebellion, and evil influence that would cause them to fall into errors of judgment, wrong choices, or outright sin. I take all curses and vows in force against them and our family and nail them to the cross of Jesus Christ

(Col. 2:13-15 NLT) You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for he forgave all our sins. 14 He canceled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross. 15 In this way, He disarmed the spiritual rulers and authorities. He shamed them publicly by his victory over them on the cross.,

Galatians 3:13-15 The Passion Translation (TPT)

13 Yet, Christ paid the full price to set us free from the curse of the law. He absorbed it completely as he became a curse in our place. For it is written:

“Everyone who is hung upon a tree is doubly cursed.”[a]

14 Jesus, our Messiah, was cursed in our place and in so doing, dissolved the curse from our lives, so that all the blessings of Abraham can be poured out upon even non-Jewish believers. And now God gives us the promise of the wonderful Holy Spirit who lives within us when we believe in him.

JESUS DEATH ON THE CROSS DID THIS:

Colossians 2:13-15 (TPT)13 This “realm of death” describes our former state, for we were held in sin’s grasp.[a] But now, we’ve been resurrected out of that “realm of death” never to return, for we are forever alive and forgiven of all our sins!

14 He canceled out every legal violation we had on our record and the old arrest warrant that stood to indict us. He erased it all—our sins, our stained[b] soul—he deleted it all and they cannot be retrieved! Everything we once were in Adam[c] has been placed onto his cross and nailed permanently there as a public display of cancellation.

15 Then Jesus made a public spectacle of all the powers and principalities of darkness, stripping away from them every weapon and all their spiritual authority and power[d] to accuse us. And by the power of the cross, Jesus led them around as prisoners in a procession of triumph. He was not their prisoner; they were his![e]

SEE GOD’S PROMISE TO/FOR YOU:

(Ps. 91:10-13 Message) Yes, because God's your refuge, the High God your very own home, Evil can't get close to you,  harm can't get through the door. He ordered his angels to guard you wherever you go.  If you stumble, they'll catch you; their job is to keep you from falling.  You'll walk unharmed among lions and snakes, and kick young lions and serpents from the path.

(Luke 10:19 AMP) Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you.

Now we stand and pray as Your Holy Word instructs:

I stand against ancestral, generational, and familiar empowerments. I plead Your covering of grace and mercy over all their present and past involvement in sin, iniquity, and rebellion that could give the evil one legal ground to affect or control. I pray for holy conviction of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, I renounce and break the power of false loyalties and sever soul-ties with anybody who is not sold out to the true and living God.

ask the blood of the Beloved Son of God to judicially deal with and destroy the works of the evil one, thereby closing the doors to demonic harassment.

Heavenly Father, Jesus in us is greater, and we pray for our Captain of the Lord's host to expose the schemes of wickedness and defeat its tactics. Protect our pokice officers with a heavenly guard of angels. Dispatch warring angels to fight this battle under the command of our Lord Jesus, the Ancient of Days and Captain of the Lord's hosts

From my position as priest in my children’s lives, I bless them in Jesus' name.  I pray that they will hunger and thirst for righteousness. Strengthen them in the Lord and cause them to order their life under the Lordship of Jesus. Establish them in godly wisdom and the fear of the Lord. Train them in the discipline of the Lord that will yield holiness and the fruit of righteousness. I ask for your favor to rest on them.

We claim the promises of Your Holy Word:

Isaiah 49:25 AMP For thus says the Lord: Even the captives of the mighty will be taken away, and the prey of the terrible will be delivered; for I will contend with him who contends with you, and I will give safety to your children and ease them.

God, You commanded light to shine out of darkness. Please shine into my  rebel's heart to reveal Your glory in victory in their life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

                  GLOBAL PRAYER ALERT NETWORK CONTINUED

Continued Praying…

  • We have entered into the new... You are faithful
  • You are the same today, tomorrow, and the days after that!
  • No, we are never stepping back, for we have entered into greater days
  • Yes, we believe in You, and we will operate at 100% in victory!
  • Victory is ours in the name of Jesus

  • We declare from glory to glory, from change to change
  • Father, we bring this declaration before heaven this morning, and we receive it today, Lord
  • Do not sit down or go back – for things are looking up, and they are getting better
  • We declare that in Jesus' name, things are going in the right way

  • The anointing has been given to each and every one of us
  • Thank You, Lord, we believe that things are being shaken up today
  • Hallelujah, the Lord is good and His mercies endure forever!
  • The enemy has been defeated, and we have been lifted up
  • Yes, we will continue to call those things that are not as though they are now

A Word of the Lord came forth

The church is here to stay; the power of the Holy Ghost is working to a greater degree in these days, for these are days of great change, and these are days where mysteries will begin to be revealed like never before, and hidden things will become greatly known all over the earth, and what the enemy meant for evil, will be completely destroyed and turned around and used for the Lord’s own good!

Seems like some things were put on the shelf as far as vision, as far as things the spirit has revealed unto you in days and weeks or maybe even years past. These are the times, and the days, and the hours right now for you to take that back off the shelf and dust it off, for the words that I have spoken unto you personally, must be believed for what they were and what they said to you. And you must take it literally in these days of victory.

And it will allow you, it will actually direct you to command things like you have never commanded them before. It will stir you and get you up in a place where you will not be satisfied with what is happening in your race.

But you will rise up and declare, no this is what the Father said, this is what the Holy Spirit said, this is what the Word says. And I have overcome through that precious blood and I have won and these are my testimonies today that I have literally, actually stepped over and into some new uncharted, unusual days here in 2020.

These days of the coronavirus are days the enemy is fighting widely to fling its evil in every directiion from individual doubts and emotional flare ups, to family conflicts, to riots in cities, and nations and the world. These are the days we must be aware and awake to its demonic warfare. Be not fooled by its subtle ways of injecting its malevolence into our lives. One tip is to get plenty of rest, for emotions can get uncontrolable when we are tired. I know my husband and I rarely fight, but if we get caught when both of us are tired at the same time, angry emotions can flare up over stupid stuff. So be sure you take good care of yourselves and your families during these perilous times and forget not to pray which is an excellent weapon!

Keep close to His Word and practice it.

Stay close to the Lord. Do not skip your quiet time appointments with Him. Remember what the Word of the Lord said above: The church is here to stay;

"the power of the Holy Ghost is working to a greater degree in these days, for these are days of great change, and these are days where mysteries will begin to be revealed like never before, and hidden things will become greatly known all over the earth, and what the enemy meant for evil, will be completely destroyed and turned around and used for the Lord’s own good!"

So be joyful in all things recalling that Jesus has overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil. He is our glorious King, and His Holy Spirit has come to indwell us and is leading us to where we need to go, and what we need to do. We are not left alone to make these important decisions. WE have supernatural help!!

SCRIPTURE FOCUS

Psalm 19:7-10

The law of the Lord is perfect, restoring the [whole] person; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.

(8) The precepts of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure and bright, enlightening the eyes.

(9) The [reverent] fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the ordinances of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. (10) More to be desired are they than gold, even than much fine gold; they are sweeter also than honey and drippings from the honeycomb.

11) Moreover, by them is Your servant warned (reminded, illuminated, and instructed); and in keeping them there is great reward. (12) Who can discern his lapses and errors? Clear me from hidden [and unconscious] faults. (13) Keep back Your servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me! Then shall I be blameless, and I shall be innocent and clear of great transgression.

(14) Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer.

Psalm 24:3-10 The Passion Translation (TPT)

3 Who, then, ascends into the presence of the Lord?[a]
And who has the privilege of entering into God’s Holy Place?
4 Those who are clean—whose works and ways are pure,
whose hearts are true and sealed by the truth,
those who never deceive, whose words are sure.
5 They will receive the Lord’s blessing
and righteousness given by the Savior-God.
6 They will stand before God,
for they seek the pleasure of God’s face,[b] the God of Jacob.
Pause in his presence
.

  • Footnotes:
  • Psalm 24:3 Or “hill of the Lord.”
  • Psalm 24:6 The Hebrew is plural (“faces”;).
  • Psalm 24:9 The Hebrew text says, “Lift up your heads,” which is a figure of speech for rejoicing. We are the living gateways who rejoice as the Lord draws near to us from his temple

This is a favorite Psalm of many. It can brings us His peace in this troubled time:

(Psalms 23:1-6 AMPC) The Lord is my Shepherd [to feed, guide, and shield me], I shall not lack. (2) He makes me lie down in [fresh, tender] green pastures; He leads me beside the still and restful waters. (3) He refreshes and restores my life (my self); He leads me in the paths of righteousness [uprightness and right standing with Him—not for my earning it, but] for His name’s sake. (4) Yes, though I walk through the [deep, sunless] valley of the shadow of death, I will fear or dread no evil, for You are with me; Your rod [to protect] and Your staff [to guide], they comfort me.

(5) You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my [brimming] cup runs over. (6) Surely or only goodness, mercy, and unfailing love shall follow me all the days of my life, and through the length of my days the house of the Lord [and His presence] shall be my dwelling place.

SEARCHING FOR A CLOSER WALK WITH GOD

                                        AWESOME GOD

 DIGGING DEEPER

Sometimes the terrible awesomeness of God hits me and sends me reeling into deep meditation. It always carries its reward of a new closeness with my God. It happened this morning. In the beginning I was distracted with my mind wandering here and yon. Then I ‘woke up’ and commanded it to return. God is so good! Holy Spirit began to lead me in prayer.

Sorry, my Lord. I come to our meeting this morning with scattered thoughts; help me, Lord, to rein them in. That You even desire to meet with me is so amazing! Deep breath. Moses asked God, “what shall I say when they ask 'Who sent me’?” You responded, “Say the Great I AM sent me.” You, God, are not hemmed in by time. For You there is no ‘was, will be’, there is only I AM. Before You I bow down my heart, my 'who I am' I submit to You; help me become who You created me to be.

Exodus 3:13-14 (AMP)

13 And Moses said to God, Behold, when I come to the Israelites and say to them, The God of your fathers has sent me to you, and they say to me, What is His name? What shall I say to them? 14 And God said to Moses, I Am Who I Am and What I Am, and I Will Be What I Will Be; and He said, You shall say this to the Israelites: I Am has sent me to you!

  • Footnotes: Exodus 3:15 To know the name of God is to witness the manifestation of those attributes and apprehend that character which the name denotes.

Can you feel the depth of that name? 'I AM' signifies so much ~ timelessness, absolute love, supreme power, unimaginable expansion ~ an incomprehensible being, totally surrounding. There simply are not words to express the grandness of Who our God is. HIS LOVE FOR US  S SO APPARENT IN HIS WORD!

Psalm 91:14 (AMP)

Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness—trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never].

Isaiah 52:6 (AMP)

Therefore My people shall know what My name is and what it means; therefore they shall know in that day that I am He who speaks; behold, I Am!

Indeed my God! You are the great I AM! This measures so deep and so high and so wide. You revealed Your staggering magnificence to David, and it comes out here:

Psalm 139:1-10

O Lord, you have examined my heart

and know everything about me.

2 You know when I sit down or stand up.

You know my thoughts even when I’m far away.

Even when it’s my mind traveling on tangents.

3 You see me when I travel and when I rest at home.

You know everything I do.

4 You know what I am going to say

even before I say it, Lord.

5 You go before me and follow me.

You place your hand of blessing on my head.

6 Such knowledge is too wonderful for me,

too great for me to understand!

7 I can never escape from your Spirit!

I can never get away from your presence!

8 If I go up to heaven, you are there;

if I go down to the grave, you are there.

9 If I ride the wings of the morning,

if I dwell by the farthest oceans,

10 even there your hand will guide me,

and your strength will support me.

You are always with me.

You will guide me.

You will always be my support. Your strength

upholds me, protects me, supports me.

Lord, You are so good! What a privilege to know You! Thank You that You continue to grow me closer to You. Thank You! I love being together with You, my Lord.
